Claudia Vesslia Nyru became emerged in the light ambiance Adi was emitted from her golden shield. The warm dust brushed her ashy skin even though she was no where near the edges. Isabelle demanded attention, but for some reason her voice was the only one that got through to him in this time of desperation. The army, as overwhelming as they appeared, were far from brawn but numbers caused them to be intimating. These corpses are vengeful souls indeed and wish to rest beneath the earth that supplemented them until their final hours. Claudia grid her teeth when the Gothic mistress swiped them away like flies turning them to ash. Her venting wasn't directed towards the sibling, but the cultist that sacrificed these innocent people for no reason. However, the concept of her plan put a strike of fear into Nyru as if he had just been struck by a lightning bolt. She was no strategist but her instincts told her to trust what her eyes have seen.
Isabelle's approval took some debating within herself but eventually she figured that Claudia's improvising would be as good as any. Besides, the gypsy composure was beginning to collapse within seconds. The time to decided was now and with Nyru's influence, he asked the Prince to lend them all the protection they could get. A path was made by the sea of soldiers allowing them to stand in he middle where it was considered the safest position. Along the way, the blonde beckoned the shadows that flatted under the armies feet, the silhouette elongated on the ground next to their fiendish masters, and the trees and buildings that still stood. They leaped off the ground and wrapped around her legs slithering up her body. Abruptly stopping, she bent the shadows to her will and formed a cross similar to her partners. Her fist cranked back as well ready to fly when Isabelle gets in the same formation. One shot could either defeat the cultist or bring the Therians to extinction.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Isabelle followed, she saw Nyru and Claudia summon up their power, bringing the symbol of the Conclave of Declasia before them in their own particular style. Both of them had their fists pulled back, the shadows grappling around their legs, rushing down buildings, from soldiers, from every crack in the ground as it was augmented to become a fierce and brutal power. Isabelle rushed in last, the wall of soldiers closing behind her. Letting her flaming weapons wrap back into bracelets she was running towards them whilst drawing the symbol in the air before her, when she came to a stop she was between them, and turned around to face the symbol. She didn't pull back her fist though, she was no warrior like the Royal Guard... she was a lady of the Occult, it had to be done in style. Whipping her hands down beside her her bracelets ignited into life, the dark serpents following the flow of her arms as she curled them up high above her and slowly paused when she held both high above her head, the shadows climbing her body, latching onto her skin like rats as she drastically extinguished her flames suddenly. Everything went dark around the three of them, all shadows had been condensed, the three of them were linking their souls in a way that resonated like a giant heart beat. After only a second great, purple eyes lit up high above the trio, and a sudden growl rumbled as the head of a giant dragon made of shadow appeared, either side of it were great, spiky, reptilian fists behind Nyru and Claudia. Nyru then shouted "NOW!!!!".
The fists that Claudia and Nyru controlled were thrust forward, the two of them throwing their punch into the air before them as the giant fists crashed into the nearest side of the great barrier. It rippled, it cried and whipped the surrounding enemies that were lingering outside of the barrier away. Then Isabelle whipped her arms back and cried "HYAH!!!" as the shadow-born dragon's head opened its mouth to unleash the most abyssal flames to have ever existed. The funnel began at the base of the barrier, but the dragon's head reached up and eventually was breathing directly onto the ceiling! After only moments there was an explosion high above them, and the funnel of darkness soared high up into the sky and pierced the clouds. Moments after, the barrier around them shattered, and then exploded outwards leaving behind a deafening sound.
Many enemies on the outside were blasted to smithereens, others scorched by the previous funnel of darkness, those inside the barrier were left with ringing ears, cultists dazed, those connected with the barrier, who were holding in in place now holding their heads in agony. Undead from the inside continued, they were unaffected, but the minds of the cultists controlling them had been disturbed. The foul dead were now mindless, attacking the closest thing to them, as were the smaller of the demons, the vermin of Hell needed orders, as for the larger Demons... only few of them remained.
Now it was time to pick off the rest.
Charles saw Adi's power wavering before the barrier was destroyed, he wasn't sure how she would fair after the trio did what they planned. It was risky... what he planned... but he had to do something. She had done more than enough to help, and she was going to be their favourite entertainer! When he saw the giant fists attack the barrier, he snapped, he couldn't hold back any more. "Defend the Shadowmancers!!!" he yelled, as he stabbed his sword into the ground and rushed outside of the wall of soldiers, through the holy field Adi had created that protected them so well. There were much larger demons at bay out here, more undead, but he couldn't let her fall. He then heard it, she was struck! She was fallign from the sky like a shot bird! With a cry his sniggered as a jolt of energy thrust up his spine, his face whipped to the side, but he brought it back and pitch black eyes stared onwards as he leaped off the ground with canine feet, and as he reached to catch her the rest of his body was transformed by a flow of mist. He only hoped he was able to catch her, and hoped they landed okay... He hoped his enchanted armour would protect them enough, it grew and transformed with him.

