Claudia Vesslia Nyru turn and gave her that 'what do you make of this' look that the woman couldn't think of an explanation to say. Adi, the traveling expert, wouldn't classify this barren land as home as Charles declared it is. The only reasonable sorceress to easy their minds was of course the goth clientele who knows more about this race than anyone else. With a simple incarnation that took dedicated focus on, the group's eyes were opened to a whole new world. A bustling village with lumber constructed buildings like the pilgrims used and intricate dressed citizens below. The industrialize of their metal work seemed advanced considering several men that strolled by clothed in armor. Adi and Nyru must have more than impressed, similar to her expressions.
For people that have been living in this open yet concealed area for some time were amazing modernized in a way. She felt like they were more civil than the people where she lived, always cold and unappreciative. The Therians deserved their real home back even though their living arrangements now were more than sustainable. Claudia could help, but love their humble commodities and would live here herself if she could. Their only stay for a current amount of time so until then she might as well enjoy all this place has to offer.
Like the qypsy, she was eager to explore the invisible location so why wait. Without permission, she took off without the others running down the dirt path ready to become consumed in the people's hospitality. "Hello there!" The blonde was friendly and compassionate this evening compared to her usual nagging selfish self.

Isabelle had a grin upon her face as she turned back around to take in the view, Nyru meanwhile had to hold back himself as Claudia ran off into the small town of sorts. She was so eager to meet everyone, and luckily for her the first person she greeted was equally as happy to greet her. It was a gentleman in top hat and long town coat carrying a plank of wood. Holding the tip of his hat he nodded and replied "Good morning" as he continued on.
Nyru was almost wide-mouthed as he watched her, "I take, no, responsibility if she turns your people into party-goers" he said. Charles replied with "It would do them all good, we've not stopped working for days. But today it shall all be finished" he ended with a smile. "I'd certainly enjoy a party" Isabelle groaned, brushing her hands through her hair as she pulled it over her shoulder. Nyru almost regurgitated with "I didn't mean have a party!" "Well, it's always good to let your hair down and wear a good dress" she said, bringing her head over her shoulder to face him. "This is hardly the place nor time... I'm sure Adi would agree" he added, then saying "No offence" to Charles. This was Nyru's way of trying to better his sister for once, sometimes finding her ideas a little too far when in reality... it was just, simply, Isabelle. He nodded in reply as Isabelle continued "Well it's always worth a try".
"Come, i'll take you to our hall just over there, we can sort out any and all arrangements inside"

Like a gift from the heavens it was easy to tell. It was love from above that could save me from hell. She had fire in her soul, it was easy to see, how the devil himself could be pulled out of me. At the sudden actions of Claudia, it left the gypsy curious as well as a little worried perhaps. For the woman and warrior she thought her to be with her stern talk and selfish was, these sudden actions were rather...odd. Adi watched and stared at the blond running through the streets, greeting people, and them greeting her back.
Apparently her thoughts went along the same lines as those of Nyru as he commented before the dark haired gypsy could. Then it went into a conversation about parties and celebration, and Nyru believing that this was no time for a party or celebration. So shocked and flabbergasted, it took a few moments after Charles leading them to the hall for her to speak.
"Nryu...." Rur'Adika said at last. "Really...do you not realize what I am. A Gypsy for goodness sake, not a princess," she said with a bit of a pout and scowl. "And what do Gypsies do best?"
Waving her hands about in a animated fashion, the bangles of medal and glass beads chiming from her waving wrists. The pause filled only by the sounds of the town as they continued on their day, Adi was waiting for them to answer, but with their limited knowledge of Gypsies it seemed she would have to elaborate.
Sighing, Adi did just that. "We sing and dance, and make merry; for any which reason good or bad, we Gypsies always, and I mean always, celebrate! And Gypsies can throw one hell of a party if I do say so myself," she said with a cheeky grin.
Discovering a long lost race and movements to make a new home...were defiantly worth celebrating, at least in Adi's mind.

