Failyn had never come to a meeting of...well anyone in their civilian forms. Hell, she barely knew any of the senshi or knights anyways. Pale white hair was pulled up, her crystal academy uniform neatly pressed and very polite but distant smile graced her cheeks.
She wasn't sure where to go, but thankfully she brought her homework and books to spend time on, until the training actually begin.
She wouldn't like to think of it as being shy, but politely not interrupting conversations that others were having.

Luca was, all things considered, pretty hyped for this Order Boot Camp thing. She considered herself relatively strong physically (her kickboxing classes helped with that), but any opportunity to get stronger was great. Also, other senshi would be here, presumably. She could gather information and perhaps find a buddy for herself so she wasn't constantly flailing around. She had met a few senshi prior to this moment, of course, but to be around a decent-sized group of senshi exclusively? That would be pretty cool.
Taking a look around, she noticed two people with staff badges right off the bat, approaching the purple-haired girl first. "Hi! This is the place, right? The place where the training is happening." She wasn't exactly sure how confidential this event was or how vague to be about it if she'd stumbled into the wrong place. "We haven't started yet, have we?"
"Hiya!" chimed Keren, waving Luca and Failyn over to the registration table. With everyone in their civilian forms, she couldn't know which of these attendees she'd personally recruited, but she was excited to see so many people turning up either way. "Nope, you're right on time. We're starting at ten - so if you could go ahead and both of you sign in?"
She held out the clipboard and pen, to see who would take it first. "Name, phone number, email, and superhero identity on the next open line," she instructed. "We'd really prefer your actual codenames, but as you can see, people are having a bit of fun with it, and it's not like we can force you to disclose your identity."
So, like, she'd understand why people were putting down things like Superman, but she wouldn't enjoy it.
"My name's Keren, the redhead playing drill sergeant is Kaatje, and if you go mill around, we'll get started in...." She checked her watch. "About fifteen minutes. Okay?"

Luca, being the go-getter that she was, took the clipboard first and filled it out neatly. Name: Luca Krantz. Phone Number: [Her actual phone number.] E-mail address: maidenoffuero@[e-mail provider].com. Unlike quite a few people who had already signed up so far, it never even occurred to her that she shouldn't put her real codename on the sheet. They had to identify her somehow, after all. Identity: Sailor Megrez, Senshi of Eggs.
After double-checking to make sure she had filled everything out, she held the clipboard out to Failyn. "Your turn!"
Following Keren's "instructions," Luca wandered off to check out the other people who were present. Presumably, they were all senshi, and presumably again, they were probably more powerful than her. Best to be as pleasant as possible and not invoke the ire of someone who could splatter her. Of course, she doubted the people running the event would let that happen, but being around so much potential power was just a teensy bit overwhelming and awesome at the same time.
Failyn blinked as the clipboard was handed over by Luca. She couldn't file names away and didn't know all those that filled out anyways, as she knew somewhere underneath the civilian was a powered. But this seem to be a trust exercise for those of order.
She studied her handwriting, and deeming it presentable, handed it over to Keren. "Fifteen minutes you said." Fai smiled, "Pleasure to meet you Keren. I look forward to what you can teach me." She followed after Luca to the crowd but again stayed the outskirts. It wasn't shyness, it was impolite to barge in conversations already happening.

Jeanne slipped onto the field, kitted out - or at least, she felt pretty kitted out for proper training. Her hair was done up and out of the way, her clothes were loose and comfortable, and she walked with the certainty that she was well and prepared. Sure, it had taken a visit to her planet to get her head appropriately on straight, but now she was ready to be the best soldier in Order's army that she could be.
She walked up to the table, and filled out the form presented.
Name: Jeanne Boucher Phone Number: 340-094-5830 Email Address: lady_of_khorne@gmail.com Justice League Secret Identity: Xena, Warrior Princess Penthesilea of War
Ash watched each person that came with wide green eyes, an excited expression on her face and evident in the way her tail flicked back and forth. People were starting to trickle in and each one meant another hub added to her network.
Something she noticed though... a little problem people were having coughing up their powered identities. One on paw, it was good to know who was who. On the other, that paper represented a very, very power weapon in the wrong hands. It was a liability that far outweighed whatever benefit would be gained from having it. Finally decided, the burmilla rose and trotted over to the girl behind the table, reaching out a paw wrapped in medical gauze to pat at her.
"Hey! I had an idea, darling." Taking a step back, she did an odd little twist and something dropped to bounce on the table between the pair. The object... looked an awful lot like a senshi phone. Ash put a paw on it and pushed it towards the young woman. "This phone, like most, can take pictures and enter contact information. UNLIKE most phones, however... its mine."
The cat got a rather satisfied look on her face as she settled back to sit. "If our friends are worried about security, I can assure you... there are few places to record information that are more secure than my phone. And an added benefit... senshi information will automatically populate, since they should already be recorded in the senshi database."
And to top it all off... Ash would get entries in her personal index with very little effort. Win win, right?
"If you like, I can make this list accessible to your senshi phones when I'm not around to lend you mine."