She knew they were prepping to strike but it seemed to take forever. As she was struck in the shoulder, time sped up it felt like as they screamed out 'NOW'. Adi knew of course what would come and their idea was perfect if it worked, but it doing it they would forcibly shatter her own barrier. The affect they were seeking to have on the cultists would be the same reaction Adi would have.
Turning in the sky as she fell she could just see the shadows of fists and dragons attack the enemy. The power was astounding and though Adi expected the shattering of her barrier to affect her, the gypsy hadn't thought it would be what it was.
It was like being struck in the back of the head; pain so sharp and quick she saw white stars before blackness took over. The gypsy having no time to gasp as her somewhat still flapping wings went slack and she truly fell like a bird shot out of the sky. Adi was conscious but barely so, numb and limp as her weapon disintegrated into sparkly particles of light and golden dust loose feather doing much the same. Knowingly she fell and able to hear the chaos their attack on the enemy had caused...complete anarchy; undead fighting undead, demon against demon or the one against the other...even striking out at the very members of the cult that had once ordered them.
Thinking she was going to strike the ground and attacked or eaten Adi could move regardless of how much Zuriel screamed at her to do something or both of them would die. But then there were warm arms around her, catching her and saving her form a likely painful and gruesome end. Conscious enough to force her eyes open to half mast, Adi looked up to find none other then Charles holding her.
Adi was able to force an exhausted smile up at him; head still spinning and hurting from the barrier shattering.

Claudia Vesslia Isabelle lagged behind but she had her reasons and didn't waste time to sketch her symbol in midair which was invisible to the naked eye. For instance, Adi wouldn't be able to see it because she bent the light to her will and not the shadows. Furthermore, her bracelets took time to recoil back into their original form before she could advance to the next step. Instead of a fist, her bracelets shook to life, burst into flames, and when she elevated her arms above her head the shadows doused them. The only light source they had was from Adi's barrier that was no where near them so their surroundings were eclipsed in embracing darkness. The ribbons of shadows swirled around the Gothic female's arms and rose into the air creating the head and upper torso of a dragon. The most ancient and respected beast known throughout Magic Earth and beyond realms. Claudia stared into the purple yellowish iris' of the reptile as it breathed for the first time and its heart harmonizing with theirs. Each of the members now resonating as one unit waiting for Nyru to finally proclaim engagement, and he did.
Her fist pulled all of her clustered shadows back and then freed them in one solid effort of her fist flinging forward. Nyru imitated her exact moments and their punch impacted the dome diagonally. The wall waved like the raging ocean and a cultist located at the bottom became disoriented. A sonic bomb irrupted from the force, all demons and zombies were cleared out until reinforcements from the back lines replaced them. The sibling saved her attack for last stimulating the dragon's momentum before puppeteering its jaw open to apply fire to the dome. The dazzling pyrotechnics swept across the ground, leaving her allies untouched and crawled up the walls. The heat became so intent as it spiraled up to the ceiling almost suffocating all trapped inside. The flames penetrated the top and continued to go in case the dome tried to close in on them again. The barrier cracked and the outside air leaked into the crevices until the structure couldn't sustain itself. Her plan succeeded and as the barrier crumbled the adversaries near it had no chance of survival leaving a ringing triumph behind.
The manipulated departed lived, but at flames enveloping their bodies while the lesser demons dissolved into ashes. The cultist collapsed to the ground including their leader holding their heads in pain unable to give orders. This left the lower ranked demons defenseless and the zombies unattended allowing them to let their flesh craving take over. The hoisted themselves onto the small demons biting them and letting their screeches of misery echo through the desolate city. The larger demons remained in control and kept to their instructions of eliminating their opponents.
Claudia skewer the demons with as many arrows as she pleased, but as she reloaded she noticed the gypsy plummeting to earth. Her mouth opened wide to yell her name, however, the prince took their heroics of saving the damsel into his own hands. Shifting into a full fledged wolf, he pounced off his back legs launching him up to catch her. Her friend would be safe and right now she has her own duties to uphold. A warthog demon stride up to her ready to trample her when she jumped into the air acrobatically and shot the monstrosity in the head from above. Landing on the other side, she ran in the direction of the leader shouting for Nyru to follow her into combat. "Nyru, I need you!" She always needed him and before she could apologize a demon was inches away from clobbering her head in with a spiked mallet.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
The plan worked just as they had hoped, freeing them all except for leaving Adi behind to fall in the process. Luckily, Charles had caught her succesfully, with a great thud he had hit the stone below but kept her cushioned. The pain wasn't overwhelming, but he definitely knew they had hit the ground, and carefully and slowly he uncurled to free Adi, his voice growled as he asked "Are you okay?", his canine eyes looking around them to make sure no threat was on its way.
