Chel had honestly had weirder dreams. Especially when it came to dreaming about video games. Usually there was less pointing things falling towards her and a lot more cleavage, but she wouldn't complain.
She gently touched down, reaching the same starting zone it seemed everyone else did. She looked down, finding herself in a swankified pirate outfit. She found gorgeous sunset hair and wicked horns on her forehead, coupled with a sweet a** pirate hat.
Overall, she could do much worse.
The Alice AI went over choosing her username, her class- these were all things Chel knew so well after years and years of MMO mongering. She knew the deal.
She also knew that she wasn't picking some serious username. She was the one who picked BigBoobs or something stupid every time. So she casually went with the first stupid thing she thought of and called it good.
It seemed as though others had assembled around her in the small area, but she didn't bother interacting. These were newbies- people who might not have been playing long and wouldn't be able to help her much. No, the better option was for her to go it alone for now, and work her way up to the big leagues. Then when she became a badass level eighty guildleader, she could dilly dally around.
But first things first, she needed to figure out where she was and how she could stop that cantankerous noise. Or maybe it was just not being dumb.
attemptedmurder wilted a little at the sign, even more so when it began talking (who had ever heard of a talking sign), but standing around wouldn't do him very good. So it was with great trepidation that he decided that maybe just playing the game, or whatever it was, would help him get through...this.
He sludged off, wings fluttering dismally behind him, determined to make use of his newfound bravery.
It was short lived. The first tree he came to was practically bedazzled in signs that pointed every which way, and he stared at it for a long, seemingly hopeless moment before sighing and moving on to the next tree.OOC

The trees had eyes? SCIENCE had to investigate further! She approached another section of the woods, looking for a likely, non-Willow specimen. A tall, thin one caught her eye, and she approached only to have it ask her a question. SCIENCE listened dutifully, and tried to puzzle it out. "Are you a Medium-ish height?" she finally guessed. "No, why, I do not think that's the answer at all. You are very wrong." it responded. SCIENCE tilted her head in confusion, and decided to look elsewhere. MY STATS My character's username: SCIENCE

WHY WOULD HE COME BACK? Still, holding back the already evident cringe, he slowly backed away before musing about just returning to the wood. No, it HAD said to come back. So after a few minutes he returned to the spot and found... absolutely nothing.
Stupid trees.
Well, that counted as five, right? So with that he returned to the tree plank, which now had a question mark in yellow of it's head. A brief talk and there might have been a ding of some sort again and...
DING QUEST COMPLETED!
Oh look at that. The thing over his head said 2 now. And he'd gotten a card of some sort. WELL! ...at least he hadn't failed too much. It was talking to him - it was saying sort of encouraging things, which Xavier supposed he appreciated. He gave the teeth a weak sort of smile and staggered backwards, clutching his coat around him as tightly as he possibly could.

NotAllan was getting very sick of this music. She wandered down the only path there was, considering that the area only gave her one direction. There was no use looking for secrets and what not- it was very close ended.
Instead, she found a talking sign and instructions for finding trees. What did that even mean? "Well it's got an exclamation point. Important, right?"
Find trees it told her. Look for shy trees. This was her starter quest, right? Sweet so it would be easy.
She came to a tree with many signs, made out of wood (which in NotAllan's opinion seemed a little cannibalistic), which informed her of literally nothing. Excellent. Great start.

The next tree was sad. attemptedmurder felt some of his fear ebb a little away because maybe he'd be able to help, m-maybe he'd be able to do something for someone else for a change (even if that someone else was a tree) and actually do something.

Okay, third tree! SCIENCE was not having all that much luck figuring this forest out. Well, she knew two things. "Some trees have eyes. Some trees can talk." she listed the facts out loud, wondering if the trees ever got tired of talking to their neighbors, since they were stuck in one spot. What would she learn from this third tree? Apparently that a number of the trees in this forest were ready to spar! Despite the promise of violence, the tree also insisted that she not come any closer. "So... do you want to spar, or don't you?" SCIENCE asked, confused. "Stay. Away!" the tree yelled. Awww. MY STATS My character's username: SCIENCE

Well now, this was...a little odd, to say the least. The ghoul was visibly confused, having answered the questions about an alias and classes with only a miniscule amount of understanding as to what was going on. Just what crazy situation had she found herself in now? It seemed as if even graduating from Amity wasn't enough to protect her from winding up in weird places, but then again, maybe she preferred it that way.
The ghoul scanned her surroundings, her tail--which was not her normal baku tail, she was a little alarmed to find--flicking behind her as she furrowed her brows. Truthfully, she wasn't at all bothered about the outfit that she had suddenly been shoved in, as how she looked was understandably the least of her concerns right now. She just had a lot of questions, and no one to answer them.
...Or so she assumed, anyways, but it looked like she wasn't alone here. Upon spotting the rather impressive number of other similarly-dressed figures, she--Nightbloom--lift a hand and ran her fingers through her hair with a sigh.

This was so... cool!
The Alice AI seemed to finally get her attention, and the0racle suffered through a quick tutorial of how to play the game, which sounded totally rad. Looking at all the other players around her now, she had to wonder if they thought this was as exciting as she did. the0racle didn't quite seem concerned about waking up, or leaving in any way shape or form. She just wanted to stay put and marvel at her surroundings.
And oh, she had such a fluffy tale now, tufts of fur sticking out underneath shimmering white scales that she was totally used to having. Eventually, the0racle would move, but for now she seemed quite content to play with her outfit and with her cat ears! It was almost amazing how quickly the0racle seemed to accept her situation, or just not question it at all.

Onwards with his... quest. That's what this was right? A few more people were loading in. Shadowstep didn't pay any of them a whole lot of mind, however. Instead, he focused on a tree that smiled at him with quite the set of teeth.. floating over it. The teeth spoke to him, noting that he looked rather lost. Yes. Yes he was lost. But this was just a dream. He shook his head and moved on. Just as he thought this, the teeth implied there was more to all of this than what he was seeing. With a furrowed brow, he looked back, but it was gone. NotAllan then came across another tree, which tried to wrap her mind in a brain teaser. NotAllan put her hand on her hip, the other hand casually stroking a non-existent beard.
So this tree was tallest, Nilly came after, then Dilly. Dilly was shorter than Milly, meaning it now went Tree, Nilly, Milly, Dilly. But ... the tree was both taller than Nilly and shorter than Dilly. Which made no sense. There was no answer.
"I think you're ********' with me brah."
The tree the properly scolded her, telling her her answer was very wrong. NotAllan decided she was very done with this tree.

This should be no surprise to the death horseman, as he quite often got himself lost.
And he would probably stay lost. At one point, he stared up at the feather adornment for his head and narrowed his eyes at it. "What the hell is this s**t?" He muttered, and looking around.
