Dominic listened as she spoke, the fascination with a talking feline slowly hitting him, causing his smile to widen just a smidge. "I kind figured they weren't," he said with a bit of a laugh. As she went on to explain a bit about her kind and the role they played in the war as a whole he kept right on scratching her head. It didn't surprise him when she went on to say that she didn't know much about knights, actually. He responded with a shrug at first. "Apparently we're a pretty mysterious bunch. As far as awakening goes, I remember mine kind of going like this: I was in trouble, then I zoned out for a bit and saw my weapon, and when I took hold of it I was suddenly wearing my uniform."
He paused long enough that she sprang away, causing him to lose focus for a second and watch where she was going. It was a bit of a relief to see that she didn't just run off, so he stood up and walked over, his hands soon going into his pockets. "I guess in a way we awaken when we're in need of our knightly power?"
Though, if he were being honest, he didn't feel all that more useful in his Page form. A bit of extra strength and speed, sure, but aside from that he was basically still the same.
At her question he paused to think about it for a second, then shrugged. "I haven't really met that many senshi, actually, so I don't have any questions off the top of my head. All I know is that they have magic, which is pretty wicked now that I think about it." Dom paused again, taking a second to glance around before speaking once more.
"So you're probably fine sitting there, but from where I'm standing this is kind of an odd place to have a conversation with a cat. Do you mind if we continue this conversation some place a little more...private? I'm pretty curious about your kind, y'know, talking cats and all that."

It seemed knights were autonomous... his description lacked any second party to assist. Seemed like a useful trait, though it lacked the guidance a guardian cat could bring, the support they offered. Sounded a little lonely, actually... fighting in this war all by yourself, essentially.
"Senchi have magic, as well as strength and speed that far exceeds a normal human's abilities. I think knights are the same, if slightly different. They probably make good teams, actually... when you pair a knight with a senshi. I've never seen it in practice though, so its hard to speculate." Lifting a paw, Ash began to wash her face, pausing part way through as he suddenly asked to move. She blinked at him, then at the alley they were in, and her tail flicked behind her once.
"I suppose a change in location wouldn't be a bad idea." She said as she rose and crouched, making a smooth leap from trash bin to his shoulder. Her tail brushed the side of his face as she settled across his shoulders, her side pressed to his neck. "By all means, lead the way. I think this conversation bears continuing. We could learn a lot from each other, it seems."
Ash purred as she bumped her head against his in typical cat fashion, altogether pleased with how the incident in the cafe had turned out._ p a o cx fin? =3 we can assume she told him everything she knows and they had a wonderful chat.

With hands still in his pocket, Dominic listened and nodded quietly at her reaction. It was only a small bit of insight into senshi as far as her explanation went, but the idea of teaming up with them made a lot of sense. Before he could say much more Ash, having agreed with his idea to relocate, hopped onto his shoulder. It was a bit of a surprise but he couldn't really help but smile as he turned to walk toward his apartment. "Sounds good," he replied as they went.
"As for senshi and knights teaming up, I'll tell you more about my awakening when we get to my place."
Bluefire Dragonz Fin! And that sounds good to me. :>