Meanwhile, Claudia was calling for Nyru's help, and as he found where her voice was coming from, he saw how a demon was closer to her back. Her felt a surge of energy flow through him, it was the adrenaline of seeing his partner inches from death. He didn't reply, he didn't have time to stop and yell back, he acted immediately and thrust his blade into the ground, beneath him his blade divided into its many segments and like a serpent it rushed under the ground and towards Claudia. Finally, when it had reached the demon it erupted from the ground and struck it from below piercing through the demon's head. In seconds it was over and his blade was recoiling back through the ground until it was back together in full form. Rushing over, he only nodded as he noticed the cultist in charge nearby, who was still trying to command the slaughter. Looking back, he saw now that hi sister was holding off the bulk of the demons and undead on the other side, the small army and the Demon Hunters of the Occult could execute this perfectly. "you lead the way, i'll follow!"

Like a gift from the heavens it was easy to tell. It was love from above that could save me from hell. She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see, how the devil himself could be pulled out of me. There were drums in the air as she started to dance, Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands. And we danced on into the night! ━━☽Ɍυɼ'Дɖɩқą Дɖɖąɧąɼɼą☾━━
Her head was reeling, her eyes unable to focus on something for very long and when Adi tried it just made her throbbing head feel worse. Not to mention the nausea she felt as well and sheer exhaustion. Had Charles not caught her and now held her so protectively; even when they hit the ground she had felt nothing, the gypsy was sure she would have been easy demon food.
Charling growling canine voice soothed her and helped her relax in knowing she was safe in her moments of helplessness. His question of being alright made her think about her condition. Thinking made her head hurt and Adi couldn't stop the soft groan like moan leaving her lips.
"As well as I could be....considering my barrier shattered and falling from the sk," she breathed out softly her voice clear that she sounded as exhausted as she felt. The gypsy managed to open her eyes again and give Charles a reassuring smile. "...headache, exhaustion...nothing serious that time and rest can't cure. I don't think I'll be of much use to you all in this fight any more.."
If she had to, she may be able to conjure some other sort of attack; but it would be rash and not precise. A wild last effort was all Adi thought she could manage at this point and Zuriel agreed though he assured her going to such lengths Adi would surely pass out; her human body unable to take the strain.
"...you need to get to the others...you're too exposed and on your own in the open like this..." the gypsy whispered unable to really focus and see past Charles face.
☽━━☆━━☾ Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place, you could tell how we felt from the look on our faces. We were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes. Claudia Vesslia Adi landed safely in the paws of the prince which gave her a gust of relief. However, paying attention to the gypsy caused her to end up in a situation where she could have died if Nyru hadn't saved her. The look he exchanged to her was all she needed to keep preserving towards the rotting leader. Plunging his blade into the earth's crust, it parted into sections and snaked its way through the dirt only to erupt out of the ground. A prefect sized hole was imprinted through the demon's skull, exposing his squishy brains among the pool of blood, while Claudia dodged its falling body. The rest of the pathway was cleared thanks to Isabelle and the rivaling Occult hunters. The leader extended his malnourished hand, commanding the demons and zombies to attack through breathless sentences. He was vulnerable and this made him desperate to the point where he couldn't see their attack coming.
Claudia jumped into action firing shadowy arrows into the ground around him that transformed into a vintage birdcage. The blonde then powered up an enlarging arrow aiming it at the top of the cage. With this, she would enhance Nyru's attack by ten fold which should obliterate the foolish pursuer of Hell. They were doing him a favor and sending him to the place where he belonged even though he didn't deserve that much.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
"Hey" Charles said, seeing the ache in her face as she breathed, trying to recollect her energy. She commented on her use as of now, but he reassured her "You've done more than enough to secure our safety, and I thank you". He couldn't thank them all enough for coming, for if it were just himself and his army... the city would be lost forever. "Stay safe, Rur'Adika!" he finally said, his voice growling in his wide jaws as he made sure the immediate area was safe for Adi before leaping back into the fray.
Meanwhile, Claudia had let loose her volley of arrows from the sky, she rained down havoc, and found the armies leader. He was commanding the flocks from the back, his scythe reflecting the light of the moon from where he stood. Claudia's arrows sunk into the earth around him, and from them burst the shadows that leapt into the air and intertwined together until he was captured, "like a bird" Nyru commented under his breath, knowing now was his chance. He saw Claudia's concentrated power, the arrow it was forming, and he conjured a plan.
