Noemi's gaze intensified as Cress pulled his block out, looking around to see if it triggered anything. Oddly enough, it did nothing.
She nodded to him, as he set his piece down. "I am not sure? I suppose the...the leaders do?" She pursued her lips, "I suppose the Island has been here for a long time, so....." She slid her block out slowly. There was an audible sigh as again, nothing happened to cause distress to the other two.
"Deus is first place I've been too since Farm, much much different." She looked up at Cress, "You can take leave, from the portals, for two days a month? To anywhere you want to go!" Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 2 Total Points: 2

He carefully pulled another block out. Thankfully, the tower didn't seem to look like it was going to collapse anytime soon...hopefully. He didn't particularly want to find out what happened when it did.
Cress raised an eyebrow. "Really?" Convenient portals that took you wherever you wanted to go. Now that did sound like a pretty big plus with living on the Island with sh*tty pay and life endangerment. At least you could take leave and go anywhere else for a bit. ".........." She was quiet as she pulled another piece, thinking of how to answer. "I have not been on leave. I have money sitting in bank card they give me? But have no need to use it because..." She looked a bit sad, "Too scared to go by myself. Where would I go?" She shook her head.
"All I know is farm, and Texas. Other states, other countries? Too big of world for small me." She nodded, "One day..One day I'll be brave and see new things...but we'll see." "Well, I think you're plenty brave enough as is. I mean, look at this-" He gestured around at the sharks and sniper lasers. "And here we are, just playing f***ing Jenga. And we've got more dangers ahead of us, but you're still in, aren't you?" He slid another piece out carefully.
"I've always wanted to take a peek at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, and I suppose this would be the best chance seeing as I might get sufficient fake clearance from Deus. "Ah...this..this is true." Noemi nodded, "What is...Large Hadron Collider? What is CERN?" Noemi blinked at him. "Oh...Oh Maybe> Maybe I'd like to come...just to see what it is?" She bit her lip as she maneuvered another piece for her collection.

"Large Hadron Collider is a really large particle collider underneath the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva, Switzerland. It allows physicists to do tests in particle physics and high-energy physics, figure out the origin of the universe, soon on and so forth. CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research which is in charge of the Collider."
