"The references during the raid..." Mimsy murmured, thinking aloud. "Oh! I would have failed to recognize that entirely, if you hadn't said something! I have a filthy tendency to miss the treacle for the jubjub ruts, as they say." She didn't elaborate on the 'they' there, as if it were something entirely normal. There was something much more important on her mind. "Destruction? That is a feasible theory...oh, I would love to find out! I have her book in my possession, in my previous existence, and have been working to collect the shards of the--" She gasped and put her hand over her mouth, eyes wide with astonishment. "The fragments. If our directive is to defeat the queens, collecting these fragments may not be our wisest option!" Wringing her hands together with worry, she turned to SANDSHARK and nodded once. "They were once powerful entities, in their own time. They are no less powerful now. They have even created rifts in space and time!" Shadowstep gave Mimsy a blank look. What the hell was a jubjub rut? What was she talking about? The next thing she said caught his attention. "You have the tome of Destruction?" he asked, somewhat astounded, "As in.. the actual ******** book?"Because as he recalled, the item of power for the Red Kingdom of Destruction from that one time long ago, was a bloody tome. He shook his head, furrowing his brow then turned to Sandshark. "I don't know if you were there when I mentioned the seven people in a coma a few years back, but one such artifact was the cause of that bloody mess," he explained to Sandshark. SANDHSARK gave Mimsy a curious look, crossing his arms. "Hmmm... so they were once living? That's a little disturbing. And you say they have that much power?" Turning to Shadowstep, he gave a quick few nods. "Ah, yes. I remember now. So you're saying what we encountered in the raid may have been a reference to these artifacts?"
He may have begun to formulate some small plot in his mind. How could he harness one of these incredibly powerful artifacts?

The look of concern became a smile, which grew wider and wider as she realized she had something more impressive than she had ever even considered. "Yes!" Mimsy was positively beaming by now. "I suppose that is what I have. It contains information on the destruction of many things, but I cannot really verify that it's the same. We'll have to assume, but be careful with that: it can carry you away at a whim, and you will be kilometers from where you began before you know it." She dipped her brush into the paint and set to work, just as Alice had, but they still had her attention. "Are you referring to the incident with the seven kingdoms? No--don't tell me. I never want to think of that again." She waved her hand in front of her as she objected. "I have not been informed of the reason why they transitioned from entity to artifact, but yes, that's right, and yes, it is! I have recognized some similarities here, between this potentially faulty Wonderland and a timeline we avoided in the past. Defeating them may not be what you think. What if it sets them free, instead?" To give them time to think that over, she finished painting her rose. "As for the shards, they were red fragments of the red legacy, Destruction. Having them all in one place will bring something significant and potentially catastrophic, but I'm not sure what that is. In our previous world, the places where these fragments were located had alarmingly high levels of both Insanity and Distortion. What if these fragments share that quality? Who is to say that we are not in a world of Distortion right now?" She hoped not. She really, really hoped not, but it was still a question that had to be asked.