Claudia Vesslia Claudia was greeted immediately by a gentleman hoisting a board of lumber. The top hat and fancy coat signified how much a true man he was and the woman couldn't resist his charm. She ran to the limp side of the wood and erected it aiding the man. He deserved as much after he graced her with his accommodating presences. It was certainly shaping up to be a lovely day and the blonde was willing to exert her fair share. She waved to Nyru and the others as she disappeared into a building only to come out moments later searching for other means to make herself important. Meanwhile, the group unintentional planned a party to celebrate the final constructions made to the Therian's village. If she would have heard this information first hand, she would have been the one to demand for the idea to happen. She got wild at parties, but stayed sober enough to sustain her dignity.

Walking by the workers that were completing the small town for themselves to call home for a short time, Charles led them to the main hall. Nyru felt comfortable knowing, to begin with, that Adi had agreed with him earlier by not even replying, he felt almost he had bested his sister for once. However, once they were inside and Claudia was still out helping the others outside, she expressed a very different side of herself to what she normally shows.
At first Nyru gave her a blank stare with his arms firmly crossed, but when she began holding her arms and bangles and shiny things up he widened his eyes and took a step back. Silence fell, but Isabelle was growing an ever sniggering smile. Isabelle then decided to reply tot he gypsie firstly with "I need to come to one of these parties" she crossed her arms also and added "they sound like my kind of place". Isabelle then gave a proud sort of look to Charles who raised a brow to begin with, he then looked to Nyru who was refusing to speak or reply for the moment.
"I'm going to go find Claudia" he then said, hoping to find her quickly and get back inside. Meanwhile, Isabelle shook her head and said "Stubborn as always..." with a sigh, the years she had lived with him as children reminded her that she shouldn't be surprised. "So" Charles said "is there... anything that we can personally help you with, besides giving you a place to rest?" "Besides a party?" she joked, he then looked to Adi and said "without instruments nor bright lights of elegant dresses for our women, i'm afraid it won't be as splendiferous as you girls enjoy" he joked.
He made Isabelle chuckle, perhaps that was why she was so fond of him at the time. But for her, this was a purely platonic relationship, as were all of her close relationships. Taking in a breath she did however say "After we've rested, we need to find a way to get back into the City of Crows without being caught" "Oh, and for what reason?" he scoured back, not understanding the use "Surely, Darris' men will slaughter you, you're outnumbered 10 to 1. We've checked already". Nyru's sister looked to Adi first as she debated her next answer, but she came out with it anyway. "The Black Jewel" she said, staring at him in the eyes, with even mentioning the black jewel, the atmosphere became silent and deadly. "Without it... our queen is lost forever and we have no hope of overpowering Darris..." Isabelle admitted, sadness in her tone, she actually seemed disappointed in herself for once.
Meanwhile, outside, Nyru had found Claudia nearby and walked up to her, "Hey, Claudia" he said, one of the workers then taking his lumber and finishing his work for the day. He wanted to clear his mind, he felt the pressure of teh city on his shoulders, he felt like if Ruby found out their situation... if Laxion began to worry... he felt like he shouldn't have made that call. He should have just left it. But on a more important note, what if they didn't succeed and Darris prevailed, why would he try to overcome Declasia and rule the city? He must have a much larger motif. What if even he was searching for te Black Jewel.
"What do you think" he said to Claudia "about all this." he seemed lost as he spoke. "Do you think we can do it?"