Rushing closer to the leader, he obliterated anything that got too close to him, he was running down an open street past the few surviving demons, the undead were barely a problem any more. When he was close enough he lunged forward, his blade divided and soared like an arrow towards the enemy, but he did just as Nyru had thought, he used his scythe to grab and entangle the snake sword. "Hm" Nyru thought with a grin, pulling his sword back as the tangle of blades broke apart, glowing a furious purple as they spiralled and confused him, they then shot up just as Claudia release her gigantic arrow. The blades, one by one, joined the arrow as it plummeted for the man, they fitted within it like a puzzle, becoming giant themselves until finally, a cross between an arrow and a giant sword came falling to the ground in all its dark metallic splendour completely, and utterly decimated the man leaving rubble and dust in it's wake.
He could remember the dust settling, it was so slow, his vision and his hearing impaired, he couldn't tell if they were safe. But after a few minutes he heard his sister calling for him, and she found him, "Thank the Eternal, you're alright"

His reassuring words did their job well. The brunette gypsy relaxed and smiled up at Charles, not bothered by his canine jaws and appearances. Knowing she had done her job for now, Adi let him take care of the rest. While she rested against a crumbling wall and upturned trunk of large tree, he secured the area for her before going on his way.
She could sigh a bit of a relief knowing that anything nearest her was taken care of. Zuriel was hyper aware of any enemies that could potentially sneak up on her while Adi closed her eyes and just rested for a moment. Adi could hear her friends and companions in the distance taking care of the leader maybe and they could be done with this mess. It just seemed to be one battle after another and more tragedy after another.
And for Adi it truck again as if a group of stallion had hit her full sprint. Her chest burst forth with a blossoming pain that rendered her paralyzed and gasping for air she could not seem to be able to grasp. Clutching her aching breast, every muscle was tense as a rush of emotions came with the pain she was experiencing throughout her body.
"Adi!? What's going?" exclaimed Zuriel in her head unaware what was going on.
Panting and wide eyed the pain did not stop or ebb away, it remained like a knife twisting her heart and stomach. So sudden and painful, something she never had experienced, but it wasn't long for Adi to realize just what it was.
"CROIX!!!" came her banshee like cry of pain and panic. Leaping to her feet, her exhaustion forgotten as adrenaline hit her like a a punch from a boxer. It wasn't long before two sets of wings were sprouting from her and taking her to the skies in a specific direction. "Croix!" she called in further panic as she failed to see her stallion among the scattered members of their group.
But she followed the pain in her chest, drawing her closer to the direction she needed to go. When she found what she was looking for, there was no holding back the floodgate of tears and the pain in her chest only increased to the point she could barely breath..barely think. Dropping to the mucky marsh ground but only muddy with the life blood that her stallion and best friend now shed. The chestnut colored majestic beast was laying partly on his side, a gash on his stomach so deep how Croix's insides were not spilt she did not know.
"N-N-No....no no no no...not you; please not you..." Adi pleaded to the air as she knelt before her friend cradling his heavy head in her lap; his coat slick with blood and sweat from his exhausting fight with the claws of some demon. Her finger stroking down his neck in attempt to sooth the pain only to find another large gash on his throat nicking his artery. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry Croix...I should have been protecting you..."
Tears from her eyes fell upon his velvety nose and forehead, what she could see through her vision was Croix's wide scared and pain filled eyes. The pain she was experiencing still not lessening; her horses pain, her friend's pain. The wounds were to great to heal...he had lost too much blood. Now was a matter of letting him go out of mercy so he didn't have to suffer further.
"Please...I don't want you to leave..." she pegged and pleaded in her head that it was just a nightmare. The smell of iron too strong in the air, the stench of decay to distinct and the pain her heart to great to ignore. No mattering of whaling or crying would save him. Adi knew very well what she had to do here, as any gyspy would when their horse and companion died an unnatural death.
From around her neck and tucked into the bodice of her dress, came a amulet like necklace. Beads and bangles hanging from it, but a single large ruby lay in the middle rimmed in gold. Barely seeing what she was doing, she still knew by the mere nature of the act what she had to do. Unable to even look at the pendent she held in her hand, Adi simply cried into Croix's mane as he struggled for every waking breath. Clenching her teeth and eyes shut, with a single deep breath, the mourning gypsy clenched her hand in fist around the pendent. In a resounding shattering sound, the gem shattered into a number of pieces while the beautiful animal in her lap relaxed; letting out a sigh of breath as the light left his eyes.
