"Cowards run. Heroes FIGHT."
Flash moved enough to make the lunge at his face merely a glancing blow. Just enough to draw a little blood.

It would make a fantastic story when he went back. See! The people who helped run the city were evil. The proof was written in his soon to be battle wounds.

Now in close proximity, Flash reached out to punch the other in the gut. This was what he had been waiting for, after all! A good fight to work off some of the rage in his system.

Fox could feel the air leave her lungs as Flash's fist pummeled into her abdomen. It was accompanied by a loud and harried 'ooph' sound. Luckily there were no sounds that indicated he'd managed to crack any ribs while he was at it, and her weaponless hand now darted for another, smaller blade, quickly producing it to make, what could very possibly be, an in vain attempt to use their closeness to stab toward his kidney.

This was not how she planned on her evening going.

Then again, most nights with Flash never went the way she'd imagine they would.

Flash was fairly certain he needed his kidneys, but thankfully managed to dodge any real damage from her slashes. In fact, this is how the fight continued on...each exchanging blows that did no real lasting damage int he long run minus cuts and bruises. Battle wounds to add to the numerous ones they already wore.

The fight raged on, and there was a point in which it looked as though Flash would win. He'd like that, finally ending the life of the Audio before him and moving on with his plans uninhibited. She was his enemy, and all these attempts to be nice to her well....they never ended well. Honestly...he didn't want them to end well.

No, he wanted to END this....

The light from the only street light suddenly went out.
Yet Flash hardly noticed..he fought on.

It was only when the street was suddenly FLOODED in light that Flashover took notice.

An unmistakable whistle announced the arrival of the one Flashover wished didn't show up. The one labeled a traitor.

He let the wires on his tail disengage the control box to this block's lights. The charge he had given it would give it power long enough to hopefully chase off the other Audio. After that, darkness would claim this block again. The darkness always reclaimed everything in the end.

He whistled his nameless tune again, approaching Flashover from behind. With the female in front of him, the smokey Audio was essentially trapped. He always wiggled his way out in the end...but it didn't hurt to try, right?

"Name's Glitch."

"FOR THE LAST GOD DAMN TIME, I ALREADY KNOW WHO YOU ARE! You damned traitor!"
"Oooo...touchy.

Fox would have loved to hear his logic on how there had been any real 'niceness' from him on this day, but for now, she panted, breath laboured and almost certain that this wasn't going to end well for her. So involved in what was going on, the lack of light barely registered with her. No. Her head only snapped around when the sharp whistle cut through the air.

Her face curled into a bit of a tight lipped smile at that point, Flash caught between herself and the Glitch. It was a nice to feel like they had the upper hand.

At least for the moment.

"Always late to the party, aren't you?" the question was directed at Glitch, but she really wasted no time as Flash raged at her partner, aiming instead to just end this. After all, she wasn't getting any younger, and he was more of a hassle every day it seemed.

Especially if he kept recruiting.

Decidedly, it seemed appropriate to pay him back for his earlier decision to come at her with her back turned. Procuring one of her knives, she aimed for the back of his cloak, hoping to land a hit to his spine.

"I am not ALWAYS late to the party. Besides, I was busy! Things to do, machines to run, you know how it is."

Flashover didn't look pleased to see him. That was okay! Glitch just grinned, then points over his shoulder.
"Miiiiiiight want to look out behind you."

s**t. He had left his back turned. Flash moved to go, but he wasn't fast enough to completely dodge the attack. A yelp sounded as the knife dug it's way into his shoulder.

Whatever. He'd get Ash to help him with it later. What mattered now was escaping and regrouping. With a snarl aimed at the two, Flash turned to dart off.

And damnit, that knife was coming with him.

Fox didn't bother to respond to Glitch, too focused on just getting this over with. The blade found a home, but it wasn't where she'd intended. Still, his yelp was satisfying.

Her grip on her blade was soon lost, however, as the other turned to flee. Barely keeping herself on her feet, she'd been forced to let it go or possibly end up eating dirt on the ground.

Standing there, panting a little, she watched as Flash bolted off into the night. After a moment she glanced over to Glitch.

"Why do you insist on telling him what's going on?" she gasped a little, finally getting her breath caught up.

"Actually, nevermind." she didn't want to hear the excuse. She needed to get going, and replace her damn blade.

Flash, you were one lucky a*****e.

"I dunno...it seemed like the right thing to do? And he left! That's good right?"

The light on the street gave out...Glitch had only provided it with a low charge. Once again the abandoned block of street was dark.

Glitch just whistled.
"I'm Glitch~ "

"I know you are." the audio groaned a bit, more from pain than the repetition of his name.

"C'mon Glitch, lets go home." getting some composure back, she motioned for Glitch to come with her, heading back from where they'd come from. She'd catch up with Flash again another time.