Seeing Nyru's reaction kind of worried her. Was he expecting more out of her then she's capable off? Adi remembered clearly meeting them through an incident after a performance, which he should have been well aware that singing and dancing were some key parts of not just her personally but her culture as well. She really couldn't understand why he was shocked so much. At least Isabelle seemed interested in such and caused the Gypsy to smile.
"Oh they aren't your typical ball, drab party of talking and drinking. No these are full of life; singing and dancing around a fire or several, plenty of wine and ale, music filling the night air from dusk to dawn....they are certainly something..."
After her reply to Isabelle, Nyru was still not satisfied or still shocked, Adi wasn't sure, but he excused himself rather quickly. Sighing, she ran a hand through her travel tossed air; well aware it needed a good washing. Continuing to look around she paid half attention to what Charles and Isabelle were discussing, but picking up quickly as instruments were mentioned.
Waving a hand to dismiss it, she chuckled. "Oh finery is not needed at a Gyspy party, bring the wine and yourself in comfortable dress. I have more then enough instruments with me to take care of the music." With that said Adi gestured to her saddle bags that Croix was bogged down with however, carried with ease. "That is of course if we have a party."
Serious talk soon came after that she paid half a mind, she was after all the third wheel here. Here to help out of friendship which was enough for her, however, she was risking her life and neck for it. Others would have thought her mad, but Gypsies were loyal and Adi was useful. Staring at her hand now and remembering the light it gave off, she knew there was no turning back after the incident in the Inkwell.
And thought of the voice in her head came back to her...along with the meeting with the Prince of Crows. Adi was still confused on what both wanted from her.

Claudia Vesslia The blonde wasn't accustomed to physical labor all that much so the gentlemanly Werewolf had to take her step by step. The male asked her to reassemble a board that had fallen off earlier do to poor hammering skills. He kindly handed her a new sharpened silver nail and pointed to where it was to be placed. He also positioned her hands in the right fashion so she didn't accidentally miss and impact a finger. Placing the bar of the nail between her index finger and thumb, she eyed the flat head inhaling deeply. With great exertion, the hammer was brought down on the head inserting it a couple of inches into the wood. Claudia was sweating at this point and was as pale as a ghost after that extravaganza. The man noticed her over dramatic "exhaustion" and took back his job while thanking her of course. Nyru came at the perfect moment, and she said her farewells to the citizen knowing that her partner was conjuring a predicament within his mind.
Claudia indulged him by wrapping her arm around his and taking him for a stroll. It was obvious that he wanted her converse with her alone since he knew that she was the only person he could trust besides Adi and his family. The woman's attitude became serious and she thought carefully before she replied. "All of this? Its a distraction, but it's something us shadowmancers need after all the havoc we've been through." She reminisced through her memories ever since the day her and Nyru left the Land of Crows for good. "You know, if I didn't think we could do it we wouldn't be here now would we? Look at how far we've come. It would be unwise to turn back now. We've had some close calls, made friends and lost them, experienced pure tragedy, insanity, and a now corrupted democracy. Do you want my opinion or a lie?" She waited for him to answer her last inquisitive statement.

Nyru was thankfult hat Claudia was so happy to take him up by her side for a short while. But he did notice how this place must have really put a good spell over her. She was very happy. As she left the worker and his continued on with his day, the two of them began walking through the very small village of sorts. There were even a few shady crannies now and then, walls loitered with curtains and dull glowing lights. Hard to tell during the day though.
She was truthful and to the point, Nyru coudln't help but nod and almost think to himself for a few moments as she mentioned the distraction. "hmm" he replied, about needing a break. They've done nothing but run and get hooked up in more business than they wanted, of no reason of their own. Why can't thinks just be simple again. Sometimes he even wondered if it would have been better... their dark swampy land kept hidden from the world.
But then he wouldn't have met such great people.
She managed to cheer him up, she spoke of these friends, people that had no reason to help them but have stuck alongside them, people that come from completely different cultures, beliefs, magical backgrounds and everything far and between. "Your opinion is exactly what keeps me in check" he then chuckled and he sighed and looked at her. "What would i do without someone's outrageous opinion?" he joked.
Back in the hall, Isabelle enjoyed Adi's explanation of the gypsie festivals, the balls, their parties. It sounded different but fun. Isabelle couldn't help but wink at her as she mentioned 'if' they had a party. She sure as the heavens wanted one! Not that she even believed in the heavens. Angels and Demons, a load of stories. From in the Conclave its all corrupt monsters, some people and 'demons' such as the Scarred or so on that escape to Magic Earth.
As for the Black Jewel, Charles finally got ready to reply. His stare was contemplative, half fearful, have with hope. "you mean to say you search for it, to use it?" she nodded. "Well then..." he mumbled, brushing his hairy chin with his fingers. "We may be able to help you there..." he said, and with that Isabelle's eyes lit up, she shot a gaze at Adi before back at Charles. "What do you mean you can help? You sound like you know something we don't already" "Why, i do! As a matter of fact i believe that Black Jewel came into our possession some time ago in the land we've called home for some time. We brought it with us, hoping that the Syndicate would keep it in safe hands." "How did you..." she asked, glaring at him. Anyone who is literate in history knew that the 'Dark Wanderer' had the object, and was never seen again after the Jewel War Began. "A man clad in black left it with us.." his tone then sounded as if to protest, knowing the rumours surrounding the wanderer. "he didn't say anything though! He just... left it. Atleast i believe it was a he. We knew what was going on in Magic Earth, though most of the time we didn't. We didn't let anyone touch it. It whispers to us in ways no one should ever hear".
"Shall we go back?" asked Nury? Looking off into the distance where the hall stood, they were already on the outskirts ofthe small village.

