Ruby
It soon became apparent that it was useless to strike anyway on the body. Claudia distanced herself from some Unbound that were close to her and gave her arrows time to charge. Meanwhile, Ruby felt hoarse breathing down her neck, if the corpses could even breath, and glanced over her shoulder to see one about to crush her with a mallet. Acrobatically flipping forward while her swords skimmed the edge of the Unbound's swords that were blocking her on each side, she dodged the mallet in time. The chunk of spiked metal collided into the floor leaving a dent while the other two swung at her. Leaning back, the swords glided just above her body and when she straightened she stabbed her crystalline blade into the closest Unbound's abdomen. The withered corpse ignited and began screeching before running around trying to douse the white flames. Along the way, whatever corpse it touched the same happened to them and soon they were reduced to a pile of ashes. However, their grey essences were released in the processes and struggled to wiggled themselves from the bodies.
On the other side of the room, the others were doing quiet a bit of damage themselves like Nyru with his separating blade that could be used as a whip. Unfortunately, his attack used up more than half of his energy so Claudia had his back while aiming at the Unbound's heads like Alexis found out. Her arcade magic tore all enemies apart while she skillfully endured. Lysandiel and Lucas seemed to hold their own, but Ruby became extremely worried about Adi and Laxion. While in flight, an Unbound had attached itself to her wing wrecking her flight pattern and threatening to impale her. Swiftly, the gypsy turned the tables on it and made a smooth descending. Laxion was cornered, but managed to use his spear as a grappling hook while the Unbound attacked each other. Ruby spun around and decapitated an Unbound rushing to her without much through before hopping onto another's bony shoulders. From there, she stepped onto the corpses like they were catapults and killed the ones below Laxion so he could come down.
Adi questioned how many of them were there and from what she could see their were quiet a few. Ruby signaled for the elemental to join her and once they were back to back, they were like a tank. Ruby stopped an ax coming down from above her and while she was holding it off, Laxion turned and jabbed the spear right into his skull. At some point, she changed back to guns to annihilate some of them quicker, but they weapons they wielded became a problem. Claudia arrows ricocheted off the walls and hit her targets often as she urged Nyru to get to his feet. "Nyru, I need you! Laxion needs you! Get up!" she encouraged.

LAXIOȠ Team Elixer ◥ ♞ ◤ When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for When someone walks into your heart through an open door
◢ ♞ ◣
He had watched how Adi was almost taken by surprise by the jumping bodies, the Unbound were skilled, and unlike the undead he was used to coming across in the Land of Crows, these used strategies to get to their targets. Yet, she managed to bring herself back on top, bringing the creature down beneath her as it's soul was released. Hearing Claudia approach him he nodded, she could not see it but beneath his helmet he stopped his heavy breathing and returned ready to fight once more. He noticed how the numbers were slowly dwindling, but near him and Claudia came three Unbound that were together with great sword, runes etched on them glowed a ghostly white as they raised th swords up high and combined their powers. The blades shimmered and they screeched to announce their assault on Claudia and Nyru. "Claudia!" he shouted, "Shadow Resonance!". With that, he used his hand to draw the Ankh of Declasia in the air out of a purple light, Claudia did the same and together they absorbed the might of Declasia, calling forth the darkness surrounding them until a gigantic, half male and half female shadow raised up behind them. The shadow giant was only a torso, but it raised its great sword and brought it's edge down upon the trio of Unbound that dared to attack them. After the explosion the bodies were left decimated on the ground, the souls then releasing.
Alexis was almost caught off-guard when she watched the event, hearing the movement of an Unbound behind her. She narrowly dodged a spearhead as he passed her shoulder, her eyes seeing the reflection of her cheek in the blade inches from her skin. Grabbing the spear and then swinging her scythe she cut the arm from its body, with a grunt she threw the spear back at it's body and impaled it on the wall with a burst of arcane power. Before it could pull itself free she conjured a glowing orb of raw arcane energy in her palma nd thrust it forwards as she yelled "HYAHH" at the top of her lungs! The power hit and the body fizzled for a moment until the veins through out the body glowed and the power went to it's mind, destroying the brain and releasing the soul in a flash of light.
Laxion dropped from the ceiling after Ruby cleared the way, watching Lucas pull his sword from the head of one of the unbound. He had found one more that was lingering on a nearby wall, it was dysfunction, clawing at the wall like a zombie as if it were a part of the battle. In that moment Lucas felt great sorrow for the Unbound, none of them deserved what had happened to them, tey just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. But in his sudden daze, Lysandiel had already summoned his sword from the air, it gathered from a white light above the Unbound and descended down, red-hot, as it plunged into it's skull, releasing the soul. The last few remaining were then taken care of by Adi and the others.
"They are all redeemed" Lysandiel began, but his little speech could not be finished when the halls shook and dust fell from the ceiling. An eerie, demonic voice echoed amongst the monastery, it beckoned them, called them... it said "You think you have come to defeat me?" Lucifial then chuckled, "For so long I have been watching this world, and for so long had I been walking it all thanks to one man you all call... Dorian. And thanks to him... you're precious Heavens will be overshadowed in Terror, Lysandiel!" "You will never have the Heavens!", Lysandiel yelled back. "Try and stop me, I have nothing to Redeem, you are futile in this crusade of yours! Let the mortals perish, let your brother's perish! They never trusted you anyway. As for this realm... my demons rain havoc and soon enough the armies of Hell will spill forth from Hells Gate to take the world as I defile your divine realm once and for all. " and then the voice left them amongst themselves, tension left tighter than ever after name-dropping Dorian into the boiling water. Alexis suddenly spat out her venomous words, she yelled "I told you he was a waste of space!" like a banshee! She jumped from her space and landed just metres from Dorian with her scythe in spear-mode, but Nyru had jumped forth and blocked the spear with his sword and calmly said "We need him alive if he's of any use to us." as his helmet unfolded to reveal his face. Then Laxion stared at him in disbelief.... "Nyru..." he murmured, unable to believe that even after this, he would still prefer to keep such a man alive. "HE SHOULD BE DEAD! HE IS SCUM" Alexis ordered.
Lysandiel was then noticing it all, Lucifial had been affecting them all ever since they came to Zakernand, Ruby and Laxion for the most part out in the wilderness, he even dared to wonder if Adi had been affected too. Any thoughts, any misconceptions any doubts would all be because of the Lord of Betrayal. It was how he worked and how he often chose to tear apart his enemies. If nothing happened soon, Alexis would give into rage, and Laxion could possible fall to despair whilst Nyru acts on lies.
"...And when darkness falls, truth shall turn to lies as Vigour is lost within the souls of men. Redemption shall not be handed - "
(It's not as though the prophecy is ACTUALLY coming true, is it? Psht, don't be stupid... who would believe such a thing...)

