Keegan North: -sits on the front steps of a coffee shop, powder blue acoustic guitar in her grip as she strums a few chords, seeming to be in her own little world; so much had happened in a short amount of time, it was just so hard to believe she was a mother-

Yume:: was sitting on the patio of the coffee shop, with a book in her grasp with a small drink in front of her. She was in a world of her own as well, hardly noticing people who passed by her. She continued this way until she heard the strum of a few chords on a guitar. When she heard the cords she tilted her head to the side and looked around a bit causing her bangs to shift. From behind her long bangs she saw someone sitting on the steps to the coffee shop with a powder blue guitar in her hands.

Keegan's fingers picked across the strings with a few mistakes, but she was getting better. Guitar wasn't something she'd always done; it was more of a newfound dream, to be a rockstar of sorts--well, that WAS the plan. Before Lula... She huffed to herself, smile never faltering. No worries; when Luka and Kateri were all grown up, she'd reconsider. Until then, practice made perfect!
Stretching, she paused her play at the feeling of eyes watching her. She was hyper-sensitive to these things, and not only that, but she picked up on others' emotions as well, which could be more of a curse than a gift. Glancing up, she met the eyes of a pretty salmon-pink fox holding a book and Keegan grinned, hopping up off the step and making a beeline for the other girl. "Hi there. Mind if I sit?" She motioned to the chair opposite Yume.

Yume:: Yume was watching the girl strum on her guitar. She seemed to be completely lost in thought. Yume didn’t realize that she was staring until the blue fox-girl looked up from her guitar. The blue fox lifted her head up and matched Yume’s glaze. When she looked toward her she sat up a bit straighter at being caught staring. She quickly looked back toward her book embarrassed. She didn’t noticed that the girl hopped up and made a bee-line toward her. When she spoke Yume jumped shocked almost dropping her book. She quickly looked up and looked up at her thought her long bangs. She blinked and looked toward the chair across from her; she then looked back at the girl herself. “Ah, Y-yeah you can.” She said nodding her head causing her hair to bob with her nods.

Keegan grinned from behind her emo bangs, which she blew out of her way, and at Yume's soft voice, okaying the slight companionship, Keegan pushed the chair out with her foot and sat down none-too-gracefully, swinging the chair around so she was straddling it. "You like music?" she asked, head tilted, long tail curled around her as she set the guitar down gently beside her. "Or are you one of those girls who'd rather read a book in silence? Not knockin' it, just asking. I'm nosy." She wore a lopsided grin, resting her elbows on the table. "I'm Keegan. Keegan North."

Yume:: Before the girl moved her things that had wondered off to that side of the table, she grabbed her drink and brought it closer to her. While she did that she looked thought the tops of her eyes and watched her. She watched as she made her way to the chair and then to turned it around and sat down on it straddle style. ”You like music?” Yume looked up at her when she spoke her question. She turned her head back down again and closed her book with a small thump. She let her hand linger on the cover of the thick book while she was thinking. “I don’t dislike music…” Yume said and she then looked up at her though her thick bangs that covered her eyes. “I like to listen to it, but I’m not the type to know the name of songs, I just recognize some songs as I listen to them in the background.” Yume continued after a very small pause. She then glanced back at her book then back up at the girl who introduced herself as Keegan North. ”I’m Yume, Just Yume”

Keegan grinned, giving the girl a thumbs up sign. "Hey, there are all sorts of music lovers out there. Some are hardcore, some just love the way music sounds, some can take it or leave it--it's the people who hate music, they're the ones who are the trickiest." She nodded, ears flopping as she placed her chin atop her hands and gazed golden eyes at the pink fox. "Yume, eh? That's pretty. Do you know what it means? Off the top of your head?" Her lips curved into a merry smile. "My name means fiery and 'a thinker'. S'pretty cool." She shrugged, then pointed to the book. "I love to read in my spare time, though...honestly, I like the smutty kinds of books. Naughtier the better, hah." Her tail wagged. "Sorry--I talk too much, I'll shut up. I'm just hyper tonight, I guess."

Yume:: Yume nod her head with Keegan as she talked about music lovers and haters. ”Ah, thank you.” Yume said as Keegan commented on her name, she liked her name as well. “Yes I actually I do know what it means. It means ‘Dream’ in Japanese…” Yume said as she looked down at her the book under hand. Yume kind of blushed at her comment on smutty books. “Honest I don’t really read many smutty books, I like to read books about adventure and fantasy, I would guess. I read many types of books.” Yume said quietly towards her book a bit embarrassed. She looked back up at Keegan. ” Ah! No it’s alright, I’m sorry… I’m a bit quiet… it’s okay. Your Hyper? Why would you be hyper?” She said and tilted her head to the side.

Keegan watched her, her smile ever-present. "Dream. Well that's beautiful! Pretty name for a pretty girl," she said with a wink, unknowingly flirting with the girl--as was her nature, but she meant nothing by it and when Yume mentioned the types of books she liked, Keegan nodded. "That's why there are SO many different genres out there! I like smut and romance and sexy happily-ever-afters? You like badass chicks with swords fighting dragons." A mere estimation. She fidgeted in her seat, tail wagging now. "Well..." She took in a deep breath. "I'm going to be a mom! It was kinda...accidental, and definitely not planned but...I'm excited." She beamed. "A little boy and a little girl."

Yume:: Yume gave a small smile as Keegan told her name was beautiful. ”Thank you, I enjoy it as well.” She had been looking down again smiling to herself. She looked back up at the blue fox. She chuckled as she was talking about sexy happily-ever-afters, and badass chicks with swords slaying dragons. She blinked sense a more somewhat serious moment as she got to why she was hyper. She smiled at Keegan, “Children? Oh my, you must be very excited.” Yume smiled broadly. ”I love little kids. They are so cute.” She said at Keegan ”Do they look like you?” Yume asked as she leaned a bit foreword.
Yume:: //Looks at Suteneko though her bangs and then looks down// "I'm fine, ah thank you for worrying."

Suteneko:: --smiles sweetly-- Well how could I not worry over a pretty female being thrown? You have have been hurt.

Lady Rikka:: Plotting me? Never. --She watches Yume-- Dream.. What a wonderful name. Yume. It fits you. --Her tails sway as she flutter her wings a bit stepping closer to the young female-- And what do you think of my childish son? --she smiles--

She then nodded her head at Rikka as she commented on her name, she then blushed at her compliment.// "Ah thank you," //She blinked as Rikka got closer to her and then asked her what she thought of her adoptive son.// "Ah.. I th- I think he is a very nice and very kind person... He is also very wise" //She said blushing, and a bit embarrassed.//

She smiled at him and took all his words in like a sponge. He was so better with getting his words out compared to Yume.// "You are like my favorite books, Each time I'm near you, you surprise me, and excite me, and each time i'm around you i find small things that make me fall in love with you all over again." // Yume said with blush on her cheeks, hoping he wouldn't take offense to being compared with a book. To Yume it was no contest.

Yume:: "well we can go check those books out that I had recommended earlier" //Yume said nervously not knowing what to do. She looked up from the up of her eyes over at him with a shy smile.//

Suteneko:: "That sounds like a plan so please lead the way" --He said while smiling. He could and would follow her anywhere no questions asked.--

Yume:: //Yume smiles widely at Sute when he agreed.// "Great" //She expressed a happy grin and started to lead him towards her place with her piles of books//