If she ever saw a plotting face, there was one on Isabelle's face. Clearly the sophisticated woman of the Occult wanted one fairly badly. Time would tell if there was something to celebrate for the people here. After all it would be up to them if there was a party or not.
Mention of the Black Jewel, that she knew little about aside from the stories and legends, perhaps their journey wouldn't be so long after all. Right in front of them, Charles was telling them, that the Therian settlement had in their possession that very jewel. Staring wide eyed, glancing at Isabelle and back to Charles, she said nothing. What was there to say about such luck and fortune.
When the man in black was mentioned; the Dark Wanderer, Adi couldn't help but think of Michael...of Zoltan Maues. He fit the description of that so well...but it was an old story, and she didn't think Zoltan was that old. Neither would he have simply given up such a item of worth and power. Just thinking of the man made her stomach twist.
"That would be really convenient if your jewel was in fact the Jewel we're looking for...." she said smoothly. Looking to Isabelle she asked a critical question. "Is it a possibility that its not necessarily the Black Jewel, but just a jewel cast with magic?"

Claudia Vesslia He'd better believe her outrageous opinions are what keep him disciplined. After all they weren't pair together because of their friendship status. Their personalities counter balance one another like Yen and Yang, again figuratively speaking. At least that the reason she wants to believe for putting up with his nuisance all these years. The walk went by and before the two knew it they were observing the city towards the boarders of the village. If they headed in the same direction any further they probably would have gotten lost in the forest. It made Claudia laugh inwardly about how side tracked they always got when they were deep into a conversation. Nyru suggested that they should go back to Adi, Isabelle, and Charles but before they do the woman had to clear so burdensome complications.
"Sure, but there is something I have to request to you first. I'm worried about my sister and the others. We haven't seen them in a while so they must be training diligently on the summit. Their connection to city life is basically severed so I'm assume they know nothing about what has happened. It's precarious, however, we need to inform them of our events. I know it will be hard to cope with, but you know it's the right thing to do." The blonde hoped he wouldn't deny her.