Light behind my dead eyes I keep you living in your own lie, ever deceitful and ever unfaithful ..................Keep you guessin, keep you terrified Take everything from you world..........Say can you help me right before the fall. ◑_________Ðѻriąη_________◐
..........Take what I can and leave you to the wolves Keep you dumb, keep you paralyzed Why try swimming? You're drowning in fables............... It's oh-so playful when I demonize...To spit out the hateful, I'm willing and able
In Lysandiel's words, the last of the Unbound were indeed redeemed. Dorian and Adi slaying the last of the twisted creatures that had once been great minds of this land. Least they could rest now in peace and not have to wander this earth under Lucifial's powers any longer. Dorian himself thought they would get some rest now, Adi thinking similarly, though both thought such a thing unlikely. And though surprised at the same time neither were surprised to hear the dark beast of hell's voice ringing out in a unsettling fashion. Twisting and manipulating with every word and syllable, Adi glowered into the darkness as the master of hell hid behind smoke and mirrors. Using Dorian of all things as a breaking point for them all to fall prey to him, Adi knew this the instant it came up. The dark magic user figuring something of this nature likely to occur. At Alexis' outburst he raised a brow, un-moving as the woman charged and brandished her weapon at him Dorian didn't move. Nyru coming to his rescue though made him smirk. "Well...my knight in shining armor aren't you Nyru..." the winged man said before turning to Alexis with a glare. "I was a pawn in Lucifial's games as much as you are; I at least saw the error and sought to correct it by assist you all...enemy of my enemy is my friend after all." His voice though not raised was just as chilling and intimidating as if Dorian had yelled. Turmoil and riot was about to ensue with all the doubt, lies and suspicion that Lucifial had sown. Exactly what he wanted; if they were to succeed they had to bane together without doubts. Someone had to settled it before things out out of hand, and before Adi knew it, she was doing just that. "BE STILL...ALL OF YOU!!" her voice ringing out, no harmonic as it was when she was speaking with Zurial but rather a bit animalistic, a chilling caw like cry underlying the gypsy's raised voice. "Now is not the time to scowble and argue amongst ourselves, now is the time to set aside difference if we want to make all our efforts and sacrifices worth while. I see warriors before me not clashing children, so show me warriors! Everyone is looking to us to lead and fight what others can not, this is the moment to fight, to the death if we have to for a world free of Lucifial! This is the war that will change the world for better or worse...so let it rise a bright one."Adi's gaze wandered over them all, firm and determined but not glowering or frightening; perhaps some vigor was residing within her that she wished to share with them. Chin held high, spine straight with pride as she stood before her comrades. In her eyes ever slightly for them all to see the shimmer of gold could be seen in the darkness from her eyes. "We are close and Lucifial is worried...he is playing games with us; twisting words and our minds to turn ourselves against each other. Rise up and be strong, the future we want we must fight for it!"Spinning on her heel, her friends at her back and her face into the darkness and the gold shimmer now longer in her eyes but Adi still stared into the darkness with unwavering determination and vigor. "We're coming for you Lucifial...and there will be no where else to hide."OCC: totally listened to "this is war" by 30 seconds to mars while writing this lol Words are weapons you should be terrified...You're nothing in my world ..............Say can I help you right before the fall Take what I can and leave you to the wolves...... ◑__________________●__________________◐ Words are weapons All I really want is something beautiful to say Keep you guess'in, keep you terrified All I really want is something beautiful to say.....I keep you livin' in your own lie All I really want is something beautiful to say..... Ruby
Nyru had come to his senses and stood up to fend against the oncoming assault. Three Unbound wielding glowing rune marked swords combined their force into one attack and were closing in. In unison they announced a battle cry, but it was somewhat inaudible due to their decaying throats. Nyru declared a Shadow Resonance and together they drew out the Ankh of Declasia through purple smoke. The smoke accumulated into a titan that was both genders. The woman half represented virtue, while the man represented strength and they can't coexist without the other. The shadowy sword of Declasia was brought down on the defiant Unbound leaving nothing behind. Their souls were freed and Claudia felt that's what they would have wanted. This extinguished most of their energy so they had to rest while the other eliminated the remaining few. From the side lines, the blonde cheered her sister on and shoved the terrible fate to befall her in the back of her mind.
Watching Alexis fight was like watching a master in all their glory. The head of a spear almost grazed her milky skin, but she ceased it abruptly. Severing the arm of its wielder, she jammed it into his gut and pen him to the wall with an explosion of arcane magic. The Unbound desperately struggled, however, Alexis had already conjured a sphere of arcane magic and shot it at the corpse. The magic seeped into the withered body and fried it from the inside out until its brains splattered onto the pavement. Each soul that climbed out of the decaying bodies sounded like it moaned a 'thank you'. If only there was time to save these once noble men and women. Luficial will pay for his transgressions and she'll be happy to deliver the final blow.
While Lucas pitied the last of them, Lysandiel grabbed his sword and purified the Unbound with a light beam from his weapon. Adi and Dorian effortlessly killed the rest and Lysandiel appeared satisfied. Suddenly, Lucifial's booming voice shook the foundation as he claimed his victory over Magic Earth and the Heavens. The cause of resurrection...Dorian which was likely to begin with, but now blood will boil. Lysandiel revolted but it was to late because darkness has fallen, truth is now lies, Vigour is lost, and redemption can't be handed. He faded away on a triumphant note and the dust falling from the ceiling cleared. Alexis lost her edge and attacked Dorian only to be intercepted by Nyru whom still believed they needed the foul creature. Laxion was applauded that Nyru would chose his side over theirs and he was powerless to persuade him. Claudia stood near Nyru as his loyal partner while Ruby tried to comprehend who to trust. Adi's strong words of wisdom and morals probably weren't enough to rally the group back together. The albino felt the weight of everyone on the gypsy's shoulders, but its to much for one person. Eventually, the child looked back from the path they came from and then forward, which one was the right way? The girl wondered over to Lucas and tugged on his sleeve, "Do we go forward even if we end up tearing each other apart?" she asked bluntly trying to hold all her emotions in.

LAXIOȠ Team Elixer ◥ ♞ ◤ When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for When someone walks into your heart through an open door
◢ ♞ ◣
Nyru growled behind his helmet when Dorian attempted to make it sound more like Nyru was defending him as if he was something good of this world. But Dorian explained his own betrayal, but he went to go on and almost suggest no one else had seen where they had gone wrong. Laxion wasn't almost ready to provoke the half-demon in defence of his boy- but Laxion stopped in his tracks, this wasn't eht ime or place but he had to stop to think - could he say that? Could he go as far as to say that Nyru was his....
Adi stopped them all right then and there, she bellowed and without the aide of Zurial. Lysandiel silently stood and observed them all as they listened to Adi's speech, he agreed with her whole-heartedly, there was not truer words to be spoken at this moment. Lucas meanwhile said nothing, but he placed his sword in it's sheaf as if he was done so-to-speak with their fighting. How he'd grown up, it was best to be peaceful, calm and collected to achieve anything. Her gaze wandered over them, and Nyru was still facing away from her as he held up his sword to stop Alexis from getting close. Her brows twitched a few times before she finally dropped her weapon to her side and the humming of it's power ceased. Nyru did the same and replaced his blade. Lysandiel finally stepped in after her last words, his words wise and harmonic, almost soothing tot he listener like a choir sung pleasant hymns like velvet waves. "Rur'Adika is right. We must've give in to the Lord of Betrayals tactics. If we are to succeed we must focus on ending his rain of terror."
