Venaith gave a bemused warble. Well thank you. We have already returned one egg to the safety of it's mother's claws. We are hoping with the combined efforts of those around the weyr that we may save them all before any come to harm from their unorthodox treatment. But Wyleth, how are you yourself?

Paige shook her head. "Please. I get enough formality from Venaith!" She was much more relaxed around someone her own rank. "I'm grand! Venaith and I found an egg in the candidate barracks. We came here to poke around the stands though."

Koioth simply turned her head to eyeball the young gold. As long as Mine has a fair shot in looking for an egg, I have no complaints. The dark green considered then added, I am Koioth. A second youngester joined the first. Young and smaller, she felt they would have a better chance of not stepping on an egg, if they could concentrate long enough.

Lathis heard the voices of more people entering. She saw the young dragons and realized they were weyrlings. "Hiya!" She waved to Paige and Wen from the Stands. Lathis moved forward to continue her search.

"I don't know why we have to help this stupid gold find her eggs anyway.." P'lias grumbled, although he had been more than willing to help look when Helioth had informed him of the trouble. He just like complaining. P'lias entered the hatching sands, while Helioth came to meet him on the ledges. It was weird being back here after so long. He glanced into Stands where he'd impressed. "Sure brings back memories, huh?" he said softly. But Helioth was right to business;

I will search from above, P'lias. But you must look for eggs that are buried in the sand.
Right, right..

The sands were already swarming with riders looking for the eggs. He watched a clutchmate of his leaving with one she had already found. The rest of them he didn't know, but several of their small dragons implied they were from the most recent clutch. With a slight jumped, he grabbed the edge and peered into the Stands, curiously.

"Can I.. help anyone look?" he asked, more to announce his presence. He figured this work best if it was a coordinated effort. It'd be pointless for him to search places people had already looked. Hopefully someone could tell him where he'd be most helpful.

"Oh, uh, sure thanks..." he muttered to Wen, waving as he left. P'lias had been a rider now for some turns now, but there seemed to be not lack of candidates and weyrlings who were older than him. Although, he was a little more age conscious than most, so he was probably the only one who noticed. Still, he always found that weird.

"Uhh.. I dunno. Where have people already looked?" he asked, climbing up into the Stands, and deciding to start his search there. He didn't think many people would have thought to look there.
Since P'lias seemed to be ignoring his previous advice, Helioth turned to Wyleth instead,
Would you look for eggs that are burried in the sands? I will search from above.

Helioth rumbled in amusement, bending his head down towards the smaller dragon. Then my guess is you will have less luck. I doubt you will find any snacks here. He lifted his head, and looked around the ledges. That is a thought. But was it not a human who had stolen the eggs? They would need a dragon to reach here, and that would likely draw attention. But it was a good thought. Or perhaps he was joking? Helioth was never good at telling.

P'lias continued climbing up the Stands. glancing along the row of seats. He could still pick out the one where Helioth had clawed his way towards him some three turns ago.

"Oh, uh, sure thing!" he responded, a little startled as he hadn't seen her there. He didn't recognize the girl, but her knots said weyrling. Was she from the most recent clutch too?

Paige looked up as Wyleth took off. where's he going?

To meet up with his. He's in the baracks.

I don't think we're going to find any here. Let's go check outside!

Paige waved back to P'lias. "We're going to look outside!"
