Emer orderd a cup of mint choclate chip, looking over towareds Laial, "I think you'll like it, it's my favorite." She winked over at the boy turning to ask Kale how he liked his and started to laugh again.

The giraffe boy's face was covered in icecream, his large dark eyes wide as he looked up at them threw his long dark lashes. His slowly smiled, his tail swishing back and forth widely, "It's yummy!" He cried out, he was so happy his ears where quivering. Kale turned his head looking over at Laial, "How is yours?"

Emer wionced when Kale used her outer hip to whip his face clean, but she blamed herself for not being prepared like Maji. Emer looked over to the side and grinned. A playground with a fish theam. Slides, swings, a merry go round, a sea saw, even those horsey things on gaint springs that you rock back and forth, excpet shaped like colorfule tropical fish. Everything a kid could want to play on. "Hey, when your done, you guys want to go over there?" She motioned with a nod of her head, her short hair swaying as she did so.

Kale looked over at the park and clapped his sticky hands, he looked back over at Laial, exctiedly. "Come and play?"

Kale went bolting after him, jumping belly down onto a swing, and streaching out his arms and legs to let himself swing back and forth. He laughed as he felt the wind move threw his hair and around him as he moved threw the air. Tumbling out a few moments later he settled into the warm soft sand and started to pile it up into a huge mound, he dug dwon some until he found the wet sand and started to use that, patting and forming it into the shape he wanted with his hands. "The dark sand is the best sand to use in making stuff." He looked up at the older boy and smiled, proud that he already knew that.

Emer looked over at Maji, slowly moving her spoon threw the mint choclate chip icecream, "So, what got you into this? It's not like D-corp advertisies it's exstiance, so how do they get parents for thier kids normally?" She was curioues how everyone else became gaurdains of these intreasting children.

Kale looked up and blinked, his head tilting curoiesly. "Why not want to play in sand?" His hand stilled on the very round lump of sand that was his castle at this point.

Emer's eyes narrowed then shook her head, it must be her imgnation. "Orphues and I use to work togther a long time ago, he contacted me about a new opertunity." She glanced over at the two kids. "I never thought it would be anything like this."

Kale blinked again, then srugged and stood. "Okay, what do you want to play on?" He stood brushing the sand off his hands, smiling over at him, "We go play where you want to play."

Emer nodded taking a small bite of her icecream, "Yeah, and a teacher. His classroom is this huge room that looks like a chunk of forest that was set into a glass dome." She didn't mind answering the questions, mostly becuse she wasn't telling the woman anything that wasn't already common knowledge.

Kale nodded, easily distracted from the sandbox, immedatly hopping out of it and running to the bars with Laial. He stopped behinde Laial waiting for him to go up the bars first.

Emer staired at her hat, had been for the past few moments just watching the bumps appear and disapear. "Yeah..... Something about him helping the kids learn the differnt atrabuts thier DNA gives them."

Kale watched, fascnated with how he was able to move with his tenicales. "Wow, I like all your arm thingys. You must be able to build LOTS of things."

Her shoulders saged a bit, "He sleeps about two three hours a night, and takes a half an hour nap to an hour in the day time. That's all he needs. And I really miss sleep."