Meanwhile, Ruby had tugged on Lucas' sleeve, and he quickly looked down to her when she asked him a question. She could see it in his face, the contemplation he was faced with, but in the end he managed to quietly say "Sometimes it is the only way if we want to succeed. Sacrifices have to be made..." and with that, Lucas stepped away as he summoned his light, sending it down the next set of corridors as he re-adjusted his mindset in favour of Justice. Alexis was silent, she only broke her stare at Nyru when she saw the pain in Laxion's eyes, and guilt consumed her mind. Looking down, she followed Lucas, but upon passing Dorian glared at him. She still wanted him dead.
The next corridors were less eerie than the last, now they knew their enemy, and they had all had enough of Lucifial's trickery!
Outside, Mesraphael and Scentiel were still busy dispatching hordes of demons, but now they were backed with their armies of Angels, descending from the heavens in bursting fountains of light. Demons were pinned against trees, torn apart, or exposed to pure light as their bodies turned to ashes. It was a mix of blood red and black amongst silver grey and gold on the surface of Zakernand. Soon Enough Bloodholme will be experiencing a similar war. Terence and Cardy were also still fighting this war they were upon the Noki Valley, defending those that had been laid to rest. The strong presence of spirits in this location acted like a magnet for the cultists to raise abominations, and it was like a feeding ground for Lucifial's demons. Whilst Terence did his best to keep his suit clean whilst exterminating as many demons as he could, Lottie also used her unique ability to shoot through mirrors to get to her targets quicker and confuse them al at the same time. When odds seemed against them, Cardy told Terence to get behind him. Once he was she crossed her wrists over the other in front of her as she pointed her guns, and staring at the horde that gathered nearby she glared at them, daring them to look her in the eyes and believe they were gonna get out of here alive. And for that moment, that actually seemed to stop in their tracks, debating whether returning to Hell and being punished would be better than being murdered by Cardy.
The team reached the pinnacle of the monastery, the grandest of halls in the entirety of World's End that was almost unfothomable in each direction. Far in the centre there was a structure that looked like a well, but ont he ceiling the same shape almost existing. From bottom to top, and ethereal aura flowed like a living essence. The part that was shocking however was the Black Jewel floating in the middle of it, stories high and releasing the most fowl energies known to man and the Heavens. It was devouring the Edge of the World, the one thing the Unbound sought to defend and learn from for as long as they lived, and had done for so long until now. Bursting from the corridor the team looked around, but Lucas did not see Lucifial, he then asked "Where is it?!". Lysandiel cautiously looked around before shouting "REVEAL YOURSELF, DEMON. YOU HAVE NO PLACE HERE AMONGST THE LIVING.". Yet there was no reply. Lucas looked to Alexis, and she knew what to do. Striking the bottom tip of her staff into the ground, sparks as blue as sapphire jumped from the collision and into the air, small lights like fireflies flew through the room and lit up the corners dimly like sparks igniting over and over before becoming small orbs of blue light along the walls. "We need to retrieve the Jewel" Lucas then stated, but then, finally, Lucifial made himself know. He guffawed at them all and applauded them for making it this far, "Well, well, well. I honestly never expected you all to find me. How wrong I was..." he chuckled some more before slithering forth from the darkest edge of the room at the other side. His lower body was that of a skeletal snake, almost a storey high, his torso was that of a gigantic skeletal man, but he had two pairs of arms and his skull was demonic beyond knowledge, with curled horns and fangs as large as a sabre tooth tiger. With all this, he stood almost 2 times taller than Lysandiel who was larger than any mortal already. "If you are lucky... YOU WILL OBSERVE MY DARKNESS WHEN IT CONSUMES YOUR SHINING HEAVENS, LYSANDIEL!". The demon gave them no chance to reply, he instantly struck them with a wave of darkness that spread like a tidlewave from his position all the way across the room until it hit all of them. "UGH!" Laxion covered his face as the darkness consumed him.
When the darkness settled They were each left to fight a mirror image of themselves. Shadows that had real bodies just like them that knew how they battled, new their skills... and knew their weaknesses. That was all except for Lysandiel however, whom this sorcery had no power over. His hood shot for Lucifial, and he pulled his weapon from its sheaf with a mighty shing that resonated much like his voice did and hummed as it moved through the air. He then flew into the air and attempted to get into battle with the demon.
((okay, so for phase one we all have to battle and defeat our shadows and then we join Lysandiel to fight Lucifial! smile ))

Her words seemed to have the desired effect that Adi had been going for. Though it did not quell the rage Alexis had for Dorian...nothing would she was sure, the arcane user at least did attack further. Tempers lowered and motivation seemed to replace it. It was all she was after and reminding them of the true enemy here was not among themselves.
Adi said no more as they moved on, corridors not nearly as eerie fortunately, and they were not jumping at shadows. But that did not dampen the nervousness they all felt she was sure at realizing something far worse was at the end of the hall. Course the hall they anticipated to see Lucifial in was in fact empty at first appearances. Lysandiel's harmonic yells soon to draw the demon of hell out.
They had to defeat the demon and take back the jewel...things couldn't be more complicated.
At the sight of Lucifial himself well...the body of a snake was not exactly expected...there were other forms that were talked about more commonly, but he was a creature that took many forms. And this one was not small, ugly...intimidating and fierce. Adi glared at the beast before them, her expression becoming that of surprise as they were attacked by a wave of darkness. Arms covering her head, she felt it pass without any harm which was strange but seeing what lay before her...the gypsy grew further concerned.
For she stood in front of herself...a perfect copy, and this one oozed the darkness that Adi held in check. No restraint, no mercy...the dark angel born of battle and grief; no flicker of light was present, but that would be to Adi's advantage.
Every step back she took the darkly dressed copy of herself took a step forward. "Are you frightened? Doubting yourself again little girl...who is so far from home and neck deep in things she can't handle let alone understand. Little girl who can't return home for fear of what she's done...poor little thing," Sneered the dark copy, a dark smirk upon the woman's pale face.
Adi couldn't say much to that only glared at the creature before saying. "Come..." and unfurling her wings, she took to the skies and the creature with her own black wings flew after her and their clash began.
Dorian clashing with his own dark copy much in a similar way, flight was easy in the large doomed room like corridor they were in. The other below clashing as well. But all saw that Lysandial was fighting the demon on his own, and they had to finish their copy before moving forward.
So the gypsy knew what she had to do, this moment was no better then any other.

Ruby
The conflict must have been difficult for Laxion because if he defended Nyru he would be turning his back to Alexis. Team Elixer's been together since the beginning of this madness and now Nyru dares to take Laxion away. In some ways he sided with Nyru due to their pasts, but Laxion and the others were the closest people to be considered family. She loved Claudia more than the stars, but felt like they were competition deep down inside. However, none of these trivial things will matter once she's deceased which saddened her greatly. Anyway, in the middle of their squabbling, Adi's words proved aggressive with Zurial and Lysandiel appreciated her encouragement. It took a bit of thought and eventually Alexis dropped her staff while Nyru sheathed his sword. Lucas did the same ending the streak of violence against one another. The angel's tranquil voice insisted that they force on defeating Lucifial and avoid anymore of his tricks.
