As Jerry leaned in, Chantelle didn't lean away, surprised, that was apparent, but not offended, reciprocating as soon as her brain seemed to catch up with the rest of her. She gave him an impish little smile.
"Does that pay you back a little?" she said, biting her lower lip as she eyed him, something wild eyed and thrilled about her expression. She hugged the flowers to her chest like a princess with a bouquet. "I've never kissed a boy before." she admitted. "That was nice. Nicer than in the books."

"N-no?" His voice wavered, his hand shaking as he pushed his glasses up again. "I'm n-not exactly the ah.. b-best specimen ahaha um." He pursed his lips, heart still in his throat. "I was worried you'd ah..."

"Worried I'd what?" she said with a chuckle. "Jerry I like you, I really do. I trust you too, I don't think you'd ever do anything to hurt me, and I wouldn't do anything to hurt you like, I'm not afraid." she beamed at him, all perfect white teeth. "And you shouldn't be either."
She raised a quizzical eyebrow at him, amused. "I can still hit you if that's what you'd like."

It was all the go ahead she needed, leaning in, hesitant and flighty but clearly still riding the buzz of the kiss prior into getting close, taking hold of his chin gently in her long fingers, drawing him into another more leisurely kiss. Something about it was like her piano playing, careful but deceptively experienced, wandering the line of natural talent. She dragged it out as long as was modest to, her free hand on his chest.
When she broke the kiss it was breathless and giddy.
"There you go big bad wolf." she gave him a wink, her tone still uncertain and shaky with adrenaline. "Another kiss."
She took a slow deep breath, looking away again. Subject change was in order. "We. Um. We..wh..when are the tickets for?"

Jerry drank in the kiss, his hands sliding around her waist hungrily. Human contact was such a valuable thing. For some it was easy to find, but for him... it was always a terrifying but intoxicating thing that friendly hugs and handshakes just didn't quite fill. A soft noise in his throat as his lips moved to her cheak, her chin, down her neck, his hands sliding up her back to tangle in her hair. "Val.... valentine's day..." He managed.

"Good." she said, low and patient, reaching up a gentle hand to take Jerry's, drawing it carefully out of her hair and interlocking their fingers instead. But she didn't deter him, merely guided him, leaning back her head enough to leave her neck open to his kisses, clearly revelling in the attentions. "I can't wait." Her breathing was shallow but rapid as she finally mumbled, with a smile. "We should save some eagerness till then ~"

"I... we... y-yeah... yeah..." Jerry panted, head swimming as he forced himself to pull back, although it was difficult. She smelled heavenly. She was so warm and soft and his heart ached to curl up beside her and just, "You... you smell so good," He managed weakly.

"I know, I feel the same way about you. " she said, her voice strained and quiet. She allowed herself one more lean in close, both hands holding his jacket, keeping him close, yet at bay just enough and mimicked his gesture from before, except this time kissing up from his throat, across his scars to linger on his cheek before drawing back. She had to stand on tip-toes to even reach. She let her hands trail down along the hem of the coat, brushing lower fleeting before she stopped and withdrew as if startled. "I like...I like... can't get enough. But. But. We have to take it slow. I don't want to freak out and upset you. One step at a time."
She stepped back, ruffled looking. "I look forward to lots more kisses though. As much as the musical. And I'll dress up nice too, can't let you be the only fancy one."

Jerry gave a soft noise, wobbling on his feet as her hands slid over him, her lips caressing him- his body, naturally, responding to the stimulation he was so starved for in ways he couldn't control.
At her startled response he blinked back into reality, his face going red once more as he pulled his suit coat shut in front of him, "I... you... we... yes!" He squeaked before turning on his heal to run down the hall with a slight limp.

"Bye Jerry love!" she called after him as he limped away. "See you Valentines!"
Only when he was gone did all the mirth and happiness seem to drain out of her expression, reverting to the blank indifference that was the most marked trait of Lawrence himself seizing back control.

He picked up the flowers to get them some water and closed the door behind him. He was genuinely looking forward to the musical. As much as he could look forward to anything.
