My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): sister Race (first choice): flutter Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Bits of his mane and tail, carefully plucked by Solas braided with bits of the wicker of Gael, Aleda and Lynnesse' baskets with a shell Linaiha donated from her hair piece. Bits and pieces representing his family, to call Lyonesse home... or at least to him. Short IC Response: The star had returned to shine over the kawani once more. Though it was selfish, he felt the need to return once more, to wish, not for himself and his princess the blessing of children -they had finally been fortunate enough to start their family. And he had even been blessed enough to be reunited with the daughter he had believed dead, all thanks to the star.
'I know I have no right to come before you and ask for anything more, you have already given me more that I deserve, but...' he took a deep breath. 'I had a sister who as good as raised me. She was more a parent to me than either of ours. She always wished for the best for me. For me to be happy. I have my own family now, family I adore, and I just wish.... She would love to meet them. I would love to see her again. To show her what I have achieved and what I have become. I just wish I could see her face again.'
'I m not unhappy, don't get me wrong. I am far from discontent in my life. I just miss her so. My Lyonesse. I know there are others out there who deserve their wishes more, but I only hope you can see fit to even consider my wish.'

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: My mother is a musician and my father is a self-styled hero, and they taught me to be heroic and have a strong desire to help others, but also to be humble and know when to listen to the world around me. I like adventures, but I don't like to travel far from home. I do enjoy pulling pranks and know how to laugh when I'm the butt of the joke. 10 Things I Like: Feathers, claw feet, bright colors, bold patterns, wild hair, short hair, lines, speckling, blues, golds 10 Things I Don’t Like: colors too dark to see details, black, long hair, long tails, shaggy fetlocks, evil-looking wings or tails What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Nova leaves a a bundle of his feathers tied with some of his hair and sprinkled with gold flecks scraped off his little bot. He sings a soft song over it in the hopes of the friendship to come.

A True FriendWho is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Ophelia's tongue smoothed over her mouth, eyes dark in thought. "I have a… calling, for lack of a better term. A goal that most would find unfeasible. There are creatures in this world who would inflict pain to satisfy their own demented cravings, who actually enjoy the act of destruction. If no one else will step up to punish those who have done their fellows an ill turn, then I will lead the charge." A smile flickered across her face then, slight and self-deprecating in nature. "But I am not so full of pride and arrogance that I imagine I can accomplish this monumental task on my own. The cause requires those who are like-minded, individuals that can bring strength and swift justice to the fore. They will answer to their conscience first, and then to me, if they so choose." 10 Things I Like: Feathers, greens, naturals, darker colors, custom horns, extra "fluff" on the body, scales, understated fangs, unicorn/kirin tails, cloven hooves. 10 Things I Don’t Like: Overly bright colors, "stamp" patterns, maneless Soq, full-body clothing, unwieldy or nonsensical accessories, excessive gore, roman noses on drafts, beaks, clutter, Minis or Mers (for her own purposes, as they would not be useful fighters). What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of the long, dark red feathers she wears in her hair. It is a vanity she can afford to spare in the event that her wish is granted.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): Troll (regular) Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind or Cerynei. No unicorns please. What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of the teeth from her necklace. Short IC Response: The large elder looked up at the star with a thoughtful expression. For so long she had lived her life away from her family. Ever since she left her small village, Malis never thought she would miss them. Yet her mind drifted back as she gazed upon the star. Her sister, a fierce hunter, tiger prowling by her side. She would adorn herself with leather and feathers when she went scavenging for items to bring back to the herd. They matched in looks, though her sister shared the pale hair of their father. The younger sister was always teasing, tugging at red dreads when felt like Malis wasn't paying enough attention to her. The elder smiled at the memory. It was about time she found out what happened to her sister, Louku. She was unable to visit her family now, there was too much going on currently within her own herd. However, maybe if she wished upon this evening star, the spirits would be gracious enough to bring her sister to her.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: UncertRelation: Sister Race (first choice): unikalona Race : Uni What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The skull of their father that dangles from his chain Short IC Response: Disillusion shakes his long mane out of his pale hued eyes, the black based orbs shift as they catch sight of a falling star, he was never one to believe in such superstitions but he still longed for the missing link in his chain, in his dreams still was still apart of their world, not passed on to the next as he believed. With a sharp flick of his spade tail, the skull he had worn around his neck for so many years now lay at his hooves, staring a gaped at him, jaw unhinged open. "I offer you my last piece of any family I know, in hopes to find the only piece of family thats mattered." The urge to crush the skull of the murder of the only family who had shown him love, he would trade it all to know she still lived. His sister.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother Race (first choice): Uni Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular, but with a scar where a uni horn would have been would be wonderful if she absolutely couldn't be a Uni - she really needs to be unicorn or close to as Sohalia is a Uni What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Sohalia didn't believe it was possible for her mother to be bought back at all, she was doing this as a way to attempt to get over her mother's passing which had ruled her life ever since. She gave up her pendant, the one thing she had of her mother and a daily reminder that she wasn't around any more, leaving it on the ground where she made her wish.Short IC Response: (( OOC: Sohalia believes (has since foalhood) that her mother was killed due to the actions of her father - I would like one day for Sohalia's mother to be found again, having been helped to escape being killed for doing what she thought was the right thing and had gone into hiding all these years )) Sohalia looked at the sky, the twinkling lights that dotted the night sky seeming to mock her, mock her foolishness. Of course a silly star wouldn't bring her mother back, did anything have that much power to return the dead? Maybe the Wishing Star could bring her peace though.