Ruby managed to get Lucas's attention and he tried to harden his expressions around her which she detested. She wanted to feel what he felt so that in the end she could understand his reasons for all he's done. All the accomplishments and all the failures, and all the times she's questioned his motives again and again. After moments of ear shattering silence, he confirmed that the only way to win was ahead and necessary sacrifices must be upheld. Like the machine she once was, she play her role flawless and save the world from Luficial's wrath. Lucas recreated the ball of light from before and sent it ahead so they wouldn't be stumbling through the dark. Glancing over, Alexis seemed tamed, but the guilt was setting in and she walked away. Although, she couldn't help herself by giving one last death-defying at Dorian. Ruby scurried behind behind her like a duckling trying to follow it's mother and attempted to reach for her hand, but ultimately hesitated.
What felt like seconds later, the team filed into a large room like before but this one appeared to have no end, hence the name. All the walls made the illusion that they were stretched out further than the eye could see or purely invisible. The only illumination came from a streaming pool that connected from top to bottom in the center. Most of them gasped to see the Black Jewel among the aura defiling it with its dark influence. Lucas was astonished that Luficial didn't reveal himself right away and Lysandiel decided to coax the coward out of hiding. Alexis stuck her staff into the ground and neon blue arcane magic decorated the ground with its many complex symbols. The light lifted from the ground in little speaks and glued themselves to the walls finally brightening the whole area. It was impossible for Luficial to conceal himself in the shadows now. Lucas wanted to retrieve the jewel as a top prosperity, but the king of lies himself finally graced them with his presence. He awarded them for making it this far before stepping, or in this case slithering out into full view. His skeletal structure was bulky, yet they had some what of an advantage; no flesh to tear through. He had double the sets of limbs and his skull bared two enormous fangs at Lysandiel, cursing the Heavens with every fiber of his being.
Before they had an opportunity to even move, Luficial sent a sonic wave of darkness their way and most of them could barely hold their ground. When the suffocating cloud settled, each of them were matched with a mirror form of themselves leaving Lysandiel to fight Luficial alone. Claudia summoned her bow and arrow and the mirror clone did the same with expert timing. Both aimed, but waited patiently for the other to falter so they could make the prefect shot. Meanwhile, Ruby waited no time loading her guns and firing a fatal bullet to the head. The mirror did the same and each barely dodged in the nick of time. Spinning around, Ruby attached her guns to made one sword and summoned the crystalline one from her wrist. Right then she turned, she was had collide with the same blades wielded by her foe. "Your good." she said rather cocky. The mirror smirked back and applied all its weight into the weapons causing Ruby to fall to her knees.

LAXIOȠ Team Elixer ◥ ♞ ◤ When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for When someone walks into your heart through an open door
◢ ♞ ◣
Lucas was faced with the omens of his past when he found a much darker version of himself statue still as a statue before him. It was a strange feeling when you look at yourself, and for once it really is staring back at you like it knew something you didn't want it to tell. Gritting his teeth and clutching tightly on the Purevelion Blade, Lucas began to stare-off his shadow. Laxion was quick to begin fighting shortly after Adi had taken to the skies with Dorian. A gust of wind threw him at the shadow of himself, but the shadow also jumped forwards and they were both pushing their weight's against each other before they could take another breath. His shadow's eyes had no end, they were pitch black and looked as though they could swallow your mind if you stared too far within. Nyru opened his helmet into Circlet form so he could look at his double, they could almost look the same if it weren't for the fact the enemy's armour reflected no light. The other Nyru tilted it's head, and the uncertainty of it's next action made Nyru unfold his helmet again. This time it was the shadow that came at him first, fast like a ninja, light on it's feet and as fast as light. Nyru barely dodged the attack and made a counter-strike, yet the double dodged that too and grabbed Nyru's arm, twisted it and forcing Nyru to turn before being thrown away. Lucas' double then finally said "You fear you're going to die here?", Lucas scoffed at it, and replied "I may die some day but it will not be at your hands" whilst readying his sword. The double smirked, "But so many omens. Can you live with that?" "I have done for a long time, it doesn't mean that I shall succumb to them" he spat back, hardly breaking a sweat or loosing his calming posture before he attacked, sending his orb of light shooting at his victim, and then appearing at the double when it struck him. He had his blade like a dagger against the double's throat, but Lucas was kneed int he stomach before releasing his rage and slicing the monster's throat. It screamed in agony and staggered backwards. It's head may be harmed, but it continued as it jumped forwards, lunging its sword just like Lucas would, like it weighed nothing, he swung the sword in this direction, then that, Lucas could barely deflect each swing with his own blade, darkness and light clashing. Laxion was still in combat, the two had been jumping this way and that, into the air and back down again for the last few minutes. The double said "You're too preoccupied by distractions". Laxion almost choked at the words, deeply breathing ater their relentless battle, fighting himself was harder than he thought, he'd never prepared himself for his own techniques. "There's.. nothing... distracting me" "Oh?" it asked, spinning it's spear above its head, "Love is a dangerous curse. It is what creates things like the Scarred!" "I am not a demon!" Laxion retaliated, clutching his fists tightly, not accepting such insults, yet the shadow continued to provoke him by saying "It's another opening for you to get hurt, hm?". "NO!!!" Laxion couldn't bar eit anymore, his eyes glowed with rage, green's and blue's like the cosmos was trying to escape him as he jumped forwards, spear in hand coming down like a dagger. When he struck the ground it broke the stone beneath them and magical power slammed afterwards like an after effect. Yet, he had missed. HE searched desperately with a fierce, bright anger in his eyes, like he had been consumed with magical power. The shadow was injured nearby, but Laxion pulled it closer with a gust of wind, and forced it to be stabbed by his spear, he then blew it away with another gust of wind that slammed it against a wall, destroying it.
Nyru just defending against one of his own attacks, it was a replication of a giant's shadow fist by the power of Declasia's mark, yet the shadow failed to conduct it properly, granting him a moment to strike back! Nyru jumped into the air and vanished int he shadows, but Laxion saw the double's sword loosen into it's snake-blade form, and it was getting ready to stab like a biting viper. "NYRU!" he yelled, but suddenly Nyru came down on the double in a flash of darkness, shortly followed by the two vanishing for a moment as their shadows merged. But then he appeared again, this time alone, presumably he had one against the shadow. Lucas' light was bursting from his blade with each deflected strike from his double, he was waiting for it to become tired. But he was taken off-guard, the double's ball of darkness struck hima nd threw him across the floor as he rolled several tiems and dropped his blade. It guffawed as it stepped closer to him, "You need to learn to forget, only then will you be able to focus!" "No..." he replied, trying to push himself up from the ground. "Oh?" the double pondered, shocked at Lucas' retaliation, but then he was suddenly struck with agony as a bolt of piercing light came through it's back and out of it's chest. The light peeled away to reveal the Purevelion blade, fully visible in the darkness of this room. "You won't ever learn if you forget..." Lucas said, watching the double fall to the ground as vanish, leaving the blade to rattle across the floor. Alexis meanwhile had been talking trash-talk with her double, arcane missiles flying this way and that, platforms like glass appearing in thin-air as the two jumped from one to the other, yet ultimately she outsmarted her double by making a double of herself without it noticing, she then beheaded the creature with her scythe, before throwing the blade to her side and letting the blade straighten to a staff-mode, she then rleasing an arcane cannon on the remains to destroy it.
