 Yukiko Kresnik The day had been rather uneventful has Yukiko had completed most of his duties and hadn't received any new orders. So, seeing as he wasn't one for sitting still, he decided to go for a walk and enjoy some fresh air. There wasn't any particular place he wanted to take the walk at but decided on the wall would be good place. He wouldn't have to worry too much about bumping into anyone other than the occasional Garrison member or anyone else who may be on the wall.
As he reached the top, he saw two figures off a ways down from where he was. It appeared to be a man and a woman. 'Wonder what they're doing up here...' He thought to himself as he began to walk in their direction. He had originally come here with the intention of taking a walk alone, but now his curiosity got the better of him. 'I'm sure it's none of my business...but....' He thought as he continued toward them.

Jared didn't even bat an eyelash at the question as he pondered the question ".......Who knows kid....maybe god did this for the shits and giggles....." he paused for a moment "...Did you know that 100 or so years ago we used to be top of of the food chain, the head honcho's of this world...and maybe god didn't like that we became arrogant and made the titans to knock us down a notch or ten..." he gave another pause as he stared out at the town and the people he fought to protect. It was overwhelming to think that 100 or so years ago the amount of people in the world was more then quadruple the amount and Titans brought them to this.
He then pulled his sword out and aimed it straight in front of him "What do I think though? I think that Titan's are a test to see who is fit to survive and who isn't...." he continued to hold the sword out as he paused "....I don't like it....but those who can't fight will die.....like those cowards in the Military Police..." he mumbled the last part under his breath as he sheathed his sword. He then looked back over at Izzy and rolled his shoulders and stretched slightly "....I suggest you don't think about it though....Fight.Kill.Survive, and save those around you, that's what you should worry about, anything else should be on the back burner...." he stated as looked down and saw a group of kids playing far below.
He then turned his head as a small smirk played at his lips, breaking his poker face at long last "You don't have to take my word though, I've only been doing this for 8 years..." he said, giving a small laugh before phasing back into his poker face as he saw a new guy approaching. He gave a small nod as recondition he waited for an introduction.

Yukiko Kresnik Yukiko wasn't trying too hard to seem like he was curious or anything, he was just trying to take a walk. Nevertheless, he saw that his presence was noted when the male nodded his head toward him. He decided to get a bit closer before speaking up. "Hey there. I hope I'm not interrupting anything..." He said, looking between the two people. "My name is Yukiko, by the way, Yukiko Kresnik." The atmosphere around the two seemed kind of heavy and it made him a little nervous.

Isabella was a little surprised by Jared's answer. She couldn't tell if Jared was joking, or if he actually meant it. If he did mean it, it was amazing that he could say all that with such a straight face. In any case, it did manage to wipe the smile off her face. To think we're all that's left.... She cleared her throat, trying to stop her mind from wandering again. "Some test", she shook her head. Her eyes glanced off to the sky.
Her ears did manage to pick up those few words that Jared muttered, thanks to her heightened sense of hearing and smelling. In truth, she was a coward herself, but she also believed that everyone had some sort of fear within them. Some more than others. Some people faced those fears and some people showed those fears more easily. But in her opinion, that was just a humanistic quality that made them.... well, human. In Izzy's case, she was a coward that faced her fears out of pure ignorance and thoughtlessness.
Fight, kill, survive huh.... sounds simple.... "Heh, I don't think at all...." she half-joked. Before she could utter another word, someone else approached. "Ah, you're not interrupting, Yukiko", she waved. Her smile resumed its normal position again. "I'm Izzy."

Jared turned his head to look back out at the town as listened to the man and Izzy introduce themselves "...Names Jared...." he stated very simply as he thought about what he'd told the girl. He honestly believed this entire thing was a horrible test that humanity would have to overcome. Of course he wanted to spit in gods face for this s**t, to many good people were killed because of this. However he put those thoughts in the back of his mind as he turned to Yukiko slightly "Since your obviously here for fresh air, I'm gonna guess that you haven't gotten any orders either?" he questioned as his face kept it's ever neutral expression. He had just came back from an expedition, so that usually meant the injured could have time to rest, however he wasn't injured.....he was rarely ever injured. And because of this he was usually given orders back to back. He really didn't care, it kept his mind from thinking about the very question Izzy asked not moments before.

Yukiko Kresnik Yukiko nodded his head as he learned both of their names. "Yeah. There wasn't much else to do. So I figured I'd come up here, take a little walk and watch over the walls as I did so." He said, responding to Jared's question. He wasn't much for sitting around, and the lack of any kind of orders was a bit irritating for him. "It's a lot better than sitting around doing nothing..." He then looked out over the Titan controlled land outside Wall Rose. He wasn't one for wanting to go off and die, but he'd rather be doing that than continuing to let Titans have Wall Maria.

Jared nodded his head with Yukiko, he could easily agree that sitting around quickly became monotonous. He calmly turned his head to a pile of crates, having suddenly heard snoring coming from behind them. So without saying a word he quietly stood up and walked around the crates to see a man snoring away "............" the quiet man glanced back at his two comrades and then looked back down at the sleeping man. He then slowly crouched down and cupped his hands around his mouth and lowered his head next to the mans ear. With his poker face still intact he took a deep breath "...TITAN!!!" ....and shouted at the top of his lungs into the mans ear. This was easily a once in a life time event for Yukiko and Izzy since Jared barely spoke normal volume. He figured he'd try to lift the heavy mood.....at the poor guy's expense of course.