"Star..Wishing Star? I mean, if a star can even hear me." she sighed for a moment and then carried on talking to the air, self-conscious of being caught standing there, talking to no one.
"Please help me. There's ice covering my heart, and it's been there since I was young. Even the one that I thought was the one who would break through and warm it, he didn't really manage to, just expose enough so that it hurt when he went away. My children.." she paused again, a lump had formed in her throat and she swallowed hard before continuing.
"They did not get my full love. And that was wrong. So please, if you can do anything, anything at all. Take away my pain, help me melt the ice that prevents me from loving and feeling loved. I am afraid that if it doesn't go, if I cannot move on, I will die alone."
There. She'd bared her soul, in what was possibly a fruitless attempt but it was done. Sohalia turned, about to head away and then she turned back, looking up at the sky again.
"But in case you are in the mood for a miracle..I miss my mother. She was taken from me too soon. Can I have her back? Please. Please"
And feeling for all the world like a lost little foal, Sohalia headed for home, leaving the pendant to glint in the starlight.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother Race (first choice): regular Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): unicorn What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Agares is an incredibly superstitious stallion, and believe that leving a drop of his blood will help the wishing star - and the spirits - find his lost mother. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Agares stood in silence for a long time, pondering what he could possibly tell the wishing star that would allow his wish fulfilled. His life was in utter disarray. He felt as lost and helpless as he did that fateful night so long ago when he as a foal fell victim to an accident that changed his life forever. He felt that he needed his mother now, like he did then, to guide him through the shifting shadows that had become his life. Tears fell from his white eyes as he whispered "Please find her and bring her back to me. I am... lost. Utterly lost. The ground is shifting beneath my hooves and I need her steady guidance and love."

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Kusuma looks up at the sky. Her mind turning as she tries to think of how best to describe herself. " I have a very fickle nature.. I can be talkative and then the next day be silent. I am very spirited.. Always been a bit stubborn and I that is where my little Eyota got that streak from." Smiling she thinks of her two daughters. Yet even with her children she has been terribly lonely. Titus being her only friend." More than anything I would love companionship. Someone who wouldn't mind my quirks and who wouldn't push me when I don't feel like talking. That is my desperate wish." 10 Things I Like: Long hair, Dark coloring with light markings, Feathers, daggers, Celtic markings, Tribal markings. Wings, Horns, feathering on legs. Scars 10 Things I Don’t Like: Snakes, mean people, scales, pink, Bridles, Bites, Ear piercings, torn ears, Axes, Evil What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?Walking up the steps she drops a lock of her hair along with a necklace that is very dear to her as it was her mothers. My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): Regular Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A bit of hair Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? As with many nights, Engel looked to the sky. Was this the same sky his sister was looking at, where ever she was? He frowned, looking for a moment back at his mate and sons, feeling a pang. His sons knew what it was like to have their brothers around, and his mate... Well, he hadn't heard her say anything about missing HER brothers and sisters. Engel only had the one, though.
