Quote: 9. You are somewhere where you've always wanted to go, but something is wrong. After answering the voice's questions, several cells were opened and B.B stepped into one of them. Inside it was a fountain. She walked closer to peek and saw the color of the liquid inside changing all the time. "Definitely not water?" She looked around and saw a table, with some teacups and a steel ladle. DRINK ME, it said.
"So?" "Drink?" "Um? What did you say?" The girl already finished and put down the teacup which she used to get the liquid just a few minutes ago. "Z. I-" B.B couldn't finish the sentence and there was glass scattering sound.
After knowing that the one who passed may rebirth in a world called Halloween, she longed for visiting it. Standing outside the Haunted House as a golem, she waited for her Halloween friends to show up. However, she was found by someone else. The creature with a pair of wings aggressively asked, "Are you the hunter?". She glared at her while raising her sharp dagger. She nodded and then the creature assaulted. The attacks were too powerful that she got a lot of cut and was exhausted. The eyes of the creature suggested that she wanted her death. She just wanted to collect more information so that she might see her sisters again, why? When she fell onto the ground with the creature raising the dagger high, there was her last thought.

[ Someone you love is dying in front of you, and it is your fault. ]
It was all he wanted.
Slow ragged breaths, blood seeping warm and rich and beautiful into the ground.
He wanted to see the last light go out, to drink in the emotion which sputtered and fought defiant to the last, to extinguish beauty and vibrancy too strong for this world. It was like shielding his eyes from a sun which blinded him and cast shadows over his own flaws.
Love or hate it didn't matter. She would look at him and she would see him, see him as every potential future she would never have. They said only gods had power over life and death but he knew that was a lie, anyone who reached out and seized greatness had that power. And he had. He had and it was perfect.
She would lose.
He would steal the most important thing from her with this last, perfect action. He would steal her victory.
Every nerve reflex, every sound, every breath dragged in this moment through youthful lips would be his symphony. She was his music, she was his muse, she was the keystone to that spark, to the emotions that eluded him. She was so so important and so was this.
It was his fault, his machination, his ultimate end.
And there was no malice, no hate. It was despite the personal nature of the pursuit thing a most impersonal death. He was invested yet he did not feel at all - a broken and fractured nature, void of even the rudimentary justification of the hungry or cornered animal. He killed because he wanted to understand. Because he wanted - He simply wanted.
Life was waning fast he was satisfied, leaning down to plant a kiss on unresisting, cooling lips.
This death was his gift to her, a demonstration of his perfection.
"Don't worry, you will never die. I will immortalise you for ever."
Because he loved her.

There were too many cells. It felt like he would easily find himself lost within the Red Queen’s Castle if he wandered any more. Yet imagine his surprise when he found a fountain with colorful liquids swirling inside. Beside it stood a table with a tea cup that held instructions. It wasn’t a good idea, but he chose to follow through anyways.
Elliot does not beg. He never begs. He goads, and if he’s desperate enough he asks. There are no words to hear over the voices and cacophony when the mist hunter stands in front of him with a calm expression.
Someone is yelling into his headset to do something. Hopkins, do something!
His old friend turns his head to the side, peering at the death hunter to do something. His eyes narrowed, and for a moment he swore he saw a half-nod in request. Request for—
There is no need for communication. Elliot couldn’t even see his face behind the mask anyways. There is only silent agreement, a nod to the friendship they shared once upon a time. No matter how wide the chasm between them has grown, he still knows exactly what he’s asking for.
And even with a mask, there is a metallic taste in his mouth as the blade drives right through Elliot’s gut.
He woke up, gasping loudly.MY STATS My character's username: R0GU3R4BB1T My character's level: 64 (50 EXP) Character's HP: 40 Character's Job Class: White Rabbit Herald Current party: n/a Current Guild: Vicious Streak Location: n/a Small IC description of character: A rather tall lad with black hair and red streaks. McCowboy wandered through the castle dungeon cells with caution. There was something more than just a little eerie about the whole place. Eventually, he came across a stone fountain and a small table with an arrangement of cups. 'Drink Me' was engraved into the table. He had seen these sorts of instructions enough - and by now he knew that there could be just as much reward from drinking as there were risks, but he let his ego charm him into taking the chances. He took a sip of the liquid from the fountain and drifted off into sleep... [5. You see yourself happy in a relationship-- with someone you currently disdain. This can be a platonic ship!]BANG.
