Mindy's ability to get people to listen to her was not strong, but it was somehow working tonight. As her and the two crew members walked towards the office, she managed to get a couple of more to follow in their path, using her excuse of her boss needing their assistance. Everything was coming up Mindy, until they passed a corridor and the girl dared to look down it. It was the catering hallway.
Boy, was Mindy hungry. She had been so busy setting up the show with Matt today that she hadn't gotten a chance to eat. On that note, neither did her boss, it was probably one reason why he was so irritable today. Her eyes darted between the group of men heading towards the office and the tables full of food. Oh gods, why was there such temptation.
"J-just a snack, Mindy... Just a snack..." She whispered to herself before practically skipping down the hallway. She stopped in front of first table and stared down at the plate of sandwiches laid out. Taking a moment to glance around and make sure no one was watching, she grabbed a sandwich and began devouring it, putting it away in less than a minute in a rather unladylike manner. Then another sandwich. And another. And another.
Mindy's eyes darted about to make sure she was still alone as she went to another table, overlooking all the other better choices she could be making for her dinner. She stopped at a plate of buffalo wings with a look of pure adoration in her eyes. One by one, she grabbed a wing and ripped the meat off of it, tossing the bone aside and repeating the process a few times. Her lipstick was replaced by buffalo sauce by the time she was done, and her fingers were covered in it. Finally, her eyes landed on the dessert table.
Oh, the dessert table. A sight to behold, truly. Cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, tarts, truffles, a chocolate foundation, by the gods it was everything she could ask for! Is this where so much of their weekly budget was going? If so, she was okay with it. Time was still on her mind, she knew she had to be fast. She grabbed a brownie from the table and pushed it under the chocolate foundation, coating the chocolate dessert in more chocolate. It then took the path of the sandwiches and buffalo wings, being swiftly devoured by the young, cute assistant. At least, she was cute when she wasn't eating. She repeated this chocolaty ritual with a couple of cookies, making them disappear as fast as she could. By the time she was done, the buffalo sauce on her lips was replaced by a coating of melted chocolate. If only the world could see her now.
Finally, she spotted the cakes once again. She stared at them with a look of longing, wanting to try the delicious desserts. But... time was not on her side time this, "L-later! They'll still be here...!" She whispered while wiping her lips clean of most of the chocolate with a nearby napkin. Mindy turned afterward and began to scurry back down the hallway, only to turn back around and return to the tables. She grabbed a cup of coffee and snapped a lid on it. She didn't want to return to her boss empty handed, especially with the state he was in tonight. Hurriedly, she disappeared around the corner and towards her boss' office once more.

The sound of machines being pushed aside echoed through the office. Matt didn't seem to notice, he was far too finished on the image on his television. Suddenly, the door opened up to Kelly King and Matt Shanahan, with a dust-covered, disheveled, and chocolaty lipped Mindy holding it open. "S-sir! I got the door open for y-you!" She exclaimed with a rather big grin on her face, hoping she finally impressed her boss. In the process, she completely disregarded the group of crew members behind her that were really confused by everything.
Matt turned his head to stare at Mindy, then turning to look at the chair she was once sitting in. How did he not notice her disappearing? Without a word, he walked over to his desk and opened a drawer, producing a piece of parchment that had a hole at the top; it looked as if a dagger had been stabbed through it. He marched across the office and pushed the note into her hands, muttering, "Contact whoever the ******** put this on my door and tell them I demand to speak with them. I want it done before next week," he hissed at her before walking by, escaping the room that had been his prison. Normally, he would've taken the time to note the two snack machines that had blocked his door; however, normally he wouldn't have to put up with this kind of ordeal. "You got an interview to do, don't forget! And King, get the ******** outta my office!" He shouted over his shoulder.
"S-sir!" Mindy called out to Matt as he walked away, "C-coffee?" She asked, innocently holding out the cup in his direction.
With a roll of his eyes, Matt paced back and took the cup from her hand, taking the moment to get a good look at her, "... Why are your lips covered in chocolate?"
"O-oh! Um, it's not chocolate! It's a uh... new lipstick I'm trying, yeah!"
"And why the hell is this coffee cup covered in buffalo sauce?"
"C-catering uh... had an accident with the buffalo wings?"
The General Manager glared at the young assistant with irritated pupils, looking as if he might actually hit the poor girl. He had so many questions to rain down on her, but he had no time. A champion had just been destroyed, and his belt was defiled. Something had to be done. "... Remind me to fire them then," he murmured before returning to his path down the hallway, marching off towards the main room of the arena. If the Head of Wal-Mart Custom Slacks wasn't going to deal with the problem, he sure as hell was going to.
