Too many comments to make, far too little time.
Instead of taking the obvious gutter route with his question, she clasped her hands behind her back once free of the helmet and grinned. "Coffee works. I can satisfy the chocolate craving with a mocha." Yep. Instead of going for the perv route, she'd just ignore it all together. She was behaving! Sort of. Attempting to. But it was just so easy to... relax, say whatever, and just have fun. Still. She was trying. But as she stood there, waiting for him to dismount so they could head in, she found her dedication to behaving falter as she watched him mess with his hair.
Her limits to keeping her hands to herself were being tested in a horrible, horrible way.
As he got up and secured the helmets, he made another comment that only continued to help crumble her internal walls. Her returning smile was wicked, eyes narrowed and glossed lips pressed tight together as she eyed him as her hands pressed to her skirt clad hips. "Squeezing too hard'll just spoil the fun. Least if it's too soon~" Turning with a flick of her long hair, she strolled off towards the entrance of the hotel, pace brisk... but still she glanced casually over her shoulder here and there to make sure Dominic was following. Didn't want to lose him already. They weren't even inside.
But it wasn't hard to find the gathering. After pausing to pay the entrance fee--for both of them, of course--Danika handed to Dominic a small ticket the person in charge of admission stated would be used for a raffle. Two winners would be called at the top of every hour till the end of the day. Beyond the table was the door to the mini-convention. Indeed, it was one of the massive rooms the hotel sported on the first floor, the entire thing divided into rows of tables and booths, the aisles between them perhaps a hair too narrow for the relatively large crowd that tried to squirm between them--and the people staring at the various goods. She wriggled where she stood, hopping foot to foot in a spark of energy. She wanted to go. Explore. Shop. See the different materials she could use for her designing projects. Merchandise from her favorite series and characters. But he'd mentioned coffee. Her red eyes flickered this way and that until she spotted an area of the room more dedicated to food booths, and turned to her companion, hand reaching for his without thinking as she started for it. "Just coffee? Or're you hungry, too?" She laughed. "Place has options!"

She never did stop to consider how vivid his imagination could be sometimes, and he was quite literally without words at the "squeezing" comment.
And no, there was nothing subtle about it; at least not as far as he could tell. The youth gulped down the little lump in his throat though, and at least caught up to her when she glanced back the first time. "You seriously have got to watch those comments..." he said in something of a whisper once he figured out how to talk again, a hand running through his now slightly messy hair. Despite himself, though, his lips were actually turned up in the smallest of smiles.
Once they managed to find the place -- it wasn't hard considering it was the only event going on, and there was a mass of people gathered in that particular area that kind of gave it away -- Dani disappeared and came back, proffering tickets. He took his without question and just followed her in.
In truth, he was a little...surprised. It was his first time being at such an event, and so took the time to kind of stare at whatever caught his eye. Lots of booths and stalls with merchandise for sale, mainly, and a lot of people. Probably too many for the width of the walkways between the stalls. The feel of it certainly wasn't as geek-ish as he imagined it to be, which was only a slightly comforting thought. Her question about coffee tugged him out of his headspace though, and he was a little confused when she so casually took his hand and literally tugged him toward the food court. Surprised yet again, sure, but certainly not complaining. He tried not to pay too much attention to it, but he held on.
"I already had breakfast," he said as they made their way to the different stalls. "So maybe just coffee for now?"
Even as he said this his eyes had fallen on a stall that was selling what looked like waffles and other breakfast items, and he kind of absently led her over to it. "By the way," he started, then glanced over at her. "This isn't nearly as geeky as I imagined. You holding out on me 'cause you've gotta pay for the whole day, or something?" And that same cheeky grin spread on his face now, before he turned his attention back to the guy behind the register and started asking about what kinds of coffee they had to offer. Assuming, of course they even had coffee; it wasn't anywhere on the little menu they had on display.Kaefaux I won't apologize again, but... xP; Uhm! You can shove them along in the next post, maybe even time skip a little forward so they can have already gotten stuff done if you want, 'cause I've honestly never been to one of these conventions and wouldn't know the first thing about what to do and where stuff is and that kinda thing. :>