Isabella's ears twitched when a constant sound of someone snoring like a snowplow would drift into her ears. Her eyes bounced around, until she noticed a small stack of crates. She raised a brow, and began to walk towards the mysterious sound, but Jared beat her to it. Oh, is he gonna do what I think he's gonna do? she observed him as he cupped his hands together. Hopefully, Jared knew how to handle himself. The last thing she wanted to see was a confused soldier attempting to kill Jared because he thought he was a titan.
It was hard to contain her laughter. Izzy covered her mouth with her hands and bit her lower lip. "PFFFTTTTT." Suddenly, Jared didn't seem like the quiet type at all. Who was she to judge anyways? "You're funny", she chuckled for quite a while before her eyes bounced off to the unknown man, waiting for his reaction.

He jolted his head up to Jared and started out with a small cackle but soon broke out laughing. After his good laugh was over he wiped a tear from his good eye and smiled at Jared "Oi that was a good one, you got me good" he said to him in a friendly manner. He then stood up and stretched a bit "I guess I shouldn't be sleeping up here huh? Well anyways, aren't you from the Survey Corp too?" he said to Jared calmly.

Sᴄᴜʀᴠʏ Cᴏʀᴘs Mᴇᴍʙᴇʀ, ᴀɴᴅ Tʀᴏᴛ Dɪsᴛʀɪᴄᴛ Bʀᴀɪɴɪᴀᴄ--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ஐA young looking boy was alarmed by a shout but he was also curious of what the view was like up on the top of Wall Rose. As he reached it, he looked across at the view of the Trot District possibly miles or meters away as he sighed before gazing across to Wall Maria in the distance...unsure if we'll ever retake the wall ever again. His thought became distant and nostalgic. Remembering the fact his father died out there protecting this wall from being attacked. He couldn't help but think of the fact that he too could die out there one day. But, he knew he joined the Scounting Legion possibly just for that reason and nothing else. Unaware of how the fact he even gotten far at this point, his weak looking arms just hanged a bit as he merely shook his head. "No......I musn't...not because of him......" He mumbled under his breath as he took a step away from the edge near a cannon offline. Walking away now, he stopped to see a few people standing nearby and a guy laying near a bunch of crates. Frustated slightly at the laziness of that sleepy guy, he was surprised the man had a similar attire on to those around here on actual duty. He remained silent for the meantime but his glare merely turned into a stare now, before he turned away now, thinking to himself on what he could do to help others around the Wall so that he wouldn't be left out on the action when it really happens. The boy, Arthur just stood there...silently with his backed turned against them taking slight steps back and forward, pacing his timing with each step remembering the categories and items he'll need if he goes out beyond this wall to survey the area. This IS why the faction was kind of here, but it really does lack the soldiers that Garrison and the Military Police has. A sigh escaped his lips, and he hung his head trying to get a grip of himself. "I really need something to solve! So many mysteries however have no lead for me to take! Gosh!" He stated angrily at one moment before calming down in the next. Now, silent once again he began walking forward away from them before he stopped hearing Giovanni. "You think...?" He mumbled before he sat down, and checked the barrel of his rifle seeing if there's any openings he can add to it possibly a modification of some sort. ஐ

Yukiko Kresnik Yukiko was startled a bit by the sudden sound of snoring coming from somewhere on the wall. He had been too caught up in his thoughts and the noise caught him by surprise.
He looked toward where the sound had come from, a stack of crates. He looked to Jared as he watched him walk over to the crates, cup his hands around his mouth, and shout titan at the top of his lungs. He had initially thought that Jared wouldn't be the kind of person to do such a thing, Izzy maybe but not Jared. He managed to contain his laugh, only allowing himself to grin at the scene before him. He was relieved a bit that the guy that had been awakened wasn't freaking out that there may have actually been a titan around. He, instead, joined in on the laughter around him.
He then noticed that someone else had come up on the wall. He watched him as he sat down took out a rifle. "Hey, you don't need to sit by yourself over there. Come join us." Yukiko called out to him, hoping to add another to their little group.

Jared's face was still had it's neutral expression as he stood there. However if one looked you could see a tiny smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he turned his head slightly "......Sorry....." he quietly said, although the tone of how he said it easily showed he wasn't. He then turned his head to look at the guy a fair way off, being a loner "......." If it wasn't obvious to the others by now but Jared may be quiet, but he often took initiative in even the most mundane of things. So hearing Yukiko call out to the younger guy made Jared begin to walk over to the younger guy and stood over him with his ever neutral face.
Jared calmly then lifted the young teen off the ground and started carrying him over to the group. If it wasn't obvious Jared had no shame for most things and didn't seem to care what others thought. He then plopped the young teen down and ruffled his hair a bit "Time to introduce yourself kid......." he said quietly before walking back to where he was originally sitting and stood there with his hands in his pockets.

"H-hey! Let me--......go?" He said in a questioned tone as he was sat down and had his hair already messy however was ruffled a bit by Jared. The fact he was called a kid made him feel pathetic slightly be he sucked it up as always. Setting the empty rifle in his lap, he looked up slightly at them before bringing his head down again, shy at his approach to them. "Ah...um....it's....Arthur............er.........Arthur....Peterson of the Trost District, and.......a recently recruited Survey Corps member. Uh...please don't hurt me or anything, I don't really mind much and I'm not even one to win a fist fight against you guys so...uh...heh, it's kind of ironic on how I got here." He said to them. ஐ

Giovanni was always one to introduce himself first and in a friendly manner at that. Giovanni saw a bit of his brother in this boy, Felice was a shy one and wasn't that much of a socializer, but it seemed that Giovanni was the only one Felice was fully open to. Giovanni instantly started liking this kid, not only because of his likeness of Felice, but because Giovanni could feel great courage from this kid. Hearing that he's a member of the Survey Corp, filled Giovanni with excitement "Hey that's great! I'm from the Survey Corp too kid, you can count on me watching you back~" he said to him kindly.
