I have never once encountered a shiny PKMN in all the G/S gaming I've ever done... xp

If I noticed a shiny and most likely I have already I'd think 'Hmm that's odd, the game must be overheating.' and I'd turn it off. xd
that's if I noticed if it was a different colour in the first place. sweatdrop

Trumpster If I noticed a shiny and most likely I have already I'd think 'Hmm that's odd, the game must be overheating.' and I'd turn it off. xd that's if I noticed if it was a different colour in the first place. sweatdrop
Other Shinies have the same effect.

I once saw a Shiney pidgey in Gold (borrowed it from a friend)... but... *weeps* I used up all my pokeballs... had it to red.. but I COULDN'T CATCH IT!! crying I weep...
As for my starter... either Squirtle or Bulbasaur. I'm not too sure which.

I preorered, but i never got the mini trainers guide! gonk Oh well, an excuse to annoy Toys'r'us more when I go claim my game. whee
I'm going for teh shiny Charmander!. blaugh Black Charizard is teh awesome. I'll ware out my batteries restarting but whatever. That's what AC adapters are for.
If you have never seen a shiny... then you didn't get very far in G/S/C, did you? surprised

The guide's not really so much of a walkthrough as it is sort of tips and hints. Nothing earth-shattering since we've all played the game before. It has a nifty little battle log that I'm not sure I'll use, but it's cool. It also has a handy-dandy tearout strength/weakness chart.
And of course it has small bits of info on the wireless adapter and the new features in the game.