"No," said Kaatje, "no stories. She mentioned you as someone who could give me a run-down on what I missed while I was off learning to reassemble airplanes." Which, well, it was a little... okay, she wasn't really telling the truth, Tallulah had also gone a little bit into Paris's politics as a senshi, and that was enough to tell Kaatje that in no universe would Gunn and Ganymede ever jive. Their goals were too different, to say nothing at all about their methodologies. Maybe someday if Paris ever gave some thought as to what pacifism was really buying for the people she was trying to protect, they might be able to work alongside each other. Until then, Kaatje would... do her best. She knew how to talk around things that might make people uncomfortable.
She nodded, solemnly. "Sounds like you're going to be fine," she said. "Remember to pace yourself."
Kaatje excused herself to pay the contractors, and then to get them to help Marcella with her gatorade things. "I don't think a bunch of these would be much use to you," she said, tipping her head towards the senshi. "It looks like a bunch of... you know, newbies. So these guy's'll help you out and be back later, yeah?" The main contractor nodded, and she patted him on the back before heading back to the platform.
"Don't worry about it, Jacobs," she said, "we're going to warm up as a group. You stretch wrong and you're going to sprain something. Believe me, I've done it." To the elder Jacobs, she said, "Great. We hopefully won't need any of it, but do what you have to do to get set. Hopefully our biggest problem will be dehydration."
As people moved past Keren, Kaatje looked them over--if any of them had come in jeans, she would've sent them home, but she didn't see anyone, and that was all for the best. "C'mon over," she said, waving to Failyn and Luca, then to Jeanne. "We're going to get started in about ten minutes, so let's all try to establish some space. If you put out your arms and can come close to touching the people nearest you's fingertips, you are wrong, and need to move further away."
Tallulah couldn't say no to what Kaatje pitched to her as quote-unquote, Senshi Boot Camp. Team building exercises were always what she considered a good time, and she' been longing for something fun and low-stress for weeks. (Although, knowing Kaatje, low-stress might have been too much to ask for.)
Upon arrival, Tallulah filled out the sign in sheet, writing, Kaatje, you know me in the Justice League of America Codename column. This did not seem to please the girl manning the registration table (Megiddo? she wondered), but seeing as about half the other people on the list hadn't taken it seriously either, Tallulah breezed past and out onto the field. She supposed she'd arrived too late to really mingle - but at least she was on time!
"Hey, Kaat!" she called, jogging over to the platform. "Paris! Lily! Hi!"
What a great turnout, she thought.

Finn was cutting it close to the line, but he thought he had a good reason. There'd been some kind of emergency over at the store that, apparently, only he could solve - it had involved seven boxes of ski boots, a kayak, and a wetsuit. By the time he'd gotten things solved, there'd been barely any time to change into his athletic gear and race to the DCU stadium - but! He'd made it, and that was really all that mattered.
He signed in as Knightlight, because hey, why not, and headed out onto the field, where he milled around awkwardly with the assembled group of senshi. So, like, he was here? And now what?

Rhiannon was sure this would be a bad idea the moment she crossed onto the field, eyeing the others who had already gathered around. She wore a pair of running shorts and a plain tee-shirt, a light-weight jacket over the back of her shoulders. Her long, pale blonde hair was braided to just past her shoulder, and then the rest hung loose, as always. With such long hair she didn’t really have the time or patience to work on complicated up-dos.
There was a moment in which she thought it was best to turn and walk away, but then she reminded herself that… if she wanted to take this… thing… whatever it was… seriously, then she needed to start acting that way.
Quietly, she approached the rest of the group, but she didn’t make eye contact with anyone, because that would mean they might try to talk to her. She just wanted to do what she had to and maybe she would learn not to get killed. Or at least she would have it in her mind that she wouldn’t be killed as easily.