Lysandiel was flying through the air, reflecting dark magic thrown at him from Lucifial. "You haven't changed since our invasion, Redemption!" the demon said, smirking if it could. Lysandiel took some time to hover in the air as he voice echoed back with "I wish i could say the same for you, but it would seem all these years of hiding have been worse for ware on you!". The demon laughed at him, "It is what ruling the Underworld does to you, would you like to visit?!". Lysandiel was struck with fear just then, he had not realised that he had been ruling the Underworld all this time... in fact... the Reaper of Souls should have been in control. Then what has happened to the souls of the deceased? He begged not to wonder anymore in fear of what may come. Then, out of the corner of Lysandiel's eye he saw a light flash past him, it was Lucas. There was a fierce hunger for Justice in his eyes as he attempted to jump high into the air. He was heading for the Jewel! "No!" Lysandiel called, but he was too late, Lucas had tried to take the jewel from it's connection with the Edge of the World, but it retaliated and he was thrown yards back against the fall wall, hitting it like a cannon ball knocking him unconscious, all his veins were dark, as if ink had filled them beneath his pale white skin.
"Justice will shroud the first men as Reason remains unanswered."

They clashed, sword to sword, arrow for arrow, block for block, punch and kick matched with a punch an kick of the other. A push here an a push back, it was a constant push and pull between the gypsy and her copy. All wings and feral beauty from the look of the firm angry expressions on their faces; darkness crackling like static electricity at their finger tips and body.
The dark copy bantered and bashed Adi verbally; insulting, slandering and pushing every single soft spot there was possible to be pressed Croix, her people...how she couldn't return to her people for her sins. Cracking away at the gypsy already fragile self confidence. Speaking of the dark thoughts she never admitted to herself, everything good and bright, replaced it with shadow and nightmares. Took all Adi's focus just to withstand it all, and though on the outside she appeared perfectly in control aside from expression of anger when they physically clashed; every word uttered was a wound against her already bleeding soul.
Then Rur'Adika's reached the end of her rope.
"Enough!!" she yelled from her where she had been pushed into the wall very similarly to Lucas only not nearly as hard though still the stone cracked around her. "Wish to prove you are my better darker half...then prove it," she sneered.
The time was now.
Using the dark power granted to her from the Prince of Crows, Adi vanished for a moment to appear back in the center of the room below the glass doom of the room. A 'come hether' more with her fingers, and the gypsy was vanishing upward in a flash, a sudden ringing of shattering class filling the room as she took to the skies outside, making a rushed straight line for the darkened heavens above them. The copy not far behind her pissed and uncertain what was too happen.
"Zuriel...stay with me..." she breathed begging him for help and guidance; give her acceptance should she not make it through this. Clinging to his power as his very presence gave her strength, Adi inhaled and let loose what she had been so difficulty holding back.
A flash of golden light and glitter like gold dust and a large bow and even larger arrow; larger then herself or Lysandiel for that matter was being drown. Her once black wings now completely white even as the crow mark burned painfully it was ignored. "Aaaaaaaaaaaagh!!" came Adi's battle cry as she aimed down at the on coming appointment that was silent in it's death the mirror image of herself dying with surprise on her face.
The arrow didn't stop there though, no it traveled and flew down to the room the battle for Magic Earth waged. the large arrow striking the floor in a flash and explosive wave of light and purity, likely to surprise everyone. Dorian even used the wave to his advantage. Having been battling himself with no upper hand and both covered in claw marks, a kick to the check of his dark self into that wave and that creature was golden dust in mere moments.
"Well that's taken care of," he smirkd happily looking to the pillar of light.
Falling through the glass window again shattering more glass was Adi herself, her feet meeting the floor with a resounding cracking echo of stone. There she knelt in the light that shot into the sky like a beacon of hope for the forces outside and all around. She had landed as a civilian and gypsy woman, but as she she rose, it was no longer the gypsy that stood there much to Dorian and surely the others surprise.
For as the light diminished around, it condensed around her creating new clothing, not only that but armor as well. Adi now wore a shift sort of dress similar to the other female angel's garb only this was black instead of white. However golden chain mail covered her skin, from an exposed calf and thigh right up to her shoulders. Thar armor protecting her chest, arms and thighs were black in color with golden details and filigree decorating it.
She was the perfect image of an angel, however appear almost their opposite, however her wings, Adi's duel pair of large wings remained their purest white very different from before. But over her head was similar a bottomless hood; the hood coming to a tip over her brow and complete with a gold ornament that made the whole thing look a bit like the beak of a crow. However though one could see her rouged lips in a firm line of determination in the shadow of that hood. And where one couldn't see the eyes with the other angel's, Adi's eyes glowed with the golden light and golden dust brighter then ever before through that seemingly bottomless darkness.
In a flash of power both light and dark, Adi held her sword like lance as she stared down Lucifial. "You're reign is over Lucifial! TIME TO DIE!!" came Adi and Zurial harmonic cry.
And a thrust of wings and power of the Crow Prince, Adi was off and joining Lysandial in the clash with the demon king.
OOC: cue dramatic entrance lol

Ruby
The replica exceeded her power limit because of the White Jewel inside her deteriorating. It continued to weight down on her until the ground beneath her cracked. A shuttering pain surged up her knees and Ruby sniffed her body as much as possible. At this rate, her spine would either collapse on itself or the cord would be broken in half. The albino was a sore loser and egged herself on in her mind trying to reenact a tough councilor. Ruby began to push back and climbed to her feet avoiding the distractions around her. Once she was up, she flung the replica backwards and slashed the crystalline sword across the air to send white flames its way. The replica felt right on its back and the flames engulfed the area around it, yet it barely hand time to stagger to its feet. Ruby acrobatically jumped into the flaming ring and swung ferociously at the mirror image. It dodged a few swings, but the ones that hit embedded into the top layer of flesh. Actually, she wasn't sure what substance the replica was made of but it wasn't invulnerable. The replica cursed her and separated the Myrthial Diamond blade pointing both guns at her. "Surrender to your fate. You know that you're going to die during this battle so why do you keep fighting? Won't it be easier for everyone when you're gone?" Ruby stopped for a moment and shook her head at every word coming out of its mouth. She couldn't deny that she had thought of these things, but giving up wasn't optional. No, it's impractically and she refused to lose to a replica that dared to disgrace her image.