If it was even possible for Rur'Adika to cry any louder, she did. Her cries hearth wrenching and sounding something like a tortured soul; so emotionally distraught that words couldn't begin to describe the pain.

Claudia Vesslia Nyru took the lead this their was no point for her two and cut down every demon that came his way. He was like a one man armageddon, and soon enough the path was cleansed of the disfigured abominations. He jumped forward, splitting the sword into several sections that once again slithered its way over to the enemy. However, this cultist was far more intelligent than his colleagues and intercepted the attack with one swing. The rotting b*****d bit off more than he could chew because Nyru anticipated this cowardly move from the start. He retracted his sword just a bit and allowed it to withe around him to kept his vigilant attention. The swaying tentacles became to much and the man ended up disoriented. Now was her chance since Nyru's sword illuminated a ominous purple which attracted her dark arrow to it. Claudia fired when the arrow was slightly bigger than her whole body, yet light as a feather. The projectile zoomed towards the cage following the darkness from Nyru's weapon as the two of them combined in order to deal a huge impact. The leader was left inside a dent in the earth covered with rubble and unsettling dust.
The dark explosion knocked her off her feet and left her ears ringing. Through the haze and partially deafness, the blonde heard a familiar voice call to her bother. Nyru had tons of family members to care for him and if she ever dies, she'll know he'll never be lonely. The time for celebrate had to be postponed until the dead are buried or burned. There is also a severe amount of reconstruction on top of all the madness, but that could wait. Though it was distance, Adi's distinct voice could be heard among the fellow members. Claudia climbed to her feet and ran to the gut wrenching sound slipping through the crowd of soldiers as best as she could.
Claudia came to the gory scene of the gypsy mourning over her fallen four-legged comrade. It's belly had been dissected along with its throat and she could only think who was responsible for this innocent animal's murder. The corpse was fresh now, but if Adi stayed there any longer she could become quiet ill from the fumes. Not to mention, the moist outside air was decaying the horse faster. The girl slowly walked up behind Adi and placed a soothing hand on her shoulder. She bent done next to the embellished dressed girl and said, "Word can not express this great loss, but Croix sure was a jolly horse. I wish I had the chance to know him. I'm thankful that he was by your side to protect you just as you were there for him." She looked down at the lifeless horse and respectfully closed its mystic brown eyes for it. There wasn't much she could do for Adi other than to let her cry herself dry. The gypsy has to get inside though because the freezing mud seeping through her dress was going to give her phenomena. "We can't stay here. Adi, please come with me." Claudia stood up and held out her hand waiting for the girl to choose hoping she wouldn't have to use force.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadowsPerfect song for this moment"Y-yes, I'm fine, how about everyone else" Nyru asked, his helm folding up to a circlet on his crown, his ruffled hair and dusty face searching for the rest of his team. It took the best of his strength to not squint too often as he searched the dark air, the ground was littered with corpses... and not all of them were meant to be dead. "Most of us survived..." Isabelle began, and Nyru could almost count how many had been lost, primarily Therians, but some were indeed corpses of Demon Hunters, and it was almost as if denial had not let him be overcome with emotion. Claudia was by herself still, and he did his best to look away from the bodies as he made his way over, but then she went a different direction. He followed her with his eyes, and before he saw anything, he heard Isabelle's gasp, and then he dreaded to know what he may see if he continued following Claudia. Then, in the distance, he saw one girl beside one larger, limp, body. Rur'Adika was there, she was doing talking, almost, he couldn't hear from here, but it was certain what had happened. "Croix..." Nyru murmered, almost feeling the loss in his legs. No one was as close to Croix as Adi, but he himself was a part of their circle, their team, he had always been there and without it really beings in the forefront of their intentions, they never understood what a loss he would be until he was gone... He saw her grasp something from around her neck, it was a necklace of some sort, he hadn't noticed it before, and she held it over Croix with it in her hand. By now he had stumbled over ever so closer, just enough to see her hand crush it, and hear a shattering sound scatter from her, and he could see her face buried in his mane, her body shaking with each tear that she shed. That was when he heard her cry, and like slow motion the world around him came into perspective, what they were doing, what they had always done, was dangerous - but Nyru had never, not really, ever witnessed the death of someone so close. What was honour and title when you battled a war for someone else? Like a weapon? This was a real war now, he was certain, but he wasn't sure if he could go on and let those around him lose people close to him. Claudia then approached the Gypsy, and by now Croix was far from alive. She offered her words of sorrow for Adi, and Nyru was anxious to know how Adi would reply, and even now, Claudia offered Adi a hand, they had to leave. It was almost like this place was cursed, but thinking to himself, what part of the Land of crows was not cursed any more? Nyru still couldn't speak, Isabelle took a step in thought, she knelt down and said "I... I'm sorry...". Nyru was still struck with shock, though, he still couldn't speak, he was right beside them now, he could see death right before him, the death of love, and everything that had happened before and anything that could happen after has stopped. "...She's right" Nyru finally managed, "The city is clear... the Therians can stay, but there is something-" Then that was when he heard the resounding echo of something in the distance, he saw the purple beam of dull light reaching up into the black clouds, barely reaching through. He knew it well, but never seen it in action, it meant that the City was in danger, it was controlled... but it was telling the Guildeam... this is a national threat. However that took no attention away from what Nyru felt for Adi right now, the others only looked at it with him for a moment, and it reminded him that they had to go... but he said, "... You can stay, though..." he swallowed, "You don't have to come... you can give him the burial he deserved... and you can stay safe... Whatever it is that's happening, please..." he then looked to Isabelle too, and he meant exactly the same to her, this was not her place, she was meant to be in Non-Magic Earth, he hated to think what would happen if anything happened to those two. He dare not say the same for Claudia... he already knew her answer.
