"Callings are so weird, right?" She asked with a grin, idly swinging her scythe to keep the swarm at bay.
"Like, I never thought I'd be in like... Defense! I always pegged myself a research kinda girl, but when it came time to chose, I just had to say Moon!" Abbi laughed, totally at ease with the course currently. Maybe at the end she would praise herself for her victory, but for now she still thought herself dreadful at it.
When he mentioned Sentai though, things began to make sense a little. The Sentai shows had never interested her, though she was aware of them, but something about them had just never piqued her interest. It was probably because there were other animes with all girl teams who banded together with sparkly friendship that appealed more to her sensibilities, though she had always been open to the idea of watching some Sentai shows. Maybe Milo had some recommendations!
Totally caught up in the idea of their budding friendship solidifying over nerdy shows, Abbi failed to notice that Milo was falling behind. It wasn't until she heard his curse that she whirled around just in time to watch him be swallowed up by darkness. A cry left the girl because even if this was just a training course, it echoed too closely a number of bad dreams she'd had and thus made her all the more worried.
An older Hunter made quick work of the shadows, though he told Abbi a few times she didn't have to help and eventually gave up when she refused to listen to him. Worry plain on her face, the girl followed the Hunter who carried Milo to safety and sat next to him until he woke up, one hand cltuching to the bottom of his shirt.
