Sabrewolf123 sworday Sabrewolf123 sworday Sabrewolf123 Alright, it's up to you. And of course, if you think up a new ability you can add it to your character but you need to get the move approved Are multiple weapon forms allowed? I was thinking that a weapon with multiple forms, each form having it's own curse could provide some versatility to offset the drawbacks. Yes, you may have up to 3 weapon forms Convenient! Proposed additions: New weapon forms - Bola - Harpoon New abilities: + Curse of the Imprisoned: When the bola wraps around someone, both they and the one who threw it are immobilized until the bola is removed. + Curse of the Accused: When the harpoon is buried in someone's body, the meister becomes physically weaker (about 50%). I'll also alter the curse of the inquisitor to only kick in for flail form and the partial transformation to work for the other forms. Might add some backstory stuff about a cursed ancestor or something too. It'd give Elena a goal to work toward at least! mrgreen Cool, now you're getting the hang of it! That's all okay, but remember that RPCs must have a chance to resist the paralysis caused by Curse of the Imprisoned. Hmm, how about if I changed it to only immobilize the body parts the bola is wrapped around?

Basically, there needs to be a chance for a character to resist any kind of action that another rpc can do to them, especially violent ones and ones that will impair the character in some way. We've created this line to protect people from losing control of their own creations (or parts of their creations) against what they may want. It means you have to depend on the other person being a fair roleplayer and every now and then people will cheat by dodging everything or ignoring the effects of your attacks, but that's much better than having someone create a character and insisting their attack paralyzed you or took control of your mind or something. (Yes we've had that problem before). Anyway, that's the point behind giving rpcs a chance to resist an effect no matter how small or great.

How about this: the binding's strength is based on the strength of the soul synchronization. This gives a couple ways out, either screw with the synchronization or overpower it. It'd mean the ability would be rather weak until Elena's been with a meister long enough to manage a full sync, yet not invincible once that occurs.

New weapon forms - Bola - Harpoon Abilities: *NEW* + Curse of the Burnt Witch: This curse is the center of Elena's ancestral curse. As long as this curse remains, consumption of a witch's soul will only result in regurgitation. This curse is visible to anybody who can see souls, appearing as black chains wrapped around Elena's soul. (NOTE: Elena is not aware of this) *NEW* + Curse of the Imprisoned: When the bola wraps around someone, both they and the one who threw it are immobilized until the bola is removed. The strength of the binding is equal to the strength of the synchronization between weapon and meister. (NOTE: Elena is not aware of this ability) *NEW* + Curse of the Accused: When the harpoon is buried in someone's body, the meister becomes physically weaker (about 50%). (NOTE: Elena is not aware of this ability) + Curse of the Inquisitor: (passive) The wounds given by the flail are extremely painful and slow to heal. Elena's wielder is also affected by this effect as well, applying it to all injuries sustained from any source while wielding her. (NOTE: Elena is not aware of this ability) Edited Bio: Abandoned as a nameless baby on the steps of an orphanage in Romania, Elena was named by the man who ran the building. While her childhood was not precisely “bad”, she would often refer to the orphanage as “The most picturesque slice of soul-crushing boredom in Romania”. She manifested her abilities as a weapon at age twelve, to the astonishment of many as she could assume multiple forms. It was at this point that some effort was made to find her parents, but there was no luck to be had. Two years later, she was scouted by the DWMA and she immediately agreed to go. Unbeknownst to her is that she is descended from a Death Scythe whom was curst by the witch whose soul she ate. That curse led to her death and has been passed down to all of her descendants without fail.
