Hey, Silver! XD So glad to see a new face around Phonyland, though I'm pretty new myself.
Briarthorn sounds adorable. Would you like to perhaps do an rp between her and Smooth Swing? I really like your Laughter plot!

Thank you. I think she's pretty adorbs myself(oops~ Might have to deflate my head a bit). Sorry if I'm mistaken, but Swing is still a wee one, right? I wasn't really thinking too clearly about it because it was late and I was super tired by the time I finished this up, but I would kind of like an adult to help her out with that particular plot. We could discuss it a bit in detail and see if it can be arranged though. I kinda wanted to have her be a little ridiculously placed and so little ones might not be able to help her as easily.
I do get quote notifications, but I didn't really think that I needed to mention them specifically. It just never occurred to me, so sorry about that! I'll have to hop on AIM later tonight to add you.

Oh, whoops, sorry! ^_^; If you want an adult to help her out, that's fine, I understand! Candy Dandy would probably be great for that; I believe Blue Eyed Mellon plays her and she always seems to be looking for rp.
And about the quote notifications, don't worry about it! I just wasn't sure myself. XD Hmm...are there any other elements you would like to do with another foal, or maybe just rp for fun? If you'd rather focus on just growth, though, I understand that too! Just let me know~

Sorry for the delay. I was in and out most of yesterday so I didn't have time to formulate a good response.
Oh no~ Not at all, I'm quite horrible, really. Completely honest there. =P
It's alright. That was totally my own fault, I really shouldn't do things so late at night. I tend to forget important details. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm not in a rush, so I'll see where I go from here. x3
I could use honesty still. Most of my other ones were already scooped up by someone. Save for Honestly and Laughter (still need a family for Loyalty though, but that one is being done with another person besides myself too). But general foal RP-age could be fun too since I haven't really gotten to play Briar at all. I don't need to shoot other people down to focus on growth. Its entirely possible to have fun and still get that done too. Briar is new and fresh and could really use some friends. So if you want to help out with Honesty, great! But if you'd rather just play and make a new friend, that's great too!

Honesty could be good! We could just start rping and see what element(s) might show up and if you want to use them you can, or you don't have to. Friendship will be an easy thing between her and Swinger, I think. ^_^ Let's see...
Oh, I thought of something else, but it's just a suggestion, of course. I'm not sure why, but most people seem to forget that Purpose doesn't have to be the last thing you aquire for your phony. In fact, if you aquire it before your other elements, they can get their cutie mark as a foal instead of having to wait for them to grow up. That said, if you want, Swing could help Briar find out what she likes doing best and, perhaps through that, her purpose.
Swing's own purpose, I think, will be helping others by supporting them in their passion and encouraging their confidence while never actually being good at much himself. In that sense, we could do an rp about her being honest that he's not really that good at baseball or singing like his brothers and sisters if you likes? So many options! It's up to you, though.
Here's a few plot ideas for Swinger I swiped from my own plot thread in case it sparks anything you might want to try:Kitomyx Plots: Meet, make friends, and achieve elements with other Phony foals...?
My wings aren't broken. - With those stitch markings on his wings, there's a good chance Swinger could be/is teased for their placement. Perhaps he could seem like a horrible flier who broke his wings or maybe some phony who wanted to be a Pegasus so he stitched a pair of false wings to himself. Confident as he is in general, this is one of the rare issues that make him self-conscious. He keeps his wings folded and tucked against his side and thus doesn't fly often. This plot could be used for bullying, loyalty in defending, friendship-building, enemy-making, etc.
Don't get me dirty! - As pale as he is, Swinger doesn't like getting dirty. It's easy to see on his white coat, feathers, and mane/tail. Since he keeps to the ground mostly, it's even easier for him to get dirty, particularly when helping coach others on baseball. Anyone care for a dust bath? >D
Swing life away~ - I'd really like to see Swinger get in on swing music, whether it's dancing, singing, playing an instrument, or all three. This would be on the side of coaching, so he wouldn't be amazing at any of them nor would they have much to do with his real purpose. It's kinda like he's a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none and these would just be side hobbies of his. Still, if anyone would like to introduce him to it or talk to him about said love of swing, all ideas are welcome!
Confidence is key. - Swinger is confident enough in his abilities to help other phonies with whatever their endeavors/purposes/hobbies are. He especially feels confident in helping others learn/play/practice a sport (such as baseball and maybe golf? Swinging sports, heh) because he's very patient. He also like to help others with singing. However, he's only confident in helping others - not doing said things himself. For this reason he can feel kind of talent-less in a family of talented pegasai. Perhaps some phony can help him see that helping, coaching, and cheering others on is his real purpose.

