He was about to get up when she grabbed his hat and ran off with it. "Hey! Why must you always take my hat?!" He called out to her, glaring softly. Getting up, he chased after her playfully, allowing her to keep her lead ahead of him. "If you ruin my hat, I swear, you're in for such a punishment." He threatened playfully

She laughed as she turned, wiggling the hat in her hands, "Oooooo, is that a promise soldier boy?" she called back in a teasing manner, feeling the waves brush against her feet, her toes sinking a bit into the wet sand.

"You want it to be?" He called back, shaking his head at her. Finally, he decided not to play around and sped up. Catching up to her, he carefully tackled her, being careful that they didn't land too hard in the sand and water. "Gotcha now Kitten." He exclaimed, reaching up to grab his hat back from her.

She squealed when she was tackled down, laughing and not caring her hair got wet, she was at the beach, you were supposed to get into the water. When he reached for his hat, she held it out of reach, dangling it over the water, "Uh uh uh, I want a kiss before I give this back to you." she said, pucking her lips up.

He huffed at her when she held his hat out of reach, not caring as the waves splashed over them. He was about to complain to her when she said she wanted a kiss, he chuckled. "You should have said that in the first place." With that, he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers

She giggled as she kissed him back, putting his hat back onto his head and wrapping her arms around him. She would have enjoyed the kiss alot more if a wave hadn't splashed right down onto them, causing her to pull away from the kiss and yelp in surprise, now covered in salt water.

He was about to deepen the kiss after she placed his hat back onto his head, but they were soon crashed onto by a wave. He sputtered a bit, catching his hat before it floated away, but sputtered more when he found himself falling into the water more when she suddenly moved from under him. Pushing himself up onto his knees and placing his hat back onto his head, he looked to her, chuckling softly. "What's wrong Kitten?"MoochiLove Sorry for the double quote, had to fix the color code

Azure sat up on her knees, sputtering and shaking her head to get the water from around her eyes. She was a wet mess now, looking almost like a wet cat and she glared at him like one too when he chuckled at her, "How about you take a look in a mirror before you decide you want to make fun of me." she said, splashing him before standing up and wringing out her tail.

He tilted his head at her as he watched her get the water out of her eyes. He blinked when she glared at him, wondering what he said wrong when he asked what was wrong. He brought his hands up to block the water when she splashed him. "What are you talking about? You should know that water makes our fur clump. What did you expect when you suggested that we go swimming first, our fur to magically stay in place?" He questioned, tail splashing lightly in the water.

She hmph'd at him again, turning and letting the water from her tail flick at him as she made her way back to the blanket, nose in the air a bit an irritated look on her face.

He sighed and shook his head at her being a little brat. Getting up, he trotted over to her, catching up and walking beside her. "C'mon Kitten... seriously, what's wrong? This isn't like you. You don't get upset about your fur like this when you're in the bath. There has to be something else bothering you."

She sat on the edge of the blanket, not wanting to get the whole thing wet because of how wet she still was and she folded her arms. When he asked her what was really wrong, she was quiet for a moment before she said softly, "I got freaked out when all that water washed over me." she finally said.

He sat down beside her as she got onto the blanket, tail flopping lightly. When she explained why she was really upset, he sighed and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to him. "Aw, Kitten. It would have been alright. I had you, I wouldn't have let you get hurt... you know that."

She felt herself calm down when he wrapped his arms around her and she laid her head on his shoulder, sighing softly, "I know...it still scared me." she said softly, bringing her legs up and wrapping her arms around her legs, closing her eyes.

He gently rocked her, kissing the top of her head. "There's nothing to be afraid of, I'm with you. The water won't hurt you." He said, still trying to comfort her, rubbing her back lightly up and down.