"Uh" Isabelle sighed, Adi was right. "you're all too right Adi..." rolling her eyes and rubbing her forehead she asked Charles "Are you certain it is the Black Jewel, similar to those that began the war, of the Omnijewel, of the syndicate?" she asked. And at first he seemed to hesitate before nodding and slowly blinking as he regrettably said "I'm sure." "But many have tried in the past to recreate such objects. I even dare to think that the Fae would have gone to such length to re-kindle the life of their World Tree. Hell! Even the Star Elves have probably tried it to recreate the Star Well! Where ever they are" Isabelle said, hanging her hands firmly on her hips.
Charles shook his head and said "No, no. I'm certain. If I'm wrong them im sorry, but i doubt an instrument of human creation can do what the jewel we possess can.". To which, Isabelle arched a brow and looked concerned as she stared at Adi, she then looked slwoly over to Charles and asked what they were both thinking. "What... can it do?" "Like i said, anyone that touches it hear's it whisper. Their skin turns to dull, dusty, withered skin. Though the worst that has happened only occured to a very few people, they did become ill... mentally. It's an object we've keep under great protection ever since, we knew that not anyone could possess it". "So you kept it?!" she sighed again, "I'm sorry... it's best that you didn't. Where is it?" she asked. He swallowed, and then he looked behind him and proceeded to gaze upwards towards the ceiling, where the walls stretched high and into the tower. "Up there, behind and between many a cloth. We keep it locked in a chest on a high shelf so no one can even be bothered to attempt retrieving it. "
Claudia caught Nyru by surprise, she had a request. He hesitated to reply to her at first, he gulped as his eyes looked down before looked back at her. "I've already spoken to Laxion". And for that moment he was waiting for her to go mad. "But i didn't speak to him!. I left him a message... i told him not to tell Ruby though.. especially since i hadn't checked with you first. I didn't want her to worry... but i know Laxion will." Nyru was then filled with regret as he hated tot hink what Claudia was going to say, but more so that he had realised what fear he was going to seed within Laxion. But he felt half well, knowing Claudia wanted them to know, so in some ways he hadn't done a bad thing.
But they won't be able to contact them again, well, its unlikely. Isabelle isn't just going to let him user her Occult abilities any time.

The Gypsy shrugged with a guilty grin that wasn't so much filled with guilt. She wasn't intending to be the bringer of broken hopes, however, they had to be rational about such things. If they just jumped into the hope of it being that easy they would easily be disappointed and otherwise probably dead. Though she did not know much about it, Adi heard the stories and knew it was a rare item. Isabelle was quick to jump in and continue her line of thought but Charles continued to believe he had the real deal tucked away.
Hearing his tone and hinting of what it did, Adi raised a brow as she glanced at the other woman. Something in the back of her mind 'pinged' has if something else has caught her attention about this, but she couldn't put her thumb on it. Though those looking at her may have noticed only the slightest bit o golden light like flicks of gold swirling slightly in her chocolate eyes.
Eyes directed upwards, Rur'Adika continued her narrowed gaze up into the upper levels and tower they stood in. "Would be able to see it for ourselves?" she asked with a even tone that was both soft and firm right along with her gaze.
If this was the jewel they were looking for, it would be easier then anticipated, however, if they would take it...it came with its own dangers.

Claudia Vesslia Claudia wanted to burst into frustration, but Nyru had his reasons. Love over conquered logic in his mind and he didn't reveal anything to Ruby. The albino would try to make her way here in a second without thinking of the precautionary actions. Everyday or so, she would bond with her sibling through some form of letter or text though Nyru and Laxion. They still had so much to catch up on and now since she wasn't contacting her the child would start to worry anyway. "I wished you would have consented me earlier, however, you did the right thing. Laxion has every right to hear from you to make sure your alright and I only assume Ruby will play along until she realizes something is up. The summit's training should keep them occupied for a little longer, correct? Let's get this mess resolved first before we even try to involve them. Come on, lets head back." The blonde lead the way waiting for her loyal companion to follow behind.