The whole world went away as she cried into his dirtied mane; a mix of blood, mud and sweat form his struggle. Adi had never heard him cry out, never heard his nay of distress...not till it was too late that is. And by then her world was now falling out from under her. She couldn't think past all the memories that were flowing through her head; could barely breath past the hole and the power dull ache in her chest. Rur'Adika didn't care who was around her seeing her in such a state; so graceful and bright she was...and clearly she was truly not herself in that moment.
So grief stricken, Adi never felt the cold n** of the muddied water soaking into her boots and chilling her toes. Never noticed how the mud caked her dress and arms as she began to rock herself back and forth ever so slightly while holding Croix close. The gypsy didn't care of any of that it was easily dismissed if it was even acknowledged.
The distraught gypsy did hear Claudia approach though, her mournful and compassionate words said to her. She was wrong though, Adi hadn't protected him as he had her...or he wouldn't have been dead in her arms. When the archer offered her hand though even pleaded with her, still the gypsy did not move. Rather Adi shook her head clinging to Croix more if it was at all possible.
"I-I...can't. I can't leave him here..." her voice was raspy and horse; already the harsh cries and tears ruining her throat and honey words. Again Adi shook her head even as Nyru approached she never raised her head from her dear friend chestnut mane; still able to smell the hint of hay he had eaten and the earth he had rolled in. Her sword-wielding friend gave words of compassion as well but he instead offered her a choice.
This choice encouraged the young woman to raise her head from her horses mane and stare at him with puffy bloodshot eyes with a constant flow of tears from her eyes. Nyru would allow her to stay here, give him a barrel that Croix both deserved and was by way of her people required to be given.
"You'd let me stay?" she croaked out with pleading teary eyes. "Croix is all I have left of my homeland and people; I can't abandon him in the mud and filth. It wouldn't be right," she exclaimed only crying more as she spoke of the ceremony that had to happen for Croix to leave this plain peacefully and with honor into the next. "A gypsy is nothing without her horse....they are our friends, comrades and helpers...our lifeline. I have no way of getting back to you once you leave....I'm needed..."
Adi would be separated from them...the only people she had come to call friend in this strange dangerous and turbulent land. She was stretched between two different duties and both she felt value and importance in. Shaking her head she leaned over Croix again she had enough on her plate with his burial ceremony let alone thinking about helping the Land of Crows.
"Well, well....isn't this quiet the mess you've all made." Came a voice from a distance, though still carrying over to their ears as if standing over them. No one was there except a speckle of a blackness creeping through mid air to gradually drip down to the ground. The blackness opening up to become an empty bit of blackness but from it came a figure dressed in black that seemed to be one with that same darkness. This familiar voice and familair figure coming to stand not far from them, his hooded head turned about to take it all in. "Certianly cooked up a large mass of followers hasn't he..." he mused.
Adi's head shot up as that voice was finally placed. Where normally golden eyes would begin to glow, instead blackness started to creep in at the corner of her eyes. The gypsy expression viscious and venomous.
"You..." she seethed more furious then she had been before. Where golden light used to glow at her fingertips instead a crackling sound grew; a mix of static electricity and white noise. From around Adi's clenched fists dark matter seemed to martialize and as it crackled and lifted upwards as if lighter then air and floating up it gradually disappeared. In her wings as well in their white beauty and solid feathers now a tint of black began to paint their tips. "DORIAN!"
