Jame walked along the Great Hall alongside Astrix, Adria, Cordelia and her cousin Nik. She held on to Nik's hand, almost like a child venturing with a parent. Summer had passed and although Jame enjoyed her time back home, she loved spending time with her friends most of all. "Looks like the sorting ceremony is just about to start. Hehe." Jame giggled lightly as she reminisced her first day at Hogwarts. "Feels just like yesterday Astrix and me met Adria and Delia. Whew! Time sure does pass by rather fast.." Jame looked up at Nik, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "This is Nik's last year..We're going to have to make the best of it." The overwhelming feeling of loneliness that came over her was too much for the petite red-head to bear. She felt her heart shrivel up inside of her. Nikolai was like a brother she never had, her first friend, and she cared about him dearly. Jame griped his hand tighter, trying her best to hold back the tears. She felt Nik's hand over her head. He gave her a reassuring rare smile. Somehow it made her feel better. It was at that very moment that she herd a masculine voice shout out her name. "Eh!?" Jame looked around in search of the source. Her lips curved into a wide smile as she spotted Ellis. "ELLIS!" She yelled back happily. Jame ran towards him and jumped, hoping he would catch her. Luckily, he did. "Ellis! Where were you!?"
At long last the incredibly vexing train ride was over. If anything that was the part Nik hated the most about Hogwarts, besides the sorting ceremony. He found it to be pointless and a waste of time to be present while the first years were being assigned to their houses. He looked around the castle, recognizing the familiar decorations and setting. He glanced at Jame and her friends, who seemed rather excited to be back on campus. He, however, was feeling as apathetic as ever. There was nothing new and nothing to be excited about. Still, he couldnt find it in him to ruin the mood for Jame. Nik placed his hands in his pockets. Unfortunately for him, Jame pulled one of them out. He already knew she planned on holding his hand while they made their way to the ceremony, since it was one of her child-like habits she had never gotten rid of. By this point in time, Nik had already grown accustomed to it. Nik looked down at Jame's upset face. Ah, it seemed that she finally come to the sudden realization that it was his last year at Hogwarts. He knew very well what would come next. Tears. Non-stop tears. Nik was a serious person by nature, it was the way he was and he would most likely never change. But, when it came to the case of Jame Lee, no matter how much he would deny it, he loved her like a sister and hated to see her cry. Without him, she was like a lost pup. Nik gave her a slight reassuring smile. "Don't worry Jame, I'm not going anywhere." He told her warmly. He knew that he had to leave someday, and when he did, he too would miss her.

Evangeline sat alone on her bench, watching the Great Hall fill up and the young first years file in. There was a lot of yelling and excitement which was to be expected on the first night back but she had a feeling the headmistress would settle them soon. They would have to calm down for the sorting. She saw a few familiar faces from her house come in, most she knew by name but never really talked to. She wasn't one to start a conversation, nor was she very good at keeping one going.

As the students entered the Great Hall and found their place at the house tables, Asher looked down the table of professors. In the seat next to him was Andromeda, head of Slytherin and professor of defense against the dark arts. Sometimes he got the feeling that she didn't like him or his wife but perhaps that was just him being paranoid. There were times he got the feeling that certain people didn't like him for no reason in particular and his wife always told him he was just being crazy. It was probably the same in this case, but he still couldn't shake the feeling. He didn't bring it up of course, or ask her about it since he didn't want to disrupt the peace in the work place, so instead, he acted like all was well, and most likely it was. "Hello Andromeda," he said with a friendly smile. "How was your summer?"

Cicily smiled as she walked into the Great Hall, more than happy to be back for another year. She looked over at Joseph who had come in with her and beamed. "Looks like we have to part ways for now, but you should stop by Ravenclaw common room later. There's probably going to be a party and I might be able to get you in." she told him with a wink. "See you later." Waving goodbye to him, she headed over to the Ravenclaw table and sat with her house friends.

As Jame jumps into his arms he grabs her and gives her a big hug. " hey, i was inside the train long before! i saw you guys from my window. Even witness your fall... Jame as clumsy as ever"He laughed as he put her down. i was waiting for you guys to come in, had and empty compartment and everything for us. But then she came in and we started talking." he looks over at Iris and smiles. She's really nice, same year and house as me..Ellis introduces them to each other before he goes and says hello to the rest . "Hey Adria, Nik, .... Astrix." he smiled, until his gaze met astrix. Him and Astrix were bad news together. Not because they hated each other. But that they got along so well.. that if they were left alone in hogwarts for a day it would be destroyed. They were partners in crime. Ellis let out a smile before next introducing the rest of his friends to Iris, A new friend. "How was your summer guys? i can see jame is still the same, child-like and clumsy." he sat down next to iris and invited his friends to sit down.