"Shut up! I know my fate and I'll accept it with dignity so why don't we learn yours?" Ruby exclaimed honorably as the replica fired at her repetitiously. She deflected as many bullets as she could while backing up towards the flames that started to heat up her armor. Quickly, she rolled out of the bullet's range and lunged at the image ready to plunge both blades into the replica's shoulders. Unfortunately, the replica was slightly faster converting into close range combat and blocking the swords knocking the gun/sword blade from Ruby's grip. The sword slid across the ground with the sound of scraping metal following while the replica stabbed its gun/sword into Ruby's side. It coincidentally missed her vital organs because the replica wanted to watch her squirm. Ruby was pinned into the ground screaming and bleeding all over the place, but the image ceased her cries as she released the sword. It began to straggling her laughing uncontrollably and testifying, "You're weak and always will be. I'll do you the favor of ending your pathetic existence myself!" it vowed as it arched its arm back ready to plunge its shadowy crystalline sword into her heart. Ruby gasped for air and hoarsely protected, "Your dead wrong." Suddenly, an overwhelming light shined from Ruby's chest blinding the image and forcing it to shield itself. Ruby lifted the upper half of her body and swiftly jolted her own crystalline blade into the replica, but the sword still embedded in her made her bleed more. Twisting the blade, the replica burst into flames and was ultimately defeated as it dissolved so did its weapons.
Meanwhile, Claudia was impressed with the accuracy and speed that her replica possessed. Fading into the shadows, Claudia closed in on her target's shadow and arose within that space. Firing arrows here and there behind the replica it avoided each on by the whistling noise alone. Spinning around, it shot an arrow point blank at Claudia and even those she moved it managed to graze her cheek. The blonde rammed forward with her arrow strung trying to stab the thing in its shameful face. After doing this for a minute or so, Claudia disappeared in the shadows again leaving the replica in the open to search for her. It decided to summon the shadowy signature fist of Declasia and Claudia was applauded that it could even pull off the technique. But, much like Nyru's clone, it failed and now was her change to surround a strike the replica.
Using the mark from the Prince of Crows, Claudia teleported to the invisible four corners around the replica. At each stop, she fired an over-sized arrow just slight below its hips so that the arrow would impact the ground near the feet. With all four arrows traveling under the shadows, they all bounced upwards at some point and skewered the image in several different spots. The replica made a high pitched whine as it dissolved into dust like the others. All her companions defeated the replica's of themselves too but the battles worn them all down and Luficial's plan was succeeding.
Lucas's clone seemed infatuated with intimidation as did Ruby's, but Ruby's actually injured her sister. Claudia wanted to run over and aide her, but her path was blocked by all the fighting. Laxion's replica was clever and used his undying love for Nyru against him which resulted in him being slightly unfocused. However, the replica finally hit a sensitive nerve and the element conjured his natural abilities. Florescent greenish blue eyes glared through his opponent and soon his spear was embedded into the replica's chest. A gust of wind thrust it back into the wall where it exploded on impact causing Laxion to turn it attention to Nyru. The fully armored shadowmancer ingeniously manipulated the replica into preforming the same attack knowing it would fail. Disappearing into the shadows, the clone unleashed its blade and it segregated into sections ready to whip Nyru into the flooring. Once the male appeared, Nyru overcame it and killed it flawlessly without a scratch on him. Alexis didn't use much effort and defeated her reflection with her arcane missiles in the blink of an eye. She expected nothing less from the woman that contained more experience in her little finger than all of them combined. Adi was just as impressive considering that she joined forces with Zuriel, taking on the form of a twilight angel, and vanquishing her replica with a giant golden arrow. The blast swept through the whole area filling it with warmth leaving Lucas to finish off his clone since Dorian quickly dispatched his.
The way was cleared for Claudia to tend her sister that was holding her side shakily. Ruby could hear the jewel inside her ear cracking and Claudia's voice was inaudible to her. Her red eyes happened to fall on Lucas killing the clone and rushing to the Black Jewel to remove it. When he got close though, the instructor rebounded and slammed into the wall forming a dent. Watching him fall to the ground unconscious made her go ballistic. "Lucifial!" she screamed and the light from her chest burst from her chest throwing Claudia back. A white essence levitated Ruby from the ground and wrapped around her materializing metallic white armor; and healing her bloody wound. Some of the pieces of armor looked like chess pieces giving it a unique knight-like ensemble. She tipped back up and landed on her feet, immediately retrieving her other sword. Both weapons were silhouetted with a transparent white aura and she took off towards Lucifical. This was the final power the jewel was providing her with and Claudia knew she had to be stopped before she lost her forever. "Laxion! Nyru! Alexis! Anyone, please stop her!" Claudia cried out with tears rolling down her face as she attempted to get back up.

LAXIOȠ Team Elixer ◥ ♞ ◤ When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for When someone walks into your heart through an open door
◢ ♞ ◣
Finally, the dark shadows had been destroyed and Lucifial's line of defence was broken down. It was now time for them to finish the Lord of Betrayal, it was time to kill the demon that ruled over the realm of Terror in the burning depths of Hell! This was when Rur'Adika unleashed her might, and when her transformation was over she had become the embodiment of all that was light and dark, she was the Between, the Half-way, the Twilight. She was neither the light nor the dark, and so she was not Pure, or impure. When Lucas was thrown across the room, Alexis was the first to jump over to his side with a high pitched scream at the top of her longs, calling his name. She couldn't believe the state that the jewel had left him in, and now she began to realise the horror that each jewel could unleash. Even she knew that the jewels could be used for good, but ultimately... they were instruments of Angels, and their power, no matter how pure, will always end up destroying those that wield it. In the past the very jewel she is channelling from destroyed Merlin, the Black Jewel started a war, and even the Crimson Jewel failed to give En'radial what she wanted so badly in the past. Alexis did not witness it all, but Ruby reached her limit too, screaming at the top of her lungs as she summoned the power of the White Jewel. She also summoned great power, creating armour for herself that the White Jewel bestowed upon her, and her sister cried out in fear of what Ruby was going to do next. Alexis gritted her teeth tightly, and she scornfully muttered to herself "Why don't the High Angels deal with this themselves?!" as she stared down at Lucas beneath her. But just then another voice spoke beside her, it was Mesraphael appearing from the darkness of the corridor nearby, and he spoke words of wisdom. "Because even we are not enough against a Greater Demon with the power of our own creation.". Scentiel was there too, staring off into the fray, clutching long, thick strands of ribbon in her hands that streamed endlessly from the armour on her arms. Alexis asked one more question, quickly, "Then answer me this, why does the Jewels bring ruin to those that use them?! She doesn't deserve to die!" "That question remains unaswered" Reason responded, Sincerity then said "She will sacrifice herself to bring love and integrity. Thus is the power of friendship"
Laxion was the only one to respond to claudia's plea. He ran as fast as he could towards Ruby, the feeling in his chest.. it was horror. He now realised that no matter what he never wanted to say goodbye to Ruby, she couldn't die here there had to be another way! "RUBY NO!" he called out, reaching a hand out as he ran closer and closer, but suddenly he was swatted out of the way by a force from the shadows to his side. The world was suddenly a blur as he fell to the floor and felt a great pain in his hip. Looking up, he was filled with fear as Nyru stood there, helmet open revealing black eyes. "N-Nyru?" Laxion begged to question, the figure smirked. Lucifial was still in a stand-off with Lysandiel, everything that had just happened had only taken place in atleast a minute or two. And now the demon would reply to both Adi and Laxion. After a guffaw, he announced "I do believe that it is your time to die, children of the Omnijewel! Even your loved ones can't save you now... not even the power of the lesser jewels will stop you against my strength with the Black Jewel!!!!" And with that, Lucifial summoned the power of the Black Jewel, tearing it from the Edge of the World with a sonic boom that hit the walls on every side. The room fell a deathly dark with only any angel's wings to light it up, Lucifial was given ne wpower with the Jewel too. He was more than just bones now, dark, dry, sunken skin covered his entire body and shadows weaved through him like blood. The jewel was buried in his chest, delivering the power to his very soul.