She reacted almost like he expected, a sigh of relief overcoming him as she swept aside any anger. Nyru then perked himself up, he couldn't act all worried, he was a Royal Guard after all. Nothing could get in his way, not now, his city is at risk. Half-way back he said "Besides... everything will work out fine. Knowing you, i bet Darius won't even dare to stop us" he joked.
Back within the hall, Charles was pondering Adi's request. He stared up towards the tower's roof, walking over towards the end of the hall he was able to look up higher. There it was, on a shelf and roped tightly against the wall, a lonely chest. Isabelle was becoming anxious, impatient whilst Charles continued to show no signs of replying "well?" she asked. "okay" he said, regrettably.
Then Nyru and Claudia arrived back. "Finally decided to join us again, Nyru?" asked his sister. He decided not to bother replying, it was their common sibling quarrel. "What did we miss?" he then asked, smothering his face with his hands for that refreshed feeling. After a slight pause in the air, Nyru half expected no reply until Isabelle finally said "The Black Jewel" she then nodded in the direction of Charles who was coming back down from a very tall ladder. He held a chest about the size of his own chest, and held it before him by giant handles on either side of it. "Please, don't stare at it for too long" Charles said, lookign to each and every one of them before he pulled a key from around his neck and unlocked the padlock. As it opened with a creak, within were dark blue velvet fabrics, he pulled them away to reveal a very jagged and large stone. It was like an abyssal black crystal, like a deathly version of quarts. Within, there was a faint crimson glow within the cracks. And slowly but surely a very fine, shadowy smoke was trying to crawl out from the chest. Isabelle stared, wide-eyed at its magnificence. She had never seen a real jewel before. Even the ones in the the Jewel Tower are kept locked on top of their pedestals within intricate bindings. But this one... it was bare. Nyru was staring too, and whilst he did so it was as if the world around him was pointless. He paid it no attention, staring deep into the stone it seemed to stare back at him as he could hear whispers reaching out to him.
He had to shake his head furiously, shaking away the voices, shaking away the stare it gave him so he coudl return to reality.

There were drums in the air as she started to dance, Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands. And we danced on into the night! ━━☽Ɍυɼ'Дɖɩқą Дɖɖąɧąɼɼą☾━━
The silence was heavy as they waited, she was beginning to wonder if Charles was going to show them at all from how long he pondered it. Adi was really beginning to be curious and anxious at the idea of this jewel. Knowing next to nothing and then to know that the person that had it tucked it away, with people wanting to take it off his hands on his door step. Charles reserve wasn't boding well, but then he gave the answer they wanted as Nyru and Claudia came walking in.
Glancing their way she didn't ask any question of them figuring it was a partner thing as the air between them was different. Her attention was instead on the box that the wolf had brought down and speaking of a warning. Raising a brow she let the siblings banter as Adi's focus was still on the jewel. Even before the velvet wrappings had been drawn back, before the lid was open, she heard them...staring out softly but now sounding as if right behind her...the whispers. Nothing that she could understand, however there none the less that made the hairs at the nap of her skull tingle.
"Hmm..." droned the curious Gypsy as she pondered into it's dark surface with the same slight golden glow in her chocolate gaze. Onyx surface with crimson glow...the presence it gave off was enough to make any person shiver, she certainly did. "...so much fuss over a Jewel..." Adi murmured in a monotone sort of way that was odd for her, however still the sweet sound of it still present.
Without her really realizing it, the young woman was reaching out to it. In the same moment, a slightly glow beginning in her fingertips and palm; the same golden dusty glow that was in the Inkwell and on the city streets when they first met however smaller and more refine. It covered Adi's hand as it finally rested above and to the side of the Jewel, hovering just shy of touching it. The moments seemed to tick by slow as ever however, it wasn't long at all either. For it didn't happen much after reaching out with that light covering her pale skin that a spark of something jumped between Adi's hand and the Jewel, cracking like electricity and with a snap she jerked back with a cry of pain.
"Ahhh!" she exclaimed stepping back and cringing while holding the shocked hand that was painfully shaking in her grasp. The expression on Adi's face firm yet pained as she scowled at the Jewel. "...what the hell was that? Damn Jewel doesn't want to play nice..."
Adi though in her head was yelling and cursing to the darkness there. She hadn't realized she was reaching out and doing just what she was till the moment of the shock and spark from the jewel. The young woman wasn't an idiot, she knew the voice hidden within her head was the cause...but worried her was the fact that she hadn't acted on her own.
☽━━☆━━☾ Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place, you could tell how we felt from the look on our faces. We were spinning in circles with the moon in our eyes. No room left to move in between you and I. Our voices rang like the angels sing. We forgot where we were and we lost track of time, And we sang to the wind as we danced through the night. And we danced on into the night!