The gunshot echoed through the woods as his target collapsed to the floor, dead. Wyatt tossed his shotgun over his shoulder and approached his prey - a large stag, shot in the gut. His hunting companion followed him.
"Damn, you're sure gettin' better at this," the older companion said. Wyatt smiled widely in response. "I'm proud of you, son."McCowboy woke up feeling both disgusted. That wasn't a memory and felt more than just a dream - was that his future? The thought of that disturbed him - he wanted nothing to do with his father. He didn't have hope of that relationship ever being repaired, he knew it was an impossibility, and yet it felt so real. ((You have become the most powerful entity in this world. What do you do with that power?)) Trex wasn't sure what brought him back down to the little cell, with the sparkling fountain and teacups. Maybe he was tired. Maybe he just needed to sleep for a bit. His foxfire seemed to understand, it flopped over in a corner while he took some water in a little teacup, and took a sip. He set the teacup back down, and sleepily sat down next to his pet. The moment he hit the cold floor, he was out like a light. In this dream, there was a calm, peaceful air. He looked out the window, and it was the island he currently lived on. With all it's labs and dorms and training yards... But there was a change in the atmosphere, instead of strict and militant training, people were laughing as they sparred, training for fun and not because their lives were on the line. They knew it would be okay, they were safe on the island. The mist had been cleared, and there was sun. There were no dark shadows, no threats to worry about. There were no reasons to be afraid, and while they lived on the island they were free to pursue other occupations. In that way dream-knowledge is self-evident, he knew there were scientists on the island, and athletes, and bakers and artists and everything they all would have been if there was no threatening darkness... It was a dream that left him feeling calm when he woke, but also hollow and empty. ( 10: You are running, and have been for some time. But from what? ) "Drink Me," WhiteWind murmured to herself. Huh. Must be another type of quest. She fiddled with the teacups, before selecting one with a delicate bone china pattern in blue. She filled it with water from the fountain, careful to make sure no drops splattered or fell where they weren't supposed to. And then she tossed her head back and downed the liquid in one quick motion. Her eyelids drooping shut, she had just enough presence of mind to place the teacup back on the table. It was so pretty... didn't wanna... break... it... She crumpled to the floor in a heap. Except she hit the ground running. Faster, she had to go faster. She abandoned her humanoid form for all fours. It felt so much better to know she wasn't groundbound, but her enemies had long range weapons and attacks. Flight was a possibility, but she wanted more distance first. Shouts echoed behind her and there was a crack like thunder as something whizzed past her head. Snarling, she redoubled her efforts, legs pumping as she propelled her self forward... and out of her dreams as the sound of her armor scrabbling against the stone floor bolted her into wakefulness. "The meals in this place suck," she told the fountain. After escaping from the prisoners, Feral still found himself in the dungeon with no sight of any sort of escape. From the running, he was extremely thirsty and needed to find something to drink and rest for a moment before he can continue on with his escape. The moment he thought about it was when he ran into a fountain within a large cell. The shimmering waters had attracted him fully and Feral made his way over to take a drink. He didn't need a tea cup at all and merely used the silver ladle to scooped some of the water up to his lips and drank all of the water.
"It's sweet . . ." Feral muttered under his lips as he set the ladle down and oddly find himself very sleepy. He couldn't fight against it. Feral desperately groped around for a wall to lean against it as he was overcame by the slumber. Slowly he slid down the wall until the large Gryphon sat on the floor to sleep . . .
An image came to mind, a dream. Feral saw himself back in the real world and took notice of how he had changed and looked older. His fiery hair looked longer with braids, stronger, and looking around for something. He was in the forest that was familiar to him from long ago. It was where he met his first friend out of his home, a friend after the chaos he had unleashed. The place held some very good memories there for him It seemed that he was looking around through every bush and looking up through every tree that he can possibly see, but the Rakshasa couldn't find anyone. He stood in the woods alone, and looked absolutely heartbroken that the demon could be on the very verge of tears now. "Tavi . . ." The kitsune was nowhere to be found . . .
