"A number of the people who did it where his friends too..." Des just shrugged. "And each time, I've never seen him run like that. ..You know, you two are a lot more alike then you realize... Maybe Luka felt like he could relate to you. Trust in you.:

Des just shrugged. "It's Luka.. He rebounded well enough, I guess..." He then ruffled Alex's hair again. "Besides, Skylar gave them all hell for it so you don't have to worry about it. Though I don't know what to tell you to do Alex." Des watched as Alex just grumbled and pouted. "You don't see it do you. The similarities between you two."

"Again.. Take a break. Don't let people do it to you.. Just take some time to yourself for a change." Des just raised a brow and then, started poking Alex repeatedly in the way that a older brother would pick on a younger one. "If you think it's too late, then fine. But, if that's what you think then you don't know Luka as well as you think you do."

"Alex. We've all had to put up with you. You are a pain in the a**." Des sighed dramatically.. "In a good way though. You taking a few days to think about it won't kill him though. Trust me." He just grinned before poking Alex again.

"I know you might not wanna hear it.. But I'm kinda glad we didn't try anything. I mean.. Can you imagine how awkward it would have been for us if things went bad?" Especially since Cait was almost always bugging Des about something. ...Well, you know.. sans what had happened to her. "Sure, we don't know if they would have gotten awkward.. But assuming that they did. I would have had to go find a new best friend."

"And you thought it was the end of the world when I told you know... I had to listen to you whine about that for ages." He reached over and slapped Alex in the face with a pillow. "Don't worry about your sister. If I know her, she's bouncing off the walls somewhere screaming the lyrics to some anime at the top of her lungs in really really broken Japanese."

...Well he wasn't too far from the truth.

"Not if she's marathoning it she's not. That means ALL the episodes, ALL the movies, ALL the OVAs, And whatever other things are included. God could you imagine how long that would take? Especially if it had several parts to it." Des cringed just thinking about it.

Des blinked, and tried not to stare. Oh, if only Alex knew. "It's possible. Is she danger prone like her brother apparently is? By the way, do you want an ice pack and a heating pad for that? How bad did they say it was."

"I don't know if I have a crutch... but I might be able to figure something? I got some friends in wood working. I can talk to them and see if they have spares or something." It would be better made then one of those flimsy mass produced things. "And just think, it can double as a beating stick."
