The Demon took an arrow to the throat. Then he tossed another guy into a wall. Another arrow to the hip, and one more dead civilian as the Demon drove his metal plate skull into the head of a bystander, and one last arrow to the shoulder finally got his attention as he looked up to the cliff side before falling over dead.

With his distraction dead the Duck launched his jutsu and went into action. Either he died at the hands of the enemy or at the hands of his boss. This meant that he needed to get this over quickly. The fog rolled in from the water and covered visibility everywhere. The Duck could still see in the fog with his chakra, but it helped to have infrared goggles too. He pulled the goggles down and ran into the village, shooting off more hand signs as he ran. Stealth was to be his ally in this endeavor.

Hijutsu: Kiri Gakure no Jutsu (Hidden Technique: Art of the Hidden Mist)
This displacement technique is a specialty of the Ninja from Kirigakure, where one causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It cannot fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dÅjutsu.
