Getting beaten by a fresh-from-the-pod trainee had been a kick to the face for Hanna. She knew she was rusty; she didn't realize she was that old creepy skateboard left behind in the attic next to the clown doll in the bowler hat during the opening credits of Are You Afraid of the Dark? So there were a couple reasons she decided to come out for this meet-n-greet: (1) goddamn, she sucked and (2) Bix was a super decent guy.
That day, she was wearing pretty standard garb for a girl who had facial tattoos that looked like black tears on her face. So intense. It was a garnet pleated skirt with full black tights and a corset-style top with lace-up boots. Because, you know, practical?
A few familiar faces were gathered -- Peyton and Bix, for one. She neglected a wave but instead offered a smile. Cami was there too. Oh hey, maybe this wasn't so bad? Hanna also dimly recognized a few faces from the day in a gymnasium -- the day that had been a hallucination. She opted to hang to the outskirts for the start. Her start date as a Hunter had been before most of these people, and yet she was no better than any of them. It was a hard pill for her to swallow. She was still trying. Every day.
For now, she would hang back until things got rolling. It felt safest (for her ego). Idly, she tapped at her totem: twin bone earrings that hung in her earlobes. Nervous habit.

Bix grinned, "Ohhhhhh shiiiit."
He started to point at Stormy and bounce on his toes, "Now you got her goin!"
So he did remember! The asian trainee slightly opened her mouth in surprise. "You remember me? Nice to see you again~ Are you the organizer of this meeting?" She beamed in happiness that the nice sunny hunter remembered her and greeted her warmly. "Do you want some snacks?" She turned her pouch to the front, grabbed out someexoticcandies and scooped up within her small hands. The girl smiled and waited, but her intention was clear.
For the new comers, they may see a tiny girl smiling wearing a chinese tiger hood.

Belted out a new comer, tilting his head back to sing loud and clear with a small ‘dance’ to go with it as he approached, arms spread wide in enthusiasm.
His grin was almost manic and he sidled up to stand next to Cami, who might have known from her previous brief encounter with him that ‘sanity’ for Jasper was perhaps… questionable. Or at the very least enthusiasm was on constant ‘overflow’ mode.

Got her going indeed. The petite Mist brightened even more as someone answered, pivoting on a heel to point at the newest addition to the group.
"Kicking and a scratching Grinding out my best!"
(Honestly it was a pretty good song choice for any new hunter to participate in. This was a valid team bonding exercise!)

Nora started backing away a little, nearly bumped into Hannah while doing so, then excused herself. "Just in case it's contagious," she cited. "Blimey, I was told this was paramilitary, not college. You fresh out, too?"
Speaking of odd things, looked like another trainee had brought sweets of some sort. Nora's nose twitched, as did Beatrix's in her head. "What's this?" she asked, eyeing both the cache and the girl's choice of clothes curiously.

"I've made a grave and terrible mistake," Chris declared, looking highly upset as he watched the hunters around him begin to break out in musical numbers. He wasn't literally trying to star in the next HSM movie. "Can we rewind and start over? With less harmonizing this time?"
Bix clapped and laughed, raising his voice above the singing to get everyone's attention. He didn't want to ruin anyone's fun but the Sun was a little nervous about heading up the large group and didn't want to lose control so soon. The idea was a good one but in practice, he eternally doubted his own ability to lead.
"I didn't plan on opening with a musical number but thanks guys. Maybe if you are lucky we can wrap up the day with me doing some improvisational dance." He was like an awards show host with terrible gags. Pull it together Bix!
The pale man coughed awkwardly, "I'm Bix. I'm a full rank Sun division hunter specializing in ranged tactics." You half expected him to tack 'boys and girls' at the end of his statements like Mr. Rogers, but slowly the man seemed to get more comfortable speaking.
"So basically we've had a minor influx of new trainees. This place is a bit sink or swim," his smile flickered a moment, "so as someone whose job it is to stand at the front lines, I just want to give you guys a crash course and be sure that you're all well equipped and ready." Because if he was going to crack heads for some of you, you best be worth saving.
"So um anyway... I've been here 3 years almost," everyone always asked, "so feel free to ask me anything."

Dakota had only noticed the group because well...it was a group. And most of it contained Sun hunters. Which in itself should remind him to stay away but...
"Hey my blindingly white friend of the sun division..." Dakota shielded his eyes as if Bix really did blind him, "What're you doing?"

On the other hand, Noemi was only in the group and very quietly because Bix was doing a tour...And tours were HELPFUL for survival from all hunters viewpoints.. She quietly stayed on the outer group of hunters.
A 3-year experience hunter senpai, wow, she didn't expect the hunter with beautiful skin was a skillful one. She suddenly had so many questions in mind to ask, but they didn't line up in order, so no one question ran into the lead. The tiny girl was a bit sad no one came to get the candies she especially brought for this meeting, maybe Robert will appreciate them, she sent a quick text message.

Then, she focused to listen to Bix again, and finally organized her mind to ask a question while she raised her hand. "I-I want to know what types of mission and duties we do normally?" Though she really wanted to ask why no one took her candies, as she put them back into her pouch.
Hanna allowed herself to be distracted by her phone between bouts of scoping out the crowd when another girl nearly bumped into her. She was cool about it though, which the redhead appreciated. Quirking a smile, Hanna shifted her phone back into the pocket on the inside of her Death Hunter jacket. She wore it a lot lately; it reminded her she belonged here.
"This appears to be the safe zone from musicals," she said, nodding sagely. Hanna had seen all of the High School Musicals, even the far inferior later ones, but she was not exactly a fan. More of a spectator, like one might observe lions hunting on the savannah. That Disney-shined version of life had never been what she felt drawn to, even if it was entertaining. Give her dark villains with messy endings, yespleasethankyou.
"Fresh something," Hanna added. "I, uh, actually joined Deus at the same time as Bix," she gestured toward him, "but was repodded for... well, for two and a half years. ANYWAY -- there's candy over there?" Change subject, nothing to see here, keep it moving.
Oh, except -- "What was your name? I don't think we've met."

Nora took the time to appreciate such a lengthy nap with a blank look and a flat, "Sorry?" What sort of place was this? No, wait, nevermind; she'd find out later through this tour no doubt. Really, should she be questioning stasis pods when there was a nightmare creature in her head existing at the same time?
(And what was with these names? First her cousin told her about a "Stormy", and now one of her superiors was a "Bix"? Maybe her previous cult theory wasn't too far off.)
Blinking, she moved past her initial surprise and held out a hand to shake. "Sounds like a story for another time. Well met, Hanna. Const--Er, Nora Ravensgrove. Sun if you couldn't tell by the coat," she greeted. "Woke up a little over a week ago, not sure how long I've been out before that." Normally she'd be spitfiring questions, but the social atmosphere made her . . . less inclined to come off as pushy for a first impression. Bix was saved for the moment, though once the tour got started, she'd probably end up with a million to gattlegun out.
"Candy, eh? Wouldn't mind a nibble myself while we're out here. 'Scuse me!" Nora called to the girl. "Mind showin' us your sweets, kid? Something smells good."
The much shorter girl was distracted when another taller girl approached her. Yes. She has sweets. She beamed at the girl happily while grabbing a small amount from her pouch again. "Chocolate! Different flavours! Want some?" She looked at the girl with her watery puppy? kitty? eyes, whatever. "I have strawberry, coffee, salt, banana, cheese." She paused and had another puppy eyes.
<.......> Z didn't want to comment on that, why he had such a bad luck on his hunter.
