Louis once again didn't take the opportunity to attack the female pokemon. Cade made a mental note to see if there was a why to get the Psyduck to be immune to such status effects in the future.

Houri stopped singing for a moment and danced a bit at the male bird. It wouldn't be very good if he got over his crush and attacked her.

Cade's looked up to see Louis blinking and looking a bit confused but other wise not in love with the Torchic. "Louis! Quick use disable!" He called and the Psyduck did as he was asked.

Houri huffed and sent a glare at the human. He was awful. First tying to drown her with water moves, which the psyduck was smart enough to ignore and now preventing her from charming the other. She did however have a song to finish so she began to sing the final part.

Louis wasn't sure how he felt. On one wing the Torchic had just flirted to win, on the other, she was still pretty.... "Louis, hypnosis!" The Psyduck perked up when Cade called out then started to wave his wings around with his eyes glowing.

Houri danced with the other bird, because that appeared to be what he was doing as he crazily waved his arms and his eyes where glowing which was weird but whatever she could deal with it. Clearly a dance needed music so she started to sing once again.

Cade was pretty sure that Louis was not going to win this seeing how the water fowl was rather wobbly on his feet now. "Aqua Tail." He called out. At least they could do SOME damage before losing right? Louis reluctantly twirled and let loose a jet of water in the shape of his tail.

Houri gasped as the other threw water in her face. Her precious feathers where soaking wet, all out of place and even one of the flowers she had been gifted where ruined by the blast of water. How dare he. Louis had seriously ruffled her feathers, in fact they where puffing up in anger. She held out one of her wings, and then slapped him across the face with it.

Louis had given her an apologetic look after his attack. Didn't stop him from getting slapped and he keeled over in a faint. Cade sighed and recalled the Psyduck, giving a nod to the Torchic's trainer.

Apologetic look or not Houri was still furious over the water attack, and seeing that she had won the battle she took some time to flight up her internal flame higher than normal to speed up the drying process, and then preened her feathers back into place. Once that was done she removed the flowers and inspected them. Throwing away the one that had gotten destroyed she slid the others back into place and wandered gracefully over to her trainer.
Vana curtsied to the other trainer and picked up the torchick before heading out of the stadium. "Good job Houri!" She chirped cheerfully.