When the darkness took over the room, and now the walls seemed to not exist at all as if they ahd been taken to another realm, Alexis had ran over to Laxion's aide. She held her staff pointed at Nyru's head and threatened him with "If you lay one more finger on him I will kill you, foul servant!" "No!!!" Laxion cried out, holding up an arm in fear for the only person he had ever cared so much for. But Nyru looked at the sharp tip, and lightning fast he grabbed it, tugging Alexis closer to him and taking the weapon from he grasp. He then swung it as the pole hit the side of her face and threw her to the ground nearby. Laxion cried out again and begged Nyru to stop, but Nyru ignored him and neared Alexis, and Laxion had to do the unthinkable. From nowhere, Laxion's spear shot it's tip into Nyru's armour, peircing the lower portion of his gut, following by trickling crimson blood. His black eyes stared bankly as he ebgan to cough and clutch his side, dropping Alexis' staff. Then his eyes returned to normal, but he fell to the floor, unknown of what has just befouled him. With her last breath before she turned to sleep, Alexis was able to lift her hand and call the Sapphire Jewel for one last request. From her hand shot a crystal blue ball of arcane energy that shot past Lucifial and into the air above them, distracting the demon for a few moments before the arcane energy was release above them. It crackled across the pitch black sky above them, like lightning it etched runes above them with clock faces, numbers and other liens and circles that connected and created a powerful charm. "What is this?!" Lucifial called out, feeling his body become slow and heavy. He roared out in anger before the realm battle commenced.
"NO LONGER WILL YOU PLAGUE THE WORLD WITH YOUR LIES, LUCIFIAL" Lysandiel announced, flying in the air with Mesraphael and Scentiel by his side now. It was time for them to defeat Lucifial with Ruby and Adi's aide.
((okay, so, it would seem that Alexis and Nyru and Lucas are all unconscious. Meanwhile Laxion is busy crying over what he's just done to Nyru. So, it leaves you guys to do the last blow together i guess! Do what you will and in my next post i'll say what hits and stuff and i guess.... IT'LL FINALLY BE OVER. The angels will distract and poke where they need to whilst you guys save the day. I'll be finishing this with a special entrance to introduce the next Expansion! [only a year freaking late but jesus this plot has been good])

..........Take what I can and leave you to the wolves Keep you dumb, keep you paralyzed Why try swimming? You're drowning in fables............... It's oh-so playful when I demonize...To spit out the hateful, I'm willing and able
There was so much going on at once. Hearing the cries of despair from Laxion calling out Nyru's name the way he was, she knew that something had happened. Adi couldn't spare a look back however as she was moving forward with the other angels as Alexis made her move to their benefit. She had to push forward if they wanted to end this and any sort of distraction was a fatal distraction. Raising into the air side by side with Zuriel's brothers and sister in arms, she felt him swell with pride and emotions that were clearly not her own but motivated her to move forward. With Lysandiel's cry, the gypsy angel let out her own sort of war cry as she plummeted from the air right at Lucifial himself as he slowed. Sword raised with both hands, the sharp golden tip pointed down as if to stab. And stab she did. Her weapon transformed into a normal weapon of war as it sunk deep into the flesh of Lucifiel's chest. Seeking not just the black organ that bumped life, but also the black jewel now buried within there. This new power had to be taken from him before things got any worse or further. "I'll cut this jewel out of your chest if it's the last thing I do!!" she cried out as she began wrenching, cutting and pulling as quickly as she could while the other angel's attacked. Adi hoped this would at least help destroy him...there was no way to really tell. Unannounced though Dorian was going in for his own strike. Since before he had joined this rag-tag hopelessly hopeful and annoying group, the once apprentice had sought out a spell and researched how to separate a host from the creature that possessed it. Dorian had found what he needed and surely right then as he stared at Lucifiel's exposed back, he found what he was looking for. A spell cast on his sight, Dorian could see through the new skin the jewel had given his enemy. There deep within the body of Lucifial was in fact Zoltan, hanging there as if he was the Puppet Master versus the vice versa that reality was. Snarling ad determined, Dorian leaped forward as Adi struck, his now spelled hands and claws digging into flesh and substance that separated him from his beloved teacher. Ripping the host from the parasite would further weaken Lucifial at the very least. Feeling and clawing his way through the body of the demon, Dorian gripped what he could with both hands and pulled with all his might; a cry of effort coming from his fanged maw as his winged flapped with needed pull. The sound of ripping flesh and a liquid slurp sort of sound as if one was ripping a bit out of a rip fruit, Dorian pulled his master free of the demon he had subjected him to. As soon as Zoltan was free covered in black muck that could have been as much blood as anything else, Dorian was retreating into the shadows. He had gotten what he was after in this fight. "I have you Master Zoltan..." he breathed with pride and achievement as well as joy at having him back. OCC: sry about the wait, had to think about this post a bit. Words are weapons you should be terrified...You're nothing in my world ..............Say can I help you right before the fall Take what I can and leave you to the wolves...... ◑__________________●__________________◐ Words are weapons All I really want is something beautiful to say Keep you guess'in, keep you terrified All I really want is something beautiful to say.....I keep you livin' in your own lie All I really want is something beautiful to say..... Ruby
A gust of wind came rolling towards her left side and Laxion's voice cried out in fear for her sake. However, Ruby had one objective now; kill Lucifial and restore balance to Magic Earth. Unfortunately, there was no time for goodbyes and truth be told, it would hurt to much verbally depart from them. She'd rather remember them fondly as they remembered her and with that she suppressed all her emotions. Before Laxion could apprehend her, an unknown shadow stuck him and sent him tumbling backwards. Lucifial remained confident that his powers would succeed as he announced the end for all Angel's and their human counterparts. Lifting his giant appendage, he torn the Black Jewel from the streaming essence causing a sonic reaction. Ruby stopped in her tracks when the whole room fell into darkness. The Angel's wings were the only light left aside from the ambiance from her armor and laminated blades. The Lord of Deception fused the jewel with himself and within a few seconds his overall force increased. Rotten muscles, torn ligaments, and sunken flesh covered his thick bones making it more difficult to end him. Although, the Black Jewel shined in the middle of his chest which stuck out like a sore thumb, but the same went for her. She assumed that they were now evenly matched.