Feral jerked around in his sleep and was fully awake from the terrible dream. There were tears stinging his eyes as he remembered what he had saw about being in that forest where he had wanted to go to . . . with him. And he was not there.MY STATS My character's username: Feral_monk My character's level: 18 Character's HP: 30/30 Character's Job Class: Gryphon Current party: n/a Current Guild: n/a Location: Small IC description of character: link Stands at a height of 6'10" with glowing red eyes Character journal: Journal link

Water. That told her to drink it. She didn’t even hesitate, using the ladle to scoop some up and fill a pretty little cup. Down it went. It was an old house. Abandoned now, aside from the squirrels in the attic. She knew now that whatever she thought had lived in it when she was a child was probably more of a visitor. Perhaps there was even a portal somewhere on the premises. Or maybe it did have something living there full time, feeding on fear. Or had. She wasn’t picking up and odd vibes from it at the moment.
In fact, a cursory exploration revealed only a mild Fear spike.
It didn’t matter. She was going to follow through with her plan no matter she encountered there. She flipped the box of matches over, listening to the sound of them. With a grin, she pocketed them, before reaching for the tin of lighter fluid.MY STATS My character's username: Waffleberry My character's level: 42 Character's HP: 40/40 Character's Job Class: White Rabbit Herald Current party: -- Current Guild: -- Location: The Mad Tea Party Small IC description of character: White rabbit with blonde hair~ red dress with white accessories. Sap found this place decent enough to explore. It wasn't as intriguing as the mad tea party, but she'd complained about that enough. This cell was strange, different from the others. It felt underwater and oddly comforting in its familiarity. Familiar? Oh! The pool of water was much like the lake. Perhaps it also had strange memory powers? Sap was wary of said strange memory powers, but she decided to take a look anyway because why not. Nothing happened. She saw the cups that said 'Drink me'. Oh. So she was supposed to drink the water? Well. She figured she might as well. She filled a teacup with water and... "Bottoms up?"---- "Sap! Help!" His name was Paulo, . He was a Reaper with a blue bull familiar, a patron of lumberjacks and, here in this new school, they had obviously gotten along poorly. Her being a tree and all. So far, her dislike of him had partially stemmed from him being generally better at everything and older. But, she had learned, she was smarter. "Why?" she asked him, standing over him as he grovelled. "Please! I can't take tests. I... I fall apart. I'm no good at them..." he held his hands up, pleading, "Please, Sap, please help me... you get this stuff, this magic stuff... Just help me study, help me pass this test..." he looked up at her, "I'm begging you..."She was moved (Mooved in his familiar's case), but she feigned disinterest, pointedly inspecting her branchy fingers. "Soooo, what do I get in return?" "Anything..." he said, "Anything you want... I gotta pass this class. I gotta. Otherwise my parents'll disown me!""Anything?" Sap had some ideas about how that anything could be used. But, she was too nice to abuse it. "How about this. If I help you, You stop making my life hell and threatening to chop me down? How about that?" "Yes! Yes! I'm sorry! I'll do anything!"Sap grinned. "Excellent! Lets get started" She was going to help him... She didn't intend to make it easy. ----- Sap awoke with a start, blinking as a puppet again in the red queen's castle. What the heck had that been? 3 OF SPADES My character's username: Maple_Syrup My character's level: 41 Character's HP: 40 Character's Job Class: Cheshire Cat Wraith Current party: NA Current Guild: NA Location: Where applicable, if you are in another zone. Small IC description of character:Maple Syrup is a puppet woman with very woody, brown skin and orange fall leaves everywhere, especially her hair, which appears to just stay in that hairstyle and be completely made of twigs and leaves. Her eyes and mouth have a yellowish glow to them, though they exude slightly blue-ish wisps of light. Though Eerie, they seem otherwise friendly, like a jack-o-lantern. She wears the Cheshire cat cloak, semithere tail, and the semithere scarf in the traditional blue-theme, but has foregone the ears for an aura of shadowy magic that seems to cling to her and shift. She also has glowing, long, cyan claws - her weapon as a Cat. Both the claws and the aura are not visible/barely visible out of battle, but become apparent during battle - the claws are very long and sharp, and the aura becomes a miasmic and disturbing cloud... are those eyes? No, of course not. Aside from being cool and magical, this has no effect on her stats. Its just cool. Character journal: Link

The red queen's castle wasn't exactly user friendly. Nor, was it any sort of friendly at all. but it was a castle, and she was white, and this was part of a quest. One didn't leave a quest un-done after all.
