Tallulah let out a sound of surprise as they were suddenly enveloped in a shadowy attack, something that confused him greatly. What in the world... what was going on? Something else was out there, wasn't it? He set to sniffing at the air, taking in a scent that was similar to Eyphah, but not spot on. It was something that led him to believe that it must be Diabi in nature... but why would a Diabi be here? Didn't they live on Soudul? His mind seemed to spin for a moment, trying to figure it out... when he suddenly remember the feast that he was sharing with Grrel. The two of them had a rather big feast, one that had been cooked, one that smelled delicious, meaning that the dragon could have easily been drawn in by those scents. Even if it were just flying by at a distance, on its way to... well, do whatever dragons did, it could have caught wind of their meal. Not good, the last thing that he wanted was for their tasty meal to draw in such dangers! His tail set to lashing from side to side as he gathered glittering, dark blue energy to himself. He knew that they wouldn't be able to chase to creature off, nor would they intimidate it. He knew a Diabi personally, knew that they were rather hardheaded, as well as arrogant, and if that applied to all of them, dragons included, they would need to defeat the dragon. It was really their only recourse. When he felt he had a sufficient amount of power gathered Tallulah cast his first spell, entangling the Diabi with several long tendrils of water. When the creature was entangle well enough, or at least what he hoped was well enough, he turned to Grrel, "Can you concentrate your lightning into one big bolt?" If she could blast the creature then maybe Tallulah himself wouldn't have to worry about being struck by any of it? He wasn't positive, but he could hope she was able to do so. He hadn't seen enough Kiandri fighting to know exactly what they were capable of though.

Grrel gave a growl of confirmation when she heard Tal's voice. A big bolt? That was easy! She shook the shock off and concentrated trying to find where the scent of Diabi was coming from. Gathering her magic, she wrapped it into a huge bolt and lashed out where the Diabi was. The crackle and rumble as it left her laws to flash out was loud enough to make her ears ring. The shadows lessened as the Dragon screamed its anger and struggled to rip out of the water bindings.

robot kitten Not so short post? LOL I figured we would be wanting to wrap it soon hence having Tallulah finish it off. Now they can enjoy their food in peace! lol ^_^ Upon being struck with the powerful blast of lightning the Diabi now had a strong burnt smell to it, one that made it a little easier to pin point exactly where it was despite their vision being hazy. He wasn't sure what sort of attack the Diabi had used on them, he wasn't used to their magic since Eyphah was more hands on then magically inclined. As such he could only hope it would fade, "Alright, I'm going in!" He said, summoning forth a few more water whips to tangle up the injured dragon before he charged forward, using the scent of the creature to help him to find it, attacking it when he was close enough. It took a few moments of clawing and biting to figure out what part of the dragon he was attacking... and from there the Merkora went for the throat, finding that it was always the most vulnerable area on any dragon. If one were to lock their jaws, hold time, and let the dragon flail about... well, they tended to do all the work. The way the dragon flailed added to the weight of the Merkora that was hanging off of him, it was enough to cause a lot of damage, up to and including causing the dragon to collapse to it's knees. The lightning to the chest, the tightening bound 'ropes' of water, and the Merkora hanging off the dragon's throat was enough to finish the creature off after a bit of struggle and flailing on its part. When it finally crumbled away Tallulah dropped to his feet and got splashed with all the water that had been used to ensnare the Diabi. He couldn't say that it wasn't welcome though, it had rinsed him clean of both blood and sand after all. He shook off, grasped around a moment, then grinned, "Oooo, hey! Grrel! There are Diabi Orbs here!" He said in an excited tone of voice, his tail swishing behind him in delight. With the dragon gone they also go a secondary 'prize' of sorts, that being that their vision started to return slowly but surely, something that Tallulah would celebrate once it was back completely. Not an expected battle, but a profitable one at least. Not to mention it would make dinner all that much more enjoyable now that they could celebrate getting their claws on some Diabi Orbs!

Orpheus Solon I'm trying to tie u all of Grrels fights so she can go do her Khehorian ritual again XD Just waiting on Jijikko's now :3 We shall have to have them meet again when they're both Khehorains! Grrel's tail swished happily when she heard Tal's voice. "Oh good! Orbs to go along with the dinner!" A bit of a shock that ambush had been, but it reminded her that she needed to keep a wary eye out at all times. I seem to get complacent when on Eowyn, she thought to herself, I must keep from doing that! After she finished eating and chatting with Tallulah, Grrel sighed and sat back. "I should head back into the desert and find someplace safe to rest before I go back to hunting more dragons." She stood up and stretched before waving farewell with her wing. "I'll run into you sometime hopefully!" With that she trotted off into the desert, knowing there would be some safe small caves nearby that she could hole up in if she needed to.

robot kitten Thanks for the battle/RP! It was fun! ^_^ Tallulah was only too happy to share the wonderful, fishy dinner with Grrel though he seemed to be trying to keep a better look out after the startling appearance of the Diabi dragon. They had gotten surprised by the dragon, as well as its power, and that wasn't something that he wanted to experience again. After that both of them were a bit more on edge, not wanting to chance such a thing happening again. Of course once they were on guard it didn't really seem to happen again. After a while of staying on sharp guard though Tallulah was able to relax a bit when nothing else happened, able to enjoy their tasty, ocean caught meal once more. After the pair had stuffed themselves, and after a nice conversation, it seemed that Grrel was on her way. She was going to return to the desert, return to hunting, something that caused him to smile, "Do be careful, Grrel!" He said, tail swishing a little behind him when she stood up, rising to his feet as well. He turned to watch her before he lifted up on his back feet, waving at her with a forefoot, "See you again soon, Grrel! Good luck with your hunts!" He called after her. Once she was out of sight he sat back down, turning to look at what was left of the food. He starred at it for a long moment, thoughtfully, then decided, "I should see about finding Eyphah and his clan." He murmured, that way the rest of the food wouldn't go to waste. With this thought in mind he stretched out all over, gave a bit of a smile, then headed on his way as well.
