"What are they...?" Aysun starred at Samoset in a wide eyed manner, as if he was trying to figure if the other guy was joking or not. How could he not know what they were? Giving a happy smile he said, "They are two rather amazing animals that people can actually ride around on! Raptrix are they big, fluffy canines with wings, and Mammu are large sized creatures with fluffy coats and big, long tusks." He explained, sounding a bit wistful, as though he wished those creatures would arrive straight away and become a part of his animal army. The more the merrier if you asked him, though pretty soon he was sure that his mother was going to kick him and the army out of the house.
Turning to scratch one of the familiar's on the head before asking of Samoset, "Since you didn't ask about the Radaku I am guessing you already know what those are, right?" He felt that he should make certain that he did or else he was likely to going to only end up that much more confused. Clapping his hands he said, "They are only one of the most beautiful of all the creatures ever! You can ride on them as well! Oh man, how much fun would it be to have a pet that you could also get a ride from?" That was what Aysun wanted the most at the moment, any of those three, or even something he'd never heard of that was just as interesting. No matter what he was happy if he got something that was willing to give him rides.

Samoset's eyes went wide as Aysun described what Mammu and Raptri were. They both sounded really big and fluffy, which was a change from what he was used to. He'd only met Tahigwa's Roati, Najden, and she was plenty fluffy, but he'd never seen anything else like it. His expression furthered in awe as another new vocabulary word was introduced, the word being "tusks", and his lips formed into a purse again.
"What are tusks?" He asked, rubbing the back of his head. "I've never heard of those, either."
His shoulders gave an arch as Aysun spoke of Radaku and he scrunched his nose up. Of course he knew what Radaku were, he hunted them all the time! They were everywhere in Jauhar, how could he not know what they were? He rolled his eyes and nodded.
"Radaku are everywhere, I hunt them for big meals." He said, adding another, more matter-of-fact, nod at the end of his sentence. "My brother once brought one home that was longer than I am. It was HUGE."

"Tusks, you know, really big teeth, those that are longer then my arms, it's pretty neat." He said, giving a bit of a chuckle. He found them to be rather interesting, that they used them to fend off dangers as well as battle with those who would encroch on what they felt was theirs. It really did make him want to learn more about them but for the time being he was sort of stuck at home, something that made things a bit on the boring side. Still, he had his pets to hang out with so that was something, right? Giving a smile he said, "I really should start taking notes on everything that I learn from the various beasts that I run across, it would be rather interesting." As Sam spoke up about Radaku being 'big meals' that he hunted Aysun's eyes went wide and his face pale, "Y-You what?!" He and his brother went off murdering them? It was no wonder he couldn't find one of them, it was because this idiot and his brother thought that killing him was the best thing to do. Bah! What was it with people feeling that going around killing the most intresting animals was the best way to go about things?! It wasn't that he was completely against eating meat, he ate it of course, one didn't want to starve, but there were animals he felt were more appropriate for eating then others. What was it with people thinking that eating intelligent animals, those that could be trained to serve a tribe or tribesman, was a good thing? "Ugh, you're just like my uncle." He muttered to himself, knowing that Jacinthus thought the same thing, that any animal was delicious if cooked the right way. He wouldn't put it passed him to cook up a radaku as well when he was wanting nothing more then to find one to train. Eesh, then to hear that this idiot's equally as idiotic brother had killed a rather large one, one described as 'huge' bothered him. What if it had been special? Or older? Something mature that had been alive for who knew how long before they came along and killed it? Bleh... this was just something that made his stomach ache at the thought of it.

"Bigger than your arm?" Samoset mused, extending his own arm out for comparison. How could teeth get that big? They must be cumbersome to walk with, he thought, his lips wiggling upwards and over his canines for a second before nodding to himself. He'd never want teeth that big, they'd be horrible to chew with.
He watched Aysun grow pale with concern, which quickly turned into a defensive front. Why was he so surprised that he and his brother caught Radaku for food? Didn't he do the same thing? Sure, animals were great companions, but they're also food sources, too. How else were they supposed to get meat? Vegetables don't add muscle and eating fish all the time would be boring, they needed to kill other things so they could get stronger. He twisted his lips a bit and shook his head.
"I'm sorry you feel that way, I guess." He said, giving his shoulders a shrug. "But my tribe feels the need to eat certain things so that we may grow stronger. Sure, my brother did come home with a rather smug look on his face, but it was because of the doubt of our elders, not solely because of the size of the animal he'd killed. I imagine you'd understand if you were faced with the every day struggle of being accepted by your own people, like we have to. My brother and I need to work extra hard to please our elders than you do. You have more choices than we do."

"Certain things? There are plenty of animals out there, ones without the same intelligence as the radaku, that are in great supply! There is no reason to go off eating a species that could be a friend to someone." It was something that made him shudder a bit inside, the idea that his tribe meant to eat all the radaku. Didn't they know how wonderful they were? That you could make friends with them? Train them to let you ride on their backs? It was something that made him sad to think of, that one of those wonderful animals had been eaten. Aysun shudder then shook his head, trying to clear the thoughts from his head, not wanting them there.
Lifting his gaze he starred at the other guy dumbfounded as he went on about 'struggling to get his tribe to accept him' and that they had to 'work extra hard' and that he had 'more choices' apparently. Aysun gave a snort, "I am not going to feel bad about my family loving me and my tribe accepting me despite the circumstances of my birth, sorry if I don't. Nor will I so easily accept the fact that you feel fine about killing such wonderful creatures just to show off." The fact that his brother was so smug about it... but then again his brother was the worst of the two from what Aysun recalled from the first time they met. He'd hope that maybe they had grown up to be less annoying but it would seem not.
Crossing his arms over his chest Aysun said, "I should just get going, I have better things to do at the moment then argue about this with you, it's obvious you don't care."

Samoset turned his gaze away as Aysun spoke and folded his arms.
"I never said you had to feel bad. Pity is for the weak, anyway." He replied, rolling his eyes. He didn't understand why is was so bad to eat a Radaku. To him, they were as delicious as they were intelligent. Sure, they could be trained and coveted, but they were far more useful as a meal. Aysun was, clearly, the one being delusional here. Not him. Animals were meant for eating and were lower beings, even if they could be trained to do some pretty awesome things.
"Alright, then get going." He sighed, turning on his heels. "It was nice chatting with you, even if we couldn't agree on something so simple. Good luck finding your brother!"

As the other guy turned his back on him Aysun felt the overwhelming desire to reach out and grab hold of him by one of those antennae of his. Rude jerk... bah, this was why ones shouldn't bother with the Alkidike or those with their blood, they were all the same... that being aggravating beyond belief. He'd at least gotten a bit of good conversation out of him this time, a shame that it had to devolve so quickly. Obviously the guy was a moron, not seeming to care that his words and cavalier attitude about the radaku bothered Aysun. There were just some people that failed at empathy he thought to himself.
Aysun gritted his teeth, whirling around as well, then said to his gathered 'army' of pets, "Let's go." It was time to get going before this idiot said anything else lest Aysun find himself tempted to punch him or something. He really didn't want to be like, didn't want to feel the urge to hit people, but man there was just something about those twins that continued to rub him wrong even now that they were grown.
Grumbling to himself about 'bug eyed idiots' Aysun headed on his way, with all of the creatures following along after him, only Sunshine seeming bother with saying 'goodbye' in a series of chirps back at Samoset as the one she was sitting on walked away.