To drink was to dream yet in this dream- A sip.
She watched herself, she watched as everyone lay dead around her, as the world began to crumble, hate and rage and fury taking it in. There was war. Blood. Loss without end. The circle broken, now downward it spun, reckless and careless as those caught in crossfire burned.
She was held back. She was useless, bound and crying, begging to join the fight. A fight she would die in. Fail. Fall. It was Israfel who kept here there, chained and unable to rush to anyone, who kept her alone safe as was his only power.
A sister she never knew, eyes so afraid as shadows danced in her vision. Another life, bound to silence.

The imprisoned mass had told him, them, that they were free to roam, and roam he did throughout the castle. He didn't get too far through the dungeons until he found himself in that particular cell with the fountain.
And so he did as instructed, as he always seemed to do in Wonderland. He drank.Quote: 2. You have returned to somewhere from your past, for closure or something else. They had said to never go home. He always understood that it was pretty much that no friends or family would actually find out he was actually alive and well (and better). Milo hadn't even left really on good terms; if one could really say that, he had just left with no word at all, no faked death, no note, just left. He was probably a missing persons for a while. (It made him feel terrible when he realized this back then, but it had subsided, he had more important things to worry about).
It seemed sound, until there was no home to return to. Ravished, destroyed, Milo was standing on the aftermath of an invasion and a path of destruction that had struck the whole island chain. It hadn't been a target, he couldn't remember pissing off any particular Horsemen, just in the way and a casualty in the bigger picture. They had attacked the Pacific Rim specifically. And now he was just standing on ash and soot, nothing left, not even the lush forests that still scattered the island or any of the wildlife. There was no one to recognize him now and he almost laughed at the cruel joke but he couldn't muster it. Much less any emotion as he pushed himself forward and up the barren hill.
He had come here specifically, managed to pull a few strings to be allowed to get the clearance. Didn't figure it would take him too long, he just wanted to do one little thing. Up the hill would have been a house, one particular house; his. But now there was nothing and if not for the easy geographical location, he might not have ever found it.
Milo stood where he imagined his front porch would have been, imagined his grandmother sitting on one of their beaten up chairs as she regaled some sort of weird urban legend (mostly made up by her, right then) and the trees not too far off blooming with fresh plumeria and a few mangos. But it was gone, all gone. He closed his eyes, trying to push the memories away. He wasn't here to reminisce, he was here to say goodbye.
In his grip he held a simple lei, crudely made from flora from Deus. "Aloha 'oe." The Sun whispered, setting the ring of flowers upon the ground, "a hui hou kakou..."
Somehow he held it all together, he didn't cry. Maybe he was more broken than he realized, hardened from battles and strife. Something he didn't want to become.OOC My character's username: GreenRanger My character's level: 43 Character's HP: 40 Current party: -- Current Guild: Queen's Rangers Location: -- Small IC description of character: A tall brown haired humanoid male sportin' the green set of Gryphon attire, and most likely doing stupid poses. It was a stupid dare. One Etzer had started sure, but he should have stopped him then. He was his older brother, the wise one that knew better. But he hadn't. A simple trip to the haunted house. It was no big deal. It was visited by people at random times, no one died. The worst that would happen was that they dissipated.
Right? They'd just be back at school. That was the worst... that could happen.
Yet before him lay the ever growing still form of his brother, and he was unable to move. He'd heard of hunters. Never met one. Never wanted to meet one. Regretted meeting one. His fingers felt sluggish even as he tried to drag himself a few more paces to stop what was happening, to stop that weapon from falling, but he couldn't... he couldn't move to stop it, and if he'd never told him to go find some other room to haunt for a while and not try to spook him the hunter would never have gotten the jump on them.
