"I don't want you anywhere near him. If anyone's going to do it, it's going to be me." Even powered up, Lance didn't condone unjust harm to someone, so for him to say something like this..
The blonde shook his head, pulling Alistair closer as he hugged him. "No..." He mumbled quietly. "I would never touch you like that... That man wanted to hurt you. I could never... Not to you." Lance wouldn't dream of touching Alistair like that. Ever. He'd rather die. "I love you too much to treat you like that..."

"Lance, sshh - that's not what I meant," Alistair said, hands sliding down to wrap around his boyfriend's shoulders. "I know you'd never hurt me." He moved his hands to pull Lance's face away from his chest, and then pressed their lips together, holding it even as he bean unbuttoning his own shirt. He slid it off, and then brought Lance's hands to his chest.
"Look, I'm fine - and that's because of you. You've kept me safe. You wouldn't let anything happen to me. You're the reason I'm still alive - and that's why you deserve Eternal."

Lance just seemed to stare in a haze as he watched his hand against Alistair's chest. There were no marks, no bruises, no signs that anything had happened. Because nothing had happened. He could almost see them though. A scratch here, a bruise or a bite mark there. And Lance closed his eyes again to stop the thought from getting out of hand. "Yeah..." He said slowly. "Nothing happened... You're fine. You're okay.."

Alistair brought one hand up to his neck, then put the other one on his stomach. "Exactly. I'm fine, nothing happened - you saved me before it could." He kissed Lance again, then drew the hand on his neck to his shoulder. If he had to do this all night, he'd do it so Lance could understand that he wasn't broken.