The horse started walking through the grasslands, finding a high place. As he looked up at the sky again, he spied a glimmering star. He knew that star... He twisted around, trying to get some of his tail hair, only going in circles. He let out a puff of air, ears back, before he went over to a bush and used it to get some hair. When he returned to the spot, he waited until the wind picked up, before tossing the bits of hair into it and looking back to the star. "Oh wishing star, how you shine... Please grant my wish..." His ears went back a bit. "I just want my sister here... Please..."

Edit: Mar 17 - 7:06am - Just changing Echo's cert to use her edited one. An Extra GiftParent 1: UncertParent 2: UncertLink to Breeding Permission: Here (( I assume I can use the regular permission entry )) Lifemates: No What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Echo's Song places her beaded bracelets on the ground having taken one from each leg. She got a stranger to bind them together with string. On top of this she also lays a small pile of local flowers and a feather from Drad's mane. She also includes a small piece of each of the baskets that her children have emerged from. Short IC Response: Echo's Song glanced up at the bright star in the night sky. It felt different to stand underneath this wonder of nature. During the past years that she had spent at Dradneos's side the mare had felt a change in both her and the stallion. She had raised her family well. She had come here alone and without Drad's knowledge. It would be her surprise to her mate if something were to come as a result of her endeavor. "I don't know if speaking my heart's desire works or not but if I could ask for your blessings I'd be forever grateful. I know that Dradneos would be thrilled if I were to present him with more foals and I would be ecstatic as well. Please take my wish into consideration," the mare paused before smiling softly. She noses her gift into a small pile before turning away and heading back towards the place that she calls home, filled with an intense longing to see her wish come true.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Aunt Race (first choice): Hippogryph Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Akos nervously sets the small object down. He wasn't sure where it came from, but it was pretty and feminine. He picked things up all the time. Sometimes he made them into things, sometimes he added them to what he was wearing. This one . . . this one was special. It looked so delicate with the small beads and tiny carving. But it was solid and strong and held up well even after he had been carrying it for several days. When he saw the wishing star, he knew it was exactly the right offering. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Akos looks up at the wishing star. "I know I've been blessed. I have a great family. They took me in and raised me as one of their own. I had sisters and a brother and . . . I can't complain, really. I always knew I was different, but I was also always loved. But . . ." Akos shakes his head with a sigh. "But I need to know who I am. Where I come from. If there are others like me. I . . . I'm so different. I have claws and a beak and feathers instead of a mane and tail. I . . . I just want to know."
"And . . . and I want to have someone who knew my parents, who can tell me about them. Was my father brave? Was my mother looking forward to her new children? I never knew them. I had great parents, who took me in, who saved me from the skinwalker that killed my parents and the other baskets with me. But . . . not knowing . . . it's like there's a hole inside me. Please. I don't need much, just . . . someone. Someone who can answer my question."Akos sighs and shakes his head again. He starts to turn to leave but pauses and looks back up at the star. "Thank you. For being there, if nothing else. I suppose it help just . . . just getting it out there, just being able to say those things. I try not to complain, because I know I'm very lucky. So thank you. Even if you can't grant my wish. It was nice to see you, I know you bring hope to many soquili when you visit." This time, Akos does walk away.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Nightingale Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): Kalona-Hippogryph Crossbreed (Her father was a Kalona and mother was a Hippolona cross) Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind-Kelpi Crossbreed (Please no Original Kelpi or Ocra Kelpi templates, if that's ok!) What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Nightingale leaves an offering which tells the tale of her loss; ash and burned wood, the event that separated her from her sister. A few drops of her blood, a symbol of her bloodline, her connection to family. A necklace which belonged to her sister. A blue feather from her own head. Short IC Response: With a glance up at the great star, Nightingale laid out the items she had brought for her offering. She picked up a flat stone the begin, laying it on the ground before her. Nightingale had chosen a spot clear of obstructions that would block her from the star's view, high up on a cliff -- it was the closest she was able to get to the star from where she was. She lifted her eyes to gaze up at the star.
"Wishing Star, it brings me relief to see you in the sky after the land had been ravaged by flame. Many died, many were injured, and many were separated from their families. I humbly seek your aid, if you see me worthy."
Nightingale picked up ash she'd collected in singed leaves, setting it on top of the stone, along with tree bark that had been blackened by flame. "I first offer you this. The bark of a burned tree, and the ash of destruction. It is what led to the loss of my sister. I believe she is still alive, but in the chaos of the fire, we lost each other and cannot find our way back."
