Your name: Sailornorthstar Bait/Try #: 1/3 ((Don't forget to randomize 1-50)) Sunny happly took the good rod and the bait and looked around a bit before she found a hole and walked over to it Grim fallowed her slowly as he was trying to be carefully not to slip on the ice. He had wanted to stay in the cabin today but Sunny had pushed him outside into the cold. He had started to wish that he was also in a warm jacket like Sunny had.
Sunny sat down at the hole that she had chosen baited her hook and droppedd the line into the water and waited.

Sunny thought she helt a tug on her hook she quickly reeled it up to discover only the bait was gone and hook remained empty. Grim smiled thinking they were done with this Activity. "Sorry Mr. Grim I still have more bait." she said as she baited another hook before plunging it into the frigid water.

She baited the hook one last time and dropped it into the water.
It was another Dud Sunny got up and with a happy Grim behind her she gave back her pole. The two of them were heading back to the cabin when something caught Sunnys eye and she ran to the Sledding Races.

Willa panted and grabbed one of the rods before catching up to Baratro by one of the fishing holes. She dropped the line in and waited.

Willa pulled out the line and was greeted with absolutely nothing. Baratro curiously tilted his head at Willa as she ran over to a different hole and dropped the line in again.
What a strange human.

Nothing again. Willa walked over to another hole to give this one more try before giving up for now. - - - Willa reels in the line and returned the rod to the woman. Hmph, no luck. She wandered back over to the cabin to warm up and take a break before giving ice skating a go.

Well, if patience was the name of the game, there was nothing to do but keep at it. Arissa stood a bit to stretch her legs, though she kept the line in the water. Perhaps the line jiggling scared of a pokemon, or perhaps it might make one curious. She didn't know how a fish would think, When her legs felt better, she crouched by the hole and stayed still again.

Arissa stared at the water and though she saw a pokemon swimming towards her line. This was a different shape from the last one, more fish-like instead of long. It swam too and fro near her bait before apparently deciding against it and swimming off again. Arissa sighed. What did it take to attract these things?

Arissa continued to dangle her line in the water. Ronen was either totally absorbed in watching her fish, or had fallen asleep. Either way, he was sitting still in his sling, which was probably for the best. This could take a while, and if he were bored she doubted she could sit here for much longer.
Another underwater shape swam towards her line again. This one was the longer one she'd seen before. But instead of swimming away, it actually bit her hook. The tug on her line kind of surprised her. Now what did she do?

(Rolling for Dratini: success?)
Arissa tried to remember the brief introduction to fishing she'd gotten when she borrowed the rod. She tugged on the line hard (that was part of it, right?) then quickly turned the little crank on the side. The pokemon on the line was fighting, trying to get away, but she was pulling it closer. As she reeled it towards the surface of the water she could see it didn't look like a fish or an eel at all; the only fins were on its head. With a final heave she managed to haul it out of the water and onto the ice.
Panting, she surveyed her catch as it squirmed, trying to get the hook from its mouth. It was...a Dratini? A rare Dragon-type in an ice lake? How unexpected!

Chris ran over to the ice fishing place. She thought she was early but already there were many tracks on the snowy path. Shoe prints of all sizes.
She got closer and saw a trainer swoop a Dratini out of the hole. "i guess the early bird does get the worm after all."
Chris ran up to the trainer, congratluated her, and ran back toward the cabin.
