Kostya was on his way back from Otto's room (due to the Daily Meals that were rapidly becoming a staple of his schedule) when he saw a giant pikachu wandering through the dorms.
He made a slight face, drawing the strangest connections to why she had been so happy earlier, and wondered what Dylon had done to her, before regretting the entire train of thought.

Another unresponsive door across the way and America found herself knocking on the door of room 113. "Helloooooooo?"

The door barely opened, and one tired bespectacled eye peeked cautiously out into the hallway. Mimsy had not been expecting any visitors of her own; Lucky and Robert could both get in without knocking, and she was not particularly pleased by the idea of either of them having visitors, so it was ultimately out of necessity that she answered the door. "Yes?" she responded, voice sleepily hoarse.

"P ik aaaaaa- chu delivery service!" America beamed her best sparkling kokoro smile up at the other woman. Striking a pose she continued, "Bringing you a variety of delicious and convenient snacks! Just three dollars a box!" Leaning in closer she said in a lower tone, "They're great for positive reinforcement through treats!"

Was this a joke? This was a joke. This was inevitably some way for someone to get back at her for something, Mimsy reasoned. It was fairly common knowledge among some circles that she rarely (if ever) got her own food, so the delivery gimmick made sense, but the costume was a bit beyond her. "Why are you doing this?" she asked, slowly putting her fingertips against the back of the door to quickly close it if need be. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously--then widened at the latter portion of the sales pitch. "Uh...hm. All right. No need to answer my previous question." She disappeared into the room, leaving the door partially ajar, and returned a moment later with three very crumpled twenties in her outstretched hand. If what she said about treats was true, she couldn't risk allowing anyone else to catch onto it before she had the chance to.

America's eyebrows shot up, but she didn't question Mimsy's lightening her load by a good twenty boxes. Instead the Pikachu delivery service just nodded approvingly as she took the money and let Mimsy pick out her boxes, all the while praising the other woman. "I can see you're a person who's not afraid to commit when opportunity knocks, and that's awesome. Carpe diem and all that." She even forgave Robert a little more in her heart. Was this the true power of the Pikachu delivery service? Moneymoneymoney.

There didn't seem to be any pattern or reasoning to the boxes Mimsy chose, but there inevitably was one, because she did not subscribe to the idea that anything was random. "The most optimal opportunity tends to require the most commitment in turn. I am willing when it is worth it." She gave her a small, crooked smile of understanding over her armful of Pocky. "I hope that your current investment is as successful, whatever it may be."

America gave Mimsy a little finger gun and wink, "Right back atcha!" Mimsy was good people. Humming a thematically appropriate song, she shuffle-hopped to the next door over. Knocking, she called loudly enough to be heard down the hall, "Hey, Peyton! Open up! Your nakama is calling to your kokoro because reasons!"

The door opened a moment letter with a wide-eyed Peyton standing on the other side of it. She blinked once at America in her Pikachu outfit, leaned forward enough to peek down either side of the hallway, noted Taym, then straightened back up to rest a questioning gaze on the red-head. "Heeeeey." The vowels were elongated in just such a way that the greeting was a question without actually being a question, and held a certain note of suspicion. Given her little confession of jealousy at the sensitivity seminar debacle, Peyton wasn't exactly eager to run into America, or Taym. Or anyone, really. "I'm going to out on a limb and say Allan as something to do with this." It wasn't a guess. Who else would just happen to have pikachu outfits laying around. "Are you being punished for something?" rejam I am assuming you're still here too.

"It's the Pikachu Delivery Service!" America announced, hands on hip. Above her, a balloon popped, which she valiantly ignored while hoping it wouldn't come out of her take. At Peyton's question, she hopped forward with a secretive, pleased grin. "Naw, I wanted to make the slumber party thing extra good, so I asked him for a way to make extra money this month." Bouncing on her toes, she waggled a box of Pocky, "Just three dollars and so many flavours to chuuuu-se from!"

All things considered, America was pulling off the pikachu outfit pretty well. It was probably the overflowing confidence the other Sun exuded. The balloon popping made her jump, but she was quick to compose herself, tucking a curl behind her ear as America held up a box of candy and rattled the contents. She eyed the Pocky with pursed lips before reaching into her back pocket. "What sort of flavors are we talking about?" The months of having nothing but MREs had taught Peyton the wisdom of stocking up when something good became available.

The motion made America's eyes light up, and she proceeded to point out various boxes, giving the other girl a running commentary, "We got your standard sorts like chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, strawberry, almond. And then we've also got fancy ones like cream cheese, marble royal milk tea, dang and isn't that a mouthful, lemon cheescake, that sort of thing. And we've even got sorts that I have no idea what they are, like this ahhh..." she lifted the box and squinted at the picture, " ...kinako. Who knows what the hell that is? Not me, that's for sure. Which makes it an adventure!"Pause. "For your mouth!"

< An adventure, Halfpint. For your mouth.> Warrick's comment earned him a derisive snort but for America Peyton was all smiles. If the other Sun wasn't going to bring up what she'd said at the Sensitivity thing than neither was Peyton, and maybe they can all just go about their lives without that ever being mentioned again. Wallet extracted, she leaned against her door frame, thinking over her choices. "Got any straight lemon? Or Custard?" Lips pursed, expression slipping into thoughtful lines. "So what did you have in mind for this big slumber party thing?" It wasn't as if they didn't get paid, and until recently they hadn't had much opportunity to go about spending their money. So what could America possibly have planned that would require extra funds?

Shifting her weight from foot to foot in a little dance, America browsed her wares more closely, trying to find either of the requested flavours. "Well snacks of course, we're gonna have so many snacks, okay. And drinks. And then there's food, which, Konstantin makes a really fantastic pizza. So we just need to get him some good ingredients and he'll be happy to." Not that she'd asked just yet or anything. "And then there's getting cute new nail polishes, hair dye, and whatever other fun little girly fads have gotten picked up on the outside." Picking a box up she stared down at the picture with a sudden frown and then put it back, expression lightening as she continued, "I was thinking maybe a Valentine's pregame theme for decorations, because why not? Then there's venue, which...well the basement has atmosphere, but it's the kind that doesn't really work well will themes that don't involve being creepy as ********. Also it doesn't have power. I was thinking maybe a big tent on the roof with lots of mats and cushions. There hasn't been any dragon attacks or anything since I came so it might work. Could probably use the Sun lounge but...well... Allan." Their leader was a joiner and he liked to join things, even things he was not invited to. Plucking out two boxes with a flourish, she announced, "We have custard and lemon chocolate if those'll do ya?"
