Rainforest dipped his head and stuttered a reply. "I-I'm Rainforest and I ask to join your pack on account of lonliness."
He stared at his paws waiting for the verdict, then brought his eyes up as he thought River might appreciate a little show of courage. He wagged his tail slightly to show he was friendly.

River quirked a brow at the green male. "Well its fine with me, but do anything to endanger our members and you face me and Lily. Neither will be fun for you. Now I must get back to poor Feather so I can save her from that flippy trout I left her with. She's a good catch Lily." He waggled his brows at his love.

Featherheart's eyes went wide when he complimented her and said he was proud of her. She couldn't believe she had just heard that but it made her heart soar she was so happy. She wagged her tail so much and hung onto the fish. She would not lose this fish. She blushed and hung onto that fish no it would not get away from her. She looked over at River as he walked over to her mother and tilted her head as she watched it all. She was shocked by how he just showed off that he liked her mother. It still amazed her that he was ok with all of this but she was happy her mother was going to have happiness. She wanted her mother to be happy.
Lilliana smiled at River as he brushed along her side. She nuzzled his cheek and licked it. Then she swatted him affectionately with her tail and smirked. "River no need to freak out the new guy. Yes I am your mate but you don't need to make him have a panic attack. If you give him a heart attack we won't get another member to our pack." She smiled at Rainforest and nudged River. She watched as he looked down at the ground and then back up. It was good he looked up. "Welcome to the pack Rainforest. And don't mind River he is just a bit possessive of me and wants other males to know I'm off the market but he is very sweet."
Madeline burst out laughing as she watched all of this. She couldn't believe what was going on and it was so silly to see the beta get like this. But Lily seemed to smooth it all over. That was good.

Lilliana looked over at River and smiled. "You should tell her that she worries you don't like her since she isn't your blood. She fears you resent her since she is not biologically your daughter. You might want to do something to show her this isn't true." She laughed as he waggled his brow and she let her eyes trail over him suggestively to show him what she thought of that eye waggle.
Featherheart continued to hold onto the fish and it slipped out of her mouth but she pounced it and pinned it down on the ground. She held it there pinned not letting it get away from her.

Rainforest tilted his head and wondered what he had got himself into.
River blinked innocently at his mate. "Oh was I doing that again? I'm sorry, didn't realize it." He slitted his eyes and looked over at Rainforest, revealing his bluff. "One the plus side if hes here its not my turn to clean the den tonight~"

Lilliana watched Rainforest tilt his head and laughed. "You ok there Rainforest? You can turn around and leave if you want I won't force you to stay." She then looked at River and snorted showing him just what she thought of him playing innocent. "Uh huh sure sweetheart. See if you get to cuddle tonight. Maybe I'll just curl up somewhere else." She teased him and bat at his ear. She arched her brow as he said that to Rainforest. "Keep scaring him honey and you will always have cleaning the den duty." She smirked and swished her tail.
Madeline chuckled her alpha definitely knew how to lay down the lay and what threats would work. Though from her they were more promises than threats. "Careful remember what happened last time?"
Featherheart continued to keep the fish pinned down and looked around at the others wondering what they were doing.

New month!
Rainforest got up that morning and stretched. It looked like an excellent hunting day, sunny and everything was covered in pollen, what a glorious spring it was. So hunting was what he would go do, and if he was really lucky, one of the girls would be out there so he would have someone to talk to.
River too stretched and woke, "Rainforest would you mind hunting today? I have some...other buisness to attend to." Namely Lily. He wondered if she missed the pitter patter of tiny kip feet like he did. Well only one way to find out. He scampered outside to look for her.
Rainforest felt like his birthday had just happened. For once the Beta had given him something that he wanted to do.

Lilliana had gotten op early that morning and gone out to make sure their territory was safe. It was her job to keep everyone safe as she was the alpha. She couldn't let anything bad happen to her pack and wondered what the others were doing. She hoped River was being nice to Rainforest. He was so over protective and it was sweet but she missed him being all sweet and snuggly with her. She had had no time with him and it was making her sad.
Featherheart looked around and spotted the rabbit. She stalked up to it silently and then moved to pounce on it. But she broke a branch and it scampered away. She growled frustrated she had been trying to catch something for a while but no matter what she did she just couldn't do it.
Madeline walked over to her. "That was better. Just be more patient. You'll get it don't worry." She smiled at the pink girl and nuzzled her cheek. "Take a deep breath and calm down. You'll catch nothing growling like that." She liked the little girl and was proud to see how hard she was trying. "I'm going to go and fish take my advice and you'll catch something." She walked off to the lake and pounced a fish.
Featherheart sighed. She wanted to make her mother proud and maybe even make River proud of her. But she wasn't sure she would ever be able to do that. She got ready to try and catch something again.

River followed his love's scent, "Hello pretty fox, looking for me?" He giggled and snuggled up against her. " I have missed you so much, and I thought with everyone hunting we could have some time to ourselves, what do you think of that my precious Lily?"
He wrapped his fluffy tail around hers and licked her cheek. "Rainforest is out hunting too so hopefully he can keep an eye on the others."

Rainforest bounced over to Madeline and Featherheart. "Happy hunting day! Ooh trout for supper Featherheart? Trout is delicious but tricksy, tricksy fish." He giggled a bit. It was such a beautiful day and he was in the best mood. He bounced around Madaline, "Caught anything interesting yet? Ooh look a stump!" He slunk over to it and poked a paw in one of the holes. "I think there is something in here! It smells funky! Im thinking rodent."
He started digging, dirt flew everywhere, but his energy knew no fetters.

Lilliana was walking the territory more and heard someone coming over to her. She spun around and purred as she heard what he said and saw who it was. "Hey there sweetheart I was going to go look for you after I finished." She snuggled him back and smiled more. Just happy to be with him. She giggled and cuddled him. "I've missed you too love. Thought you had gotten bored of me. AndI would love to spend time with you today. I think it is an amazing idea. Darling River."
She snuggled into his fluffy tail and purred. She giggled when he licked her cheek and licked his cheek back. "That's good."

Featherheart jumped about six feet in the air when the hyper green male ran over to them. "Madeline is the one who is getting the trout I'm trying to catch something."
Madeline caught a fish and killed it then threw it onto the back with the pile of other fish. "Yeah those fish over there. Have you caught anything yet?" She looked over at Feather. "Come on dear you can do it. Just try again."
Featherheart nodded and got ready to pounce another animal. She stared over at Rainforest and tilted her head. What did he eat to be like this?

"Lily!" He said her name in mock shock. " I will never be bored of you, years from now you will be just as beautiful as you are now and just as enchanting." He winked. "You are my bright sparkling star and if you ever get worried about this again, drag me to a corner and I will tell you the truth of my love all over again."

Dirt clod, rock, stick, stump, AHAH! The burrow he found it at last! He stuck his nose in. Gopher! Then a paw, then his whole head and after much scratching and tail flailing came out with the creature, he tossed it toward featherheart. "Catch!"
The gopher flew through the air and landed running, seemingly unhurt and raced away. Rainforest hoped that would help Feather.
He then bounced over to Madeline. "Nice catch, someones been busy."

Lilliana looked at him and tilted her head. She smiled and snuggled closer to him. She blushed and hid her face as he spoke. She used her paws to hide her face and her face just got redder and redder. "You are such a flirt River." She teased him. She snuggled closer to him and smiled. "You mean it? Are you telling me the truth my love?"