I wasn't referring to my RPing so much as just in general. But really I was just goofin', really. x3
I really wouldn't mind having them just hanging out a bit, but I tend to be slow and stumble really badly when an RP has little to no real goal or aim. Which is probably why a bunch of mine in the past have failed because we had no real destination to work toward. I lost the ability from my youth to amble along aimlessly until I get somewhere I think.
Oh! I know that I don't have to wait for her to grow up to get her cutie mark, I've been working on that already (slowly, ever so slowly). Mostly a lot of brain storming with my boyfriend, Astra and I've even asked Fea Line if she wouldn't mind helping me along with that if I need it since her Hyd is big into plants and so is Briar (just the thorny ones mind you). I've just not decided if I want to solo it or if I do want the assist with it or not. sweatdrop
That actually sounds like a wonderful idea to me, as I didn't really have a full idea for honesty, just sort of a small direction that I would like her to go in. Lying just seemed like one of the easiest ways to go about getting that element done and having a bit of fun with it. I would very much like to do honesty with Swing! (Have I mentioned that I find this little stitch mark to be so precious? ;w; )
Though your plot My wings aren't broken sounds like it could be a cute little plot for them to make friends over. Because I think Briar might sympathize with him on some level, because as I hear it, her saddle is stuck to her back forever. Never to be removed and that's something she has to live with too. Kind of like he has to live with the fact that his wings are a part of him and even though it looks like they've been sewn on, they're there for good. Something about it not mattering what other phony's say and stuff like that. I can even see her poking at them a bit because she's curious about them.
Seems like it could be sweet.

No problem, I understand needing a goal/aim! We can do that.
Haha, I just talked to Maxx and Jun about the cutie mark thing as a foal, actually, because I was curious myself. They said it's technically possible, but they wouldn't recommend it because, for one thing, they have to draw the cutie mark rather simplistic in order to allow it to fit on the foal. Secondly, it's a lot of work for them and the phony's adult stage is more likely to be set in pose where the foal's cutie mark can just be recycled/transferred over. If one just waits until their phony's adult stage for them to get their cutie mark, though, they have more freedom as artists to be creative with both the mark and the pose.
Best of luck with the purpose, though! That sounds very interesting either way, with or without the assist. Poor thing; must be hard looking as fancy as she does as a carousel phony and yet working with thorny plants! Reminds me of that twist on the Shakespeare saying, 'A rose by any other name still has thorns'.
I'm glad you like the idea! Hehe, she can lie first if you like. XD I'll leave that up to you and her. I'm sure it'll be fun no matter what! And thanks! Haha, I was pretty surprised about it when I saw the marking myself.
Ohh, yeah, I found it interesting that their saddles are stuck to them. That could definitely work! Would you like to start it or would you like me to?

That makes a lot of sense. I had wondered about that in a way too because the foals are always in a really odd position, or at least some of them are. Like Briar is on her back and I can imagine that it would be difficult to get a mark on her butt comfortably. I'm not really concerned about it at the moment though, since I have other things to keep my attention! But that's good to know for the future.
Thank you! I'm excited to get the show on the road, but I kinda wanna work on getting these elements out of the way first. I'm determined to have her grow up because she was a gift and I, for one, don't want to disappoint Astra. But I'm also totally excited for her to grow up and join her fellow Carousel Phony's in adultland! I know! It seems a little outlandish because she's so "fancy". At least I think so. I think of all them ornate and gorgeous pony's that are carved and elegant as all get out and here she is... Digging around in the dirt and playing with prickly plants because she can.
I would have been surprised too. Those markings are certainly unique and they just look so precious. ;w;
Oh goodness! Are we doing both then or just one?
Because if we're doing both, one of us could start one and the other the other. But I wouldn't want to explode you, so I just need to know what we're actually settling on here. x3I would love that!

Sorry about the drop off from me, you two, I actually have had no desire to be around this corporate bull-crap that I used to call my favorite website as well as a rather busy year. I ended up getting a new position at my job just before summer started that tends to eat a lot of my attention and drains most of my energy.
Astra has recently been poking at me about getting my Briar RPs done and stuff like that. But I just don't think that it'll happen if I have to log into Gaia consistently. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it's nothing like what I signed up for back in the day. I digress.
My boyfriend and I use google drive to do all our RPing, and I like that a lot. It doesn't require me to log onto anything, and it keeps me up to date at a glance on who's turn it is. So, if either of you are still interested in RPing and wouldn't mind using my/your google drive to do so, I'd be more than happy to play around there. If not, that's cool too! I feel bad that I let time get away from me like this and that I didn't make a greater effort to keep either of you in the loop.