A chuckle left the figure and the man pushed its hood back sure enough showing the young face of Zoltan's once apprentice. "Hello Gypsy...long time no see. This wouldn't happen to be bad timing would it?" he mused but his dark smirk was clear that Dorian did not care.
☽━━☆━━☾ Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place, you could tell how we felt from the look on our faces. We were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes. No room left to move in between you and I. Our voices rang like the angels sing. We forgot where we were and we lost track of time, And we sang to the wind as we danced through the night. And we danced on into the night!

Claudia Vesslia Claudia didn't even notice Nyru's footsteps slap against the muddy earth as he produced her. She was so distraught over her friend's sorrow that she didn't heard the terrible of his armored body. Furthermore, if she had come earlier, she would have advised Adi not to shatter the garnet in her delicate hand. For one, it could have had a connection to the horses life and by destroying it she put Croix out of mystery herself. It could have been a coincidence too for all she knew. Second, the sharp fragments cut into her ivory skin causing her to bleed, but not as severe as her companion. Her raven hair cascaded over her shoulders and covered her blood shot hazel eyes along with her fluttered face. Who could blame the girl for rejecting her princess like role as the light wielder of hope? She had bitten into the apple of disrepair as she buried her face into the horses coarse, dirty mane. Nyru's breathless reaction behind her meant that if he saw another corpse, he would be dragged off to the asylum. Isabelle wasn't far behind the mayhem and knelt down croaking out her most sincere apologies. Death had surrounded the heroes, and this time no victory bells or praises from the queen would be noted.
Although, Claudia did her best to convince the gypsy to leave and find shelter she refused. Not once did she lift her head and looking into Claudia's worried, black ringed eyes. The girl was at the end of her rope, so to speak, and she didn't want to use violent means in order to protect the traveler. Suddenly, sirens whistled through the air and a purple beam shot up in the distance in the south. The Land of Crows was under attack, and through she was exhausted the two still had a reputation to uphold. Plus, Declesia is fighting this unknown disturbance by herself and could be in grave danger. Claudia adverted her eyes from the call and looked to her partner whom was focused on Adi. It was in his nature to make sure she was going to be alright with their absence, and at least Isabelle was willing to stay. The two females had each other and that was good enough secure for her. Nyru, with his words of compassion and heart of golden, gave the young woman a choice to stay and have a proper funnel.
Claudia couldn't deny his generosity and stepped aside for Adi to speak to him personally. Her emerald eyes drifted over to the causalities and she wondered what she could have done to preserve their futures. The Therians howled to the fog concealed moon as an atonement to their fallen members and began to line the bodies up. Charles was among the company doing his part even though his princely hands should be soiled. He is truly a malevolent king that respects his subjects and is willing to participate in a war for them.
Adi finished up her end of the contact which basically stated that she couldn't come to their aid if they needed her because she was going to be busy here. Understandable terms, her and Nyru could fair on their own knowing that they have done it before and they can do it again. He wouldn't dare ask her to stay behind because she would refuse and follow him anyway. But the journey for the two would have to wait because they had an unexpected visitor disguised in black. she had heard that sly voice and attitude before but for some reason couldn't put her finger on it. That didn't stop her from draw an arrow out of instinct. She thought her was another cultist, but she was sure she saw all of them fled due to their fallen leader. This battle isn't hers, its the gypsy's and she knew it because of the hated in her voice. The light wield abandoned the light and accepted darkness into her freezing heart. Her golden eyes were doused with darkness and her wings took of a crippled black form, from the static that she summoned, and this chilled Claudia to the bone.
The man continued to taunt her and in the processes pulled his hood back to reveal his identity. There was no mistaking that transparent white veiny skin; it was Zoltan's apprentice, Dorian. So he survived all this time and within that time has probably attempted to resurrect his master like he claimed he would. Well, Zoltan isn't here so she could say that his efforts weren't a success but she had her doubts. Claudia swallowed her pride seeing that this vengeful person in front of her wasn't Adi and she needed some sense talked into her. "Adi, I know you're angry but please trust me when I say stand down. What do you want here, Dorian?" she asked, pulling the twine on her bow taut with an arrow ready to fly.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
((OH MY GOD i just had some thoughts. So, no one actually knows Zoltan was ressurected do they? Oh dear, these guys are gonna be in for a shock when they defeat Lucifial... BUT.... what OH MY GOODNESS DORIAN IS EVIL. Nemo, if he's going to make sure Lucifial dies so we can bring back someone just as bad im going to punch Dorian in the face crying So many possibilities, i don't like it, WHY IS HE HERE))
Adi had responsibilities... as they all did, but hers was much deeper than that. She was part of a much older culture in some ways, they had much deeper meanings, and now all that she had to tether herself to it was gone. He listened with pain as he observed the young lady balance her options, both with equally good or worse outcomes. Does she abandon what she has, and try to protect those she now has, or do the right thing and leave... leave them to an uncertain future?
