"Of course I will." Sherry's smile was as not sad as she could make it. Nevada didn't even have to ask, she'd planned on cleaning the girl up as best she could. Sadness tugged at her heart again when Nevada mentioned the loneliness of the quiet, something Sherry had felt before but only briefly. But Armagnac had come back. No, this was something Jake could relate to much better.
"We are," she smiled again, standing. "He came to his senses, just like you said he would." It was meant to be something of a joke, but Sherry wasn't feeling very funny.
"I am going to go grab some supplies. You two wait here for a minute." Sherry glanced at them both, then turned and headed down the hall. She'd just grab all the things she needed and if anyone argued with her, well, she wasn't in the mood to put up with it.