She then brought a claw to her leg, making a deft cut across her flesh; not enough to bleed out, but enough to extract some blood. She held her injured leg above the stone and allowed drops of her blood to fall onto the ash and bark. "I offer you my blood, Wishing Star, for it is what connects me to my sister. The same blood which runs through my veins runs through hers."
A necklace was set atop the pile of ash and blood, silver in color with a purple gem that matched the rich purple gems of Nightingale's own necklace. "This necklace was all I have been able to find of my sister. It is a symbol of my hope. I discovered it far from where we had been separated, which leads me to believe she lives still. I hope to return it to her when she is found."
Nightingale stared down at her meager offerings for a moment, before she bent her head down and plucked a blue feather from herself and lay it on top of the pile. "Here, too, is a piece of me -- because without my sister, I am not whole." She swallowed heavily and looked up at the star again. "I beseech you to... I..." she faltered, her efforts to remain collected and speak eloquently crumbling under emotion, words lost to her. "Please help me find my sister," she finally whispered.

A Miracle FoalParent 1: UncertParent 2: UncertLink to at least one RP that indicates them as a couple: SaviourLink to approval post of the owner of the other parent: HereWhat does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A tulip, the first spring flower she's seen grow this season. Short IC Response: It was such a beautiful evening as the mare trekked over to the fabled altar of the wishing star once more. It was becoming more and more of a second home for the little alpha mare, a spot filled with so many dreams and beautiful memories, now living with her as her children. A part of her always felt guilty, coming here and wishing for more and more miracles for her and her lifelove, Cuauhcoatl. Yet...with the inability to have children of their own aside with other partners...was it really so selfish as she felt at times? The clip clop of little hooves made her heart soar...even when they became huge hooves of regular soquili and not that of her usdia gifted children. Standing before the altar she set down the precious cargo, the first tulip she'd seen spring from the snow in their herdlands brought in some time ago into the temperate rainforest terrain to remind her of their first home in the mountains. "Hello again, Wishing star. Its me, Ikinya. I brought for you this season a memento of spring, the first tulip I've seen breaking through winter's hanging grasp. It reminded me of the first child Cuauh and I were blessed with...not by your powers...but it was a miracle all the same to be gifted Adom. He very much was like this tulip - thriving against the odds stacked against him in this change of season. It opened my eyes to just how amazing children were, and although our family is big..." She chuckled, "...So very big....Our hearts have the capacity for so much more. If you have any wandering souls in need of a home, we'd be so very glad and honored if you found us fit." Searching the skies above, the little mare smiled and dipped her head deep in a bow before making the long trek back to her herd lands in the quiet of the night.

Short IC Response: xxxxx Spock frowned as he watched Jim move forward and up the hill. His head tilted lightly to the side as he watched his T'Hy'La. He was confused as to what the regular Soquili was doing. After a brief moment, he moved forward, until he was standing along side the stallion. Jim's head was tilted back to stare up toward the sky, his eyes locked on a rather bright star up ahead. The Vulcan frowned before his eyes moved over toward Jim, eyebrow arched slowly. "What is it, Jim?" Spock asked, his ear flicking.
xxxxx Jim grinned at his lover, his short tail giving a flick, before he bumped his shoulder against Spock. He let out a small chuckle, before looking back up to the sky. "Just heard some rumor about people making wishes to that star up there, and then their wishes coming true." Spock's eyebrow rose slowly, silently inquiring him to continue and explain what they were doing with the red bandana on the floor. "You have to leave a token for the star. So I'm leaving that. We don't need it right now anyways, right? I'm just wishing that our family can begin. Ya know? I'm ready for a kid, Spock. I know you're apprehensive, but I want a little foal running around my legs and falling all over themselves and getting flustered and... and..." He sighed, shaking his head, Spock wouldn't understand this.
xxxxx Spock watched his lover for a moment, before leaning his head to nuzzle at Jim's throat for a moment. He lifted his head, staring at the star for a moment, his head cocked. "... Then for you, Jim, I do hope your wish comes true. Come, we must return to the hot springs. I grow tired." Jim smiled, before turning slowly and nodded, walking alongside Spock toward the home they had made at the moment.
