Head cocked again, Kirsi sounded out the word slowly, "Tickling..." So, touching a body part could make someone laugh? ...If she hadn't just seen it, she would have thought that was a fake thing. So, this one's legs were ticklish. Odd.
Blinking, she looked around and patted the ground. "Am out now!" Goodness! Of course she could get out of the water! Then, she suddenly wondered as well... how long could she stay out? "...First time out." That should answer things! She hoped she could stay out as long as she wanted...

Shousuke felt himself sigh a little. She was out, but not in the way he had meant. "Wow, really? Are you...are you enjoying your first time out, or do you want to go back?" He wasn't sure how well he was suited for rolling out the welcome carpet, and felt as if she might be disillusioned now.
"There are a lot nicer things out here than me. Museums, movies, dance performances, music...."

Head tilting slightly, Kirsi gave his question serious thought. Enjoying herself... A wide grin opened up and she nodded. "Enjoy!" She reached over to grab his hand again and play with those free fingers. This was amazing! How could she not be having fun?
Things nicer than him? When he began listing things off, she could only stare at him blankly. "...Music nice," she murmured. That was the only word she recognized. Well, performance was familiar, but was it the same as her home? Showing off some sort of skill? And why would this all be nicer than this male here? This male? Oh! "Kirsi!" She suddenly announced, pointing to herself.

Shousuke groaned and just let his hand go limp. There really was no point in trying to wrestle it away from her when she was so dead set on playing with his fingers.
"Kirsi?" Was that some kind of band? He'd heard of weirder names, that was for sure. After a full five seconds longer than it should have he opened his mouth and pointed to her as well. "That's your name? Kirsi?" Now he felt like a jerk for all the little jabs about a band name. It really is kind of cute, though.
"My name's Shousuke."

Tail flicking, Kirsi idly played with the fingers as the male took his time realizing what it meant. Then, she smiled and nodded. "Name! Kirsi!" She squeezed his fingers as his own name was sounded out. "Shouuu-Suuuu-Keee..." She smiled again and tugged his fingers. "Shousuke! Shousuke! I enjoy Shousuke, dew!"

Shousuke's cheeks were a brilliant shade of magenta by the time he remembered how to breath. If adorably innocent had a face it would have been Kirsi and he didn't honestly think he would be able to handle it much longer.
She wasn't exactly correct in pronunciation, but he was willing to over look it all too readily. "H-hey, Kirsi, I've got to go soon, since I have to go to work, but I was wondering...would you want to meet back up tomorrow?" This drive would be a ways out of his normal routine, but Shousuke would floor it the whole way.
"Because, you know, I enjoy Kirsi too. A whole bunch." He smiled.

There it was again! The face! Kirsi couldn't help giggling. What in the depths made his face change color so much?
Got to go? That made her face fall. She knew what 'go' meant... Of course, she instantly perked back up when he asked to meet back up! Tomorrow? ...Oh! She'd heard of tomorrow! "After sleep!" she announced happily. Her home didn't have much difference between day and night, so 'tomorrow' was a mystical term brought by travelers. She brightened even further with Shou's statement. He enjoyed her, too! Her first land friend! "Here! I be here! After sleep!" She tugged at his hand, looking only a tiny more serious over the joy she felt. "No miss, okay?"

Shousuke smiled. "Yes, after sleep. When the sun comes back out, but not too early, because I work when the moon is out." He wouldn't be able to explain to her how a Night Shift worked. That would be for another day.
Looking at her, and the "seriousness" employed in her speech made him realize how people must feel when coming across an adorable baby in a store. He just wanted to take pictures and say how cute she was for hours. GET A GRIP. Shousuke nodded and squeezed her hand. "I won't miss. Why don't you keep my shirt for the night, and I'll come get it tomorrow? That way I'll have to make sure not to miss." He winked.

Sun comes back, when the moon is out... Those were the bright things in the sky, right? They told people when it was tomorrow! Quite proud of herself for having paid attention to the passing adventurers, she gave a small nod. He wouldn't miss...
Looking down at the shirt, she giggled and finally released his hand to hug her arms around herself. "I keep shirt, dew!" She rolled onto her back and flicked her tail up into the air playfully. "Tomorrow," she said again, giving Shou a much more exaggerated wink back, considering that she wasn't accustomed to doing such a gesture.

Shousuke couldn't help it. He laughed and gave her back another exaggerated wink of his own. "Tomorrow!" He gave her a salute before moving back up the shore line to pack up his things.
There wasn't a lot, now that the wind had taken away most of his lyrical note sheets in the wind while he wasn't looking. It was mildly aggravating, but nothing he couldn't take care of later.
When everything was packed up he looked back at Kirsi one more time and waved before going back to his van.