Adria smiles at Ellis and sees how close he and Jame are. She notices a beautiful young girl in the same table he was sitting in and wondered who she was. As Ellis came and said hi to everyone she smiled. " Hi Ellis! My summer was pretty good, although i missed all my friends! it looks like another wonderful year together doesn't it, guys?" she said to Astrix, and nik. While Ellis introduce them to the new girl. she was happy that another member came to the group. " Hello, I'm adria. Nice to meet you. I'm also a six year and a hufflepuff. She said with a smile on her face.
━━━━━●━━━━━━●━━━━━ Of course, there was no way that anyone could have known that Andromeda disliked any one of the people whom she worked with, because she is a very two faced woman (A stated in personality... .-.) therefor, it was likely for her to be very prim and proper towards the ones whom she dislikes. You have to keep some things a mystery, right? Suddenly, she heard a rather masculine voice coming from the right of her, and she turned. She looked at Asher and smiled "Hello Asher, lovely day today is isn't it?" she said, rather solemnly. The solemn tone in her voice showed nothing against Archer or anyone else, it was simply how she spoke on a daily basis. "I guess you could say that my summer was fine. I ought to ask you how yours was?" she asked, seeming as if she was actually interested to hear about it. ━━━━━●━━━━━━●━━━━━
Oh boy! The ceremony is just about to begin and this'll surely be so exciting for Astrix. Not. With a sigh as her hands slipped inside both her pockets, she casually walked alongside her friends while chewing a piece of gum that she bought from the trolley. Sure Astrix enjoy goodies and sweets but at the same time...not so much. All she ever prefer was sugarless gum or gum from the trolley is all. "Yeah, I guess it does feel like yesterday." She said, looking at her and then away to see the First years passing right by them. "Haha...what a bunch of losers."Without her friends noticing she grabbed her chewed flavorless gum and tossed it towards one of the students, making sure it landed on one or their hair annnnd it did! "YES I MADE IT!" She paused, her hands in the air making the ol' rock n' roll sign while a big smile was on her face. She slowly turned her head to see other students were staring at her with disgusted looks. "What?" She noticed her friends were halfway gone and quickly managed to catch up with them. "Yo peeps wait for me!"

"Yes, the sky is so clear tonight. Very beautiful." Asher said, gazing up at the enchanted ceiling a moment. You could see all the constellations shining brightly as well as the crescent moon tonight. He looked at her when she her summer was fine and asked him how his was as well. "Rather fun actually. Natalia and I traveled to Ireland to visit some of my family for a month which was nice." He heard more students shouting and chuckled. "Is it just me, or are they extra rowdy this year?"
━━━━━●━━━━━━●━━━━━ Iris' eyes widened as she saw a very pretty redhead jump into Ellis' arms. She stayed quit for awhile, allowing Ellis to socialize with his friends. When she was introduced to Jame she looked at the girl and smiled. "Hello, It's nice to meet one of Ellis' friends. He talks about you guys quite a bit from what I've heard.." she said with a small smile. She soon found herself becoming overwhelmed by number of friends that Ellis' had, but soon enough she was sure she would warm up to all of them.. At least she hoped. She said hello to all of them, being as polite as possible before they all sat down near her and Ellis. Iris smiled as she looked over at Ellis and took his hand in hers again. She hadn't wanted to remove it from his to begin with, but she just hoped that he didn't mind.. His friends would surely give him a hard time if either of them had made a big deal out of it, and she hated being put in the limelight.. So she hoped that it would be as subtle as possible. His friends seemed nice and quite humorous, not that it surprised her. Definitely people that she could see herself getting along with... She just hoped that they would accept her into their close-knit group.. ━━━━━●━━━━━━●━━━━━

"That's good.." she said with a smile. Honestly, she could care less. She was younger than all of them, yet twice as wise.. It was sad, really. "They always seem pretty rowdy, don't you think?" she said as she looked around. She noticed many familiar faces and raised a brow. "So when do we plan on starting the ceremony?" she asked as she looked over a Asher, and then to the headmistress. ━━━━━●━━━━━━●━━━━━

As they all sat down, Ellis smiled." So how was everyone's summer?.... Say where's Zenith? I know he doesn't like people but still-" he suddenly stopped when he felt iris's hand grabbing his under the table. He sees that no one noticed and they kept talking with each other.. Ellis gazes over at iris all fluster and then runs his hand through his hair to play of his flustered look. after he went back to normal, Iris still holding his hand he looks back as his friends. So about Zenith...? Where is he?"
Jame gave Ellis' newfound friend a smile. "Hey there, Iris was it? Nice to meet you I'm--" Before she could finish her own introduction, she was interrupted by a sudden sneeze. Jame quickly covered her mouth and nose to avoid any germs flying about. She took out a handkerchief and hand sanitizer to cleanse herself. "Sorry about that hehe..Allergies. But as I was saying, I'm Jame and this here is Astrix and Adria." Jame turned around only to find Astrix already getting herself into trouble. Jame shook her head. "Astrix! Already the first day and getting into trouble." She said with a small smile. "Guess thats just what cool girls do!"
Nik greeted Ellis with a usual nod. "Looks like you havent changed much, Ellis." He said calmly. Nik looked over at Iris. "I'm Nik." He said, trying not to seem too unapproachable. "If youre cool with Ellis, I suppose youre cool with me." The girl didnt seem like a know-it all overachieving Ravenclaw, which if she was, Nik didnt really care. When Ellis mentioned Zenith's name, Nik's left eye twitched. He gave Ellis a shrug. "Dont know, dont care." He had hoped to not associate with that troublesome person again.

"I suppose you're right," Asher said with a soft smile, watching the students as they greeted old friend they had not seen in months. When she asked when they planned to start, he looked at her again. "Hm, I am not sure exactly," he said before looking to his wife. "Darling, when do you plan to start the ceremony? I think we should start soon if we want to get the kids in the common rooms before curfew."

Ellis looked at Nik. "Same to you. you're neutral, serious self." He smirked with a couple of chuckles. he sees Jame trying to make friends with iris and smiles. he thinks to himself that they will accept her and make friends and looks over at iris without her noticing him and sees that she is enjoying herself. She will fit in just fine he believes.
As Jame calls astrix and notices she's already getting in trouble he laughs. " Hey Astrix! sit down and stop being a menace to the first years.... She never seems to just behave does she Jame?" he smiles as he looked at jame.
Cicily searched for a place to sit at the Ravenclaw table and was happy to find Dove already sitting there with an empty seat next to her. She took the seat, giving her good friend a friendly nudge. "Hey Dove, how was your summer?" she asked, glad to see her again. They had been friends since their first year and were still very ckose. She hoped that it would stay that way.
