Zodokai Yes, but the rules will also be there for us. I mean... us regulars have made the thread sloppy with flamings. sweatdrop True. (I'm not really a part in the "us regulars" because I've only been here for a week, but you know what I mean.) The regulars (this time including me, because I'm regularly on the thread lately, but not a regular of the majority of the time yet) need to chill out and just try to coax the newbies to our rules if they're not paying attention to them. *shrug*

If I ever get up to that "regular" status and would ever be considered for something like that if we have to deal with something like that again...I would want to be taken off the list...I don't want that kind of responsibility either. I can't make sure I'm on enough, either. But the point - it sounds good.

Wow. I'm highly honored at being a nominee for this. whee
It definitely needs to be done. I can talk to Lolli, Mina, or Semir about deleting the Un-Official so we can create a new one and explain to them why it's valid. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind doing so.
It's funny, because I've been thinking that we need a new Green Day Official thread for a while, especially because the creator is literally never on Gaia anymore.
Thank you so much to Zodokai for the wonderful suggestion that we move on from our Un-Official and move up to Official!
Honestly though...Zodokai, I think you'd be the best as creator. Your heart and soul is in it. =)

By the way, Lolli, Meena, the regular members of the Official Green Day thread have been talking about starting a new Official one, since the person who made the "Un-Official" thread is never on gaia, so we can't edit the first post. Would either of you be willing to bin it when/if we decide to bin it? Responses: Lolli is MEAN! Doctor MEAN! certainly. starting anew is good. D; S'pecially with this forum. It wasn't that big of a deal on my part. xP

Whoa. I need to stop randomly leaving when all the fun stuff happens in the guild. gonk
and I'm happy that I'm on the nominee list too.
But anyhoo, I say we can all create the thread, one post per person on the first page, that's nine on the list I think, and we can have one post per cd maybe? Sorta like how we have a bunch of Album threads here, except we could condense it a bit to just the tracks/release date/whatever. And then maybe Happy Bunnie, if you wanted to, could still make a post. About a cd. So it wouldn't be as big of a responsibility.
And then we could have someone to make an introduction too? Maybe about a bit of the band's background? I vote not me. I'm scared of first posts.
I think that would also cut down on all the people who quote the first page .
And it would include everyone.
Dunno, just a thought.
