Viveka allowed himself to simmer down enough to enjoy the nuzzling of his partner's hair, and pursed his lips as Natsu presented his case again. A surrogate, just for Natsu, with his approval? It sounded... Reasonable, actually. The ice man gave a sigh, and nodded.
"I.. I'll agree to that." He said, blushing. "But I would like to caution you, again, that not everyone will be open to this. I don't want you just running around asking anybody, you could get beaten up or humiliated! You know I wouldn't be able to save you from that."
He leaned forward and gave Natsu a kiss upon his pumpkin colored locks.
"It would be, sweetheart, I'm not denying that." He said, rolling his eyes. "I just hope you know that it won't happen overnight."

Natsu's face lit up at Viveka's reaction, and quickly burst into laughter.
"Baby, if it could've happened overnight, we'd have, like, ten kids by now." He cackled, kissing Viveka upon the cheek. "But, seriously, it would be okay with you if I found a lady and asked her to be my surrogate for us? Just making sure you heard me right."

Viveka's face twisted into a mixture of amusement and embarrassment as Natsu laughed. He gave his song bird a pinch on the cheek before reciprocating the kiss, a chuckle escaping his lips as they parted.
"Dear Bergchi, TEN? Natsu, we can barely fit ten friends in a tent! How do you expect us to fit ten children in?" He said, shaking his head. "...And yes, yes, I meant what I said. You can pick a surrogate for yourself, just as long as I'm included, that's fine."

Natsu continued to laugh and nestled himself further into Viveka's chest as he chatted on. A soft blush lighted his cheeks as Viveka finished speaking, as if the weight of what he was saying he would do was catching up to him, until a shiver ran up his spine.
"Maybe we should talk about this over a cup of hot tea." He suggested, pointing back over to the sea. "The sun's gone down and it's going to get chiller..."
Then, he winked.
"And we can snuggle afterwards, for added warmth." He teased.

Viveka blushed and gave Natsu a playful smirk. Tea and snuggles? After their first real disagreement? Natsu sure knew how to butter him up...
"Alright, just hold on one sec." He said, scooping Natsu up into his arms. "I've been lifting a lot of heavy stone lately and I've always wanted to scoop you up like this. Let me carry you back to the house, you silly shivering Bard."

"Oh, you're so strong!" Natsu exclaimed, raising his hand to his forehead dramatically. "Do whisk me away, my prince, for I fear I may soon wither from lack of heat and cuddles if I stay upon this beach a moment longer!"
The pair shared a laugh and another kiss as Viveka carried Natsu back to the house, where the voices of their family members eagerly greeted them.