He hated to watch her make this choice...- But there was a voice, Nyru's shaken body glared over towards one of the streets, and there was an ominous black figure there. He came in close, only slightly, and the dull moonlight slowly made his figure more visible, he looked just like one of the cultists and it made Nyru nervous enough to grab his weapon. But that voice, he knew it... it was at the back of his mind, somewhere deep and far behind, he couldn't put a face to it. Then Adi's head shot up,and he spoke more, Nyru still couldn't remember him, but hated how calm this guy was about what he's watched... with amusement.
And then she called his name, his name. This man was none other than the apprentice of one of the worst men to walk the world, it was Dorian. Nyru's heart pounded, his pulled his blade from his side and wielded it high in front of him, his teeth grinding with rage. Claudia tried to reason with Adi's rage, trying to calm her but Nyru knew it would be to no avail, as he watced Adi... transform... he was filled with disbelief and was very certain that the grief would soon be exploding. "What's going on?" Isabelle sharply asked Nyru, holding her hands out ready to attack whilst double-taking between the mystery man and Nyru, Nyru coul only mutter "Remember that thing that no one besides us can" she nodded. "He's the one that got away" he hissed, "You're dead Dorian!!!" Nyru shouted as the man pulled down his hood revealing a sinister, uncaring smirk. "You'll never win! We killed Zoltana nd we'll sure as Hell make you end the same way!"
Excuse the pun, for Hell, was very, very real right now.
Above the darkness and the shame Above the torture and the pain Above the ridicule and hate Above the binding of our fate When it started All we wanted was a chance to live our lives Now in darkness Taking everything we want and we will rise

The surprise that came from the two others was certainly surprising; it had taken them far longer to recognize him. Course that hadn't completely surprised the once apprentice either. He had been far more focused on the gypsy after all after the interest his Master had put into the woman. Even now the green beast of jealous reared its ugly head, but Dorian hid behind a Cheshire grin. It was the swordsmen's words that made him chuckle outwardly; for multiple things. "My dear gypsy, you never told them I see..." he droned eyeing the weeping woman and seething with a dark rage. Adi herself barely registered Claudia's words. Rather she stood from her kneel, clenched fists crackling with dark essence materializing from her hands. The darkness in her feathers seeping further till each feather was half ebony and the other half ivory. The gypsy was very clearly furious at the young man standing so proudly and confidently before her. "Shut your mouth, insufferable swine!" she snapped. Dorian fawned surprise and hurt; a hand over his chest where his black heart was. "Oh dear...such foul words; so much for a creature of heavenly justice. I see the Prince has left his mark upon your soul...and there's no snuffing that out."The shock that Adi felt at being called out about a well kept secret rocked her and she relaxed for a moment as she stood there. Her world still falling around her the longer she stood there. Dorain seeing he has successfully rendered the irritaiton silent for the moment looked to Nyru as he gave him death threats and warnings with the word of Hell on his lips. Again he chuckled. "Hell...you certainly have that right little swordsmen. You're only partly right in some of your assumptions; Zoltan is not dead...well...not really. Neither am I going to divulge that information as it is far too complicated for your simply minds. However....Hell, poor choice of words, Nyru Statem...Hell is has just been unleashed upon your world." Casually Dorian walked among the corpses, not quiet straight at them them but as if he was walking to examine further of the corpses around him as his eyes were on the ground. "I am not here to fight...but rather aid believe it or not. We have a mutual enemy; enemy of my enemy is my friend I believe is how the saying goes."Dissapearing form the spot as if by a mere blink of the eye, Dorian quickly appeared before them all, barely outside of Nyru's sword length. With a brow raised and hands up in surrender he smirked at them. "Care to listen to what I have to say, or are we going to go straight into the unpleasantness?"Adi couldn't believe her ears, Dorian wanting to be an alley; it had to be a trap of some kind...some sort of evil plot of the apprentice. "Lies! You can't possibly think we'd agree to this?!" she snapped stepping forward and around her fallen horse, using her anger at Dorian as a distraction against the pain and hurt inside her. "You can't be trusted.""Against your new enemy is that a risk you're willing to take?" he droned a far more serious tone in his voice. Adi glared but managed to muster up a few more words to form a question. 'Who's the enemy?"Dorian's smirk formed into a full smile of glee as his black eyes sparkled. "Lucifiel himself of course; the King and ruler of Hell."◑__________________●__________________◐
