The kick connected! Jeez, what a snake! Salem managed to get Hiro doubled over...but that's what Hiro wanted! He expected Salem Croft to do what he did! He expected a hard shot! He WANTED one! The Ethnic Enigma shot back up at the Champion with a hard left-handed Kane-esq uppercut, aimed right for the Copperhead's jaw!

Salem was primed for a follow-up, the crowd was pumped to see it, but just when it looked like the champ could capitalize, Hiro straightened up with a fierce uppercut to stagger "The Copperhead" back a step! His spine bending back a little, it looked as if the sudden shot had almost sent Salem off-balance, the crowd gasping 'Ooh!' at the sound of impact. But after rubbing his chin, Croft grinned and spat, turning back towards Hiro as a stain of saliva and blood stuck to the canvas, nearby. With a snap of his hand, Croft would retaliate with a European Uppercut of his own, the signature Snake Bite Strike!

Oh boyyyy! The Snake Bite Strike connected, and Hiro blatantly over sold it! He flew back a bit, rubbing his chin, keeping a close look on Salem. If the Champion came any closer, however, which he most likely would do, he would be met with Hiro signature....the Superkick! Right for his jaw!

Hiro made the vicious uppercut look all the more deadly with the way he stumbled back in response, Salem raising his hands to urge the audience up to their feet as they popped for the shot to the chin the challenger took. Looking to pour on the pain, Salem stepped forward with his arms extended, just as Hiro aimed his trademark superkick for Salem's face...
...But, the champion caught it! With the speed of a sidewinder and the smirk of a smartass, Salem snatched the heel of Hiro's boot just before it could make contact with Croft's chin, who had to flinch back a couple inches to prevent being decapitated by the maneuver. The contender to the world title wouldn't have the luxury of deliberating on what to do next, as the champ would twist the ankle to take Hiro off his feet and transition the hold into an ankle lock! If Hiro didn't make a break for the ropes quick, he might find himself tapping out at the center of the ring!

OHHHH NO! HIRO WAS THE MASTER OF LEG TORTURE HERE! Salem quickly locked the Cuban-Jap in an ankle lock, to which Hiro tried his best to flip onto his back and shove him away! What a friggen SNAKE!

Salem was struggling to keep his leverage on his larger adversary, but Hiro's size wasn't playing into the champion's favor as he sought to secure the ankle lock. As Hiro rolled, "The Copperhead" couldn't control the position any longer, finding himself thrust back towards the ropes by the man's kicking legs. Moving with the momentum, however, Salem slithered back quickly across the ring, initiating a baseball slide to try and double-stomp Hiro back out of the ring, under the bottom rope!

Salem's good thinking worked. He managed to get the challenger out under the bottom rope, and down to the ground right ny the curtain draped under the ring. The only reason the Cuban-Jap didnt go flying back any farther was because he had been holding the bottom rope originally, which helped him not go so far when kicked. He laid there with a hand under the ring, -almost- motionless.

With a spring to his step, Salem kipped up onto his feet and slapped his chest, a passionate jesture of excitement that amped up the crowd for what was next- a somersault over the ropes, aiming to land on his feet with a double-footed stomp to Hiro's chest!

While Salem played up the crowd a bit, Hiro was stirring. He began to stand, but he stayed bent down to make it look like he was still laying back first on the ground. He brought his hand out from under the ring...producing a chair. Salem took off running, and leaped over the top rope...and Hiro looked to counter with a huge steel chair shot to the Champion! The crowd was on fire!

Salem was fired up, but in his haste to make the highlight reel the champion was instead getting closer to the hospital ward as he came flying over the ropes, falling feet-first into the chair shot. Unable to fight against gravity, Salem's shins were struck by the unyielding steel, sending him tumbling head over heels into a faceplant on the padded concrete of ringside. The way Croft's head and limbs bounced off the stadium floor, it made many in the crowd gasp at the gruesome bump, wondering about The Copperhead's health as the fan-favorite struggled to crawl towards the announcers' table.

As the chair shot connected, the crowd out a thunderous "Ooooooh!" It rocked its way down the side streets and around the park, the sound bouncing off of everything. Hiro slowly got up, Salem starting to crawl to the table. The forced Hiro's hand, as he looked to slap the chair right onto the copperhead's back, looking to stop his slithering!

Salem was just starting to reach the table, barely getting a hand on the edge when a debilitating slap to his back sent the young champion flinching and writhing courtesy of the steel chair shot. Knowing he couldn't simply lie around and suffer the abuse, Salem took what strength he had and rolled painstakingly shoulder-over-shoulder, trying to put distance between him and Hiro by slithering underneath the table.

Hiro pulled back on the reigns just a little. The fans were cheering for some good old fashion steel-to-skin action, and Hiro liked the cheers his moves received. Not since his debut match in BBW had Hiro swung a chair, and it felt good to have a weapon once more. Salem started to slither beneath the table, and for a moment, Hiro let him...Until his legs were what were left still out. Just before Salem could pull his legs in under the table, Hiro brought the chair down, looking to slam it into the right knee of the Copperhead!

Salem was smart enough to know not to crawl away on his belly like a coward - "The Copperhead" instead slithered end-over-end to roll underneath the announcers' table, leaving little leg room for Hiro to stomp on as his foot fell against thin air and empty space...but much to the spectators' surprise, Salem would plant his feet up against the bottom of the table and push! Showcasing his impressive leg strength, Salem would try to flip the booth, monitors, headsets, and all, over onto the hunched Hiro in his hesitation!

Hiro wasnt quick enough to bring the chair down into Salem's leg, and within moments, the Champion was gone, underneath the table. Hiro did have enough time to straighten himself back up and face the table, but almost suddenly, the announcers table came at him like some strange car! Hiro had no clue how Salem could even possess leg strength like thus, but low and behold...he did, and he had no problem showing it off! The table was flipped into Hiro but perhaps didnt give Salem the intended result: it hit into Hiro, but it didnt roll on top of him, it hit him awkwardly in the lower area and left shin, sending him stumbling back. Hiro tripped as he stumbled, but got two hands on the ring post to help him stay on his feet. He took a few moments to rub his leg, hurting him a bit from the table striking it awkwardly. Hiro really wasnt too focused on Salem, his back turned to the table. What worried Hiro right now was his leg. His whole moveset was based around legs! This is awful!