Kinley sprinted onto the field in long, graceful bounds. She'd almost been late because she'd gotten distracted early taking pictures around the city. Pulling her hair up and off her face, she looked around and beelined for the sign in table. "I'm so sorry I'm late." Not only was she new to being a Senshi, but she was late too? Oh man, she could not be making a good impression right now!
Quick as she could, she filled out the sheet in front of her.
Name: Kinley Fitzgerald Email: Kfitz13@gmail.com Phone: XXX.XXX.XXXX Justice League Code Name: Celaeno, Senshi of Ribbons
She was hesitant to put her real name. Maia had said this would be a secure thing, but she'd also been told to keep her identities very private because if it got out, it would be a very bad thing.
Glancing around again, she noticed everyone out on the field, spread out. That looked like the place to be. As she looked around, she noticed a girl who looked kind of like Maia. Was that her, just powered down? She made a note to ask if she got a chance later. She also spotted Paris by her bright blonde curls across the field. She was a Senshi too?!? This was much bigger that she'd even imagined.
Kinley found a space far enough from everyone else and began to stretch. She was wearing tight, capri length yoga pants and a cute racer back work out shirt with her sneakers. It felt weird to be wearing actual shoes to work out with. Normally she was barefoot because her workouts only existed in the dance studio.

Thankfully, Luca had not come in jeans. She was a kickboxer (...of sorts), and she knew how to dress for workouts. She set her bag down a bit off to the side and wandered to where Kaatje was indicating. She held out her arms and spun around once, making sure that she had allowed herself enough space. That wording made her chuckle a bit inside: "If you put out your arms and can come close to touching the people nearest you's fingertips, you are wrong, and need to move further away." Not even "you're doing it wrong"- "you are wrong." Something about it was so blunt that Luca found it humorous for some reason.
"How's this?" Luca called out to Kaatje, rotating once again to face her, arms still held out. "Right place, right amount of space, right?" Though she was sure that, once more people took their positions, the amount of space would decrease (duh, but that wasn't the point) and people would probably end up just a wee bit too close sooner or later. She had been kicked in the face by someone who wasn't attentive during warmups for kickboxing once. It wasn't pleasant.
"Sup, Knightlight. Tallulah." Kaatje gave them a smile and hopped back up on the platform. The motion wasn't what one would call graceful, even generously. It was like the snap of a rubber band stretched too far. It was a good turnout, she thought; she counted, in a glance, at least ten. Not bad for a proof-of-concept outing. Just because this was a trial run didn't mean that she was going to go easily on everyone who'd turned out. She gestured to Keren, drawing her over. "You look good," she called to the other red-haired senshi. She didn't recognize her, which only meant that Keren had done the recruiting.
She checked her watch, and surveyed the group. 0958: As good a time to start as any, she supposed. "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! My name is Kaatje van der Weydin, also known as Eternal Sailor Gunn! You may not have heard of me." Even way back during the heyday of the Blood Moon, she'd not been as well-known as Ares. It seemed only Negaversers and the Dark Moon--those who had been around during Operation Rota, anyway--remembered her name. Well, she was going to fix that. It'd just take time.
"If you're here, it's because you want a helping hand with your combat abilities. That won't be all we address through these--" she made little air quotes with her fingers "--boot camps, but it's a nice easy start and a good way for you to evaluate what you need to work on in order to be the best senshi or knight you can be. That's only the first step on the long road to making sure that, firstly, you don't die a horrible bloody death or, worse, get corrupted. It's also the easiest step."
Kaatje rubbed her hands together. "Today, we're doing an Air Force physical training evaluation. This is a strenuous activity. If you have a health concern, tell someone in charge. That'd be me, Keren here, Dr. Jacobs, and Ms. Palomo. We'll keep an eye on you, make sure no one passes out or gets hurt. It happens! No shame in it."
She pointed to the Gatorade and water setups. "Keep hydrated. There will be breaks. Now, let's get warmed up while Keren shuffles you all up into pairs for PT. No static stretches; we're going to be moving. Hands on your hips, feet shoulder width apart, let's do knee lifts--fifteen of 'em. Ready--and--start."

For this round, please roll 1 10-sided die! Points go as follows: 1-3: Oww. For some reason, your character is feeling REALLY stiff today. 4-6: Okay. Yeah. Your character feels okay. 7-10: Man, knee lifts and torso twists are your character's DEAL.
The next post will go up on April 17th! Remember, if your stat is Teamwork, you're subtracting one point this round.
Tallulah hadn't been sure how she would hold up in the face of Kaatje's boot camp. After all, with her medical history, the actual Air Force would have told her not to let the door hit her on the way out. But she'd been working hard in physical therapy, and did her best to get a good night's sleep and come hydrated. The end result was that when Kaatje called the warm-up, Tallulah found herself breezing through it with ease - she could only hope she wasn't peaking too early and wearing herself out on the first exercise.

We're off to a good start!
Finn gets a 4
Finn was okay at the warm-up, he guessed, but he was pacing himself for later. Or, he told himself that, and hoped it was true.
Failyn shuffled to where her partner was, offering a polite smile at them and stretching a little.
"Good day." She nodded, "Are you ready for this?" She chuckled a little.
But since the girl was more focused on anything BUT working out, her squats and leg lifts were stiff and sor and wow was she really out of shape or something.