From Claudia's point of view, her sister was shrouded in the layers of darkness near Lucifial. By the time she got to her feet and ventured into the endless void to look for Ruby it would be to late. Nearby, Laxion laid on the ground injured by the most unlikely culprit imaginable...Nyru. His heart had become corrupted and he had attacked his lover causing Alexis's emotions to flare up. The female wizard ran to her friend's side and threatened Nyru with her staff. Claudia staggered towards the conflict fearing for all their lives and begging them to stop. Meanwhile, she summoned her bow ready to shoot Nyru herself if the choice had to be made. Of course, she wouldn't kill him but she would penetrate him in an area where he would bleed and lose consciousness. Nyru swiftly took a hold of Alexis's staff and used it against her as Laxion pleaded for him to leave her be. The situation was getting out of hand and now Claudia had her bow strung and ready to impale his thigh. Shockingly, Laxion had done what she could not and the blonde screamed as her partner collapsed in a pool of blood. Running to his side, she slide to her knees and shakily examined the wound sobbing. "No...no...I can't lose you to." Glaring at Laxion, she turned back to the fallen shadowmancer checking his vitals while Alexis cast her last spell.
A blue ball of arcane light crackled and spread through the void over Lucifial's body causing it to weight a ton. The rune patterns faded as sleep took her leaving the rest up to Ruby, Adi, and the celestial beings. In the heat of battle, Lysandiel occupied the skies with Mesraphael and Scentiel. Adi lunged herself forward and clamped onto Luifial's chest trying to cease his Jewel. Dorian entered the fray only for a moment until he found him master, Zoltan, wrapped in a cocoon of flesh and setting him free. Afterwards, he fled into the shadows, but Ruby could care less about his motives. She reached his hand that desperately swatted at her, and dodged rolled to avoid it. Jumping up, she managed to severe some of the fingers before his palm slammed into her body.
Ruby was knocked over but it wasn't enough to keep her down and before he could crush her she sliced off his hand at the wrist in one swing. The White Jewel already began to waver so she had to make her final moments count. Scaling the howling beast up to his neck, he bared his fangs and her crystalline sword locked with his fangs. His shriveled tongue wiggled around and as he got ready to say something else, she cut it out with her other sword. It flopped out of his mouth, yet his fangs started to weight on her forcing her to retreat. The child jumped away as his jaw snapped together and she brought out her guns to finish the job. While suspended in the air, the jewel's power enhanced the guns, fueling them with an energy beam instead of bullets. Luficial wouldn't be defeated so easily and conjured his own dark purple beam that accumulated in the back of his throat. Ruby fired and a white beam collided with his dark beam and they fluctuated back and forth, but were evenly matched. The two powers built up in the middle and despite all of Ruby's effort the beams caused an explosion. However, Luficial's head was left in a wreaked state and she had fulfilled her purpose.
Ruby was blow back, her armor decimated, both weapons shatter, and her body bruised, bloodied, and soot covered. She landed near Lucas with a thud and laid that for a moment before gasping for air. The jewel was allowing her these few seconds to live, but she could feel it's light fading. Slowly turning over, she spotted Lucas in her blacking vision and dragged her numb body over to him. She could over get close enough to reach out and caress his finger tips and whispered, "Lucas...I'll save you with what little power I have left...protect the other and tell them I-" A clear break could be heard in her chest, her eyes rolled back and her body went limp. Her one last request was fulfilled as the effects from the Black Jewel were being expelled from Lucas's veins.
(This is just so sad. I hope you guys like it)

LAXIOȠ Team Elixer ◥ ♞ ◤ When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for When someone walks into your heart through an open door
◢ ♞ ◣ ((Okay i have three tracks lined up for you to listen to during this most emotional and energetic post! Listen to them as i announce them ;D )) (( Chains of Fate)) The angels were doing what they could to sustain this battle against the monolithic demon they were faced with. It was strange, the angels were only one third of the Greater Demon's size, even En'redial and Dantezan are this large in their true forms. But the angels hold very much the same power, though their intentions are different - but do they share similar motives? Perhaps. The Greater Demons have always been something mortal men had feared, something of myth, of sinister legend as the years have gone by. Great beings such as those at work here had fallen to rumour, hidden... a mystery amongst mankind. And now they stood here, at war. Adi then joined the ranks of the Angels, Zuriel's power invigorating her with Vigour, a righteousness that was stronger than the sun. Mesraphael and Scentiel knew it then, that this was no mortal. Adi could not conjure this power herself, and those wings they could not mistake for anyone other than their own. Their kin. Their long lost brother - Zuriel: High Angel of Vigour. Their hoods looked to Lysandiel in that moment, standing between them but behind Adi, he did not return their judgemental gaze. For now, their thirst for explanation would have to remain parched. Adi threw herself from above, and came down on Lucifial's chest like a dagger that split through his bones and flesh, hitting the very tip of the jewel within him, rushing agony through his very soul as he yelled out in pain, a screech that could shake walls. Scentiel threw her spear high into the air and from ti came glowing white ribbons, they were endless and as strong as steel. The cloth wrapped itself around Lucifial's limbs and the spear divided into many which splintered into the walls in an attempt to hold him tight - for now. Mesraphael stood still analysing everything, wondering what they were thinking, judging what Lucifial would do, asking himself... why it had to be the mortals to do this, and not them. But he knew the answer already. As he hovered their, watching the havoc before him, the reason he came to conclude explained itself. No angel would tear down the threat that was Betrayal... that was Lies... Lucifial was one with a creation of Angels, he was stronger than any aspect, maybe even his brothers. This was the battle than Man had to decide, as children of the Angel's artefact - The Occulanium - they would be more powerful than they... yet no one was to ever know. Lysandiel rushed in, but one of Lucifial's limbs broke free and attempted to strike him down, yet the angel of Redemption would not be struck so easily. Swooping to the side he dodged, but the demon retaliated with a black lightning that sought Lysandiel like a plain in a storm. He held up his sword and attempted to deflect as much of the power as possible whilst Ruby went in. Ruby attacked the monster's head, the mind behind this abomination lied within and with each brutal attack he let out a mighty, demonic roar. Some could say it unfair, an entire team, though lacking many of it's fighters, was ganging upon this fiend. Yet each attack was but a slow descent of pain for a deserving end. Dorian took what he was after too - Zoltan. The source of it all... well. If anyone was to be the Lord of Betrayal - it would be Dorian. Mesraphael knew it then, Reason was that Dorian had to take the soul stone that gave Lucifial life in the land of the living. Without any of this happening, the Underworld would not be free, and the demon lord would still be growing stronger in the land of the dead. But now, yes, he could see it. The Reaper of Souls would roam free once again in his Underworld. Zoltan did not speak, he did not stir or awaken in the slightest. His mind was still in slumber, in darkness. His heart - if he really needed it, did not beat. He would not awaken until long after this is all over. But when the hot was taken from inside, Lucifial felt a weakness, what he had used to hold tightly onto this world was now gone. And then the Black Jewel took an agonising blow, it didn't shatter but it let out a torrent of power that threw Adi into the air and towards Mesraphael. The dark High Angel let out his palm and stopped Adi from spinning and soaring towards him, feet from him she was suspended safely like she had fallen into breathable water. The mystical spell wore off once she balanced. And this was when Ruby sacrificed the power of her jewel, the curse that had been living inside of her, and would now destroy her. Lucifial attempted one last time to prevail, but ultimately Ruby's succeeded, because her power was pure, it was going to bring Justice, just as the Jewels primary purpose sought out. In the end, Lucifial's skull was shattered, cracks and holes revealing the inside of his very soul. (( Wrath of Angels)) "NOW IS THE TIME! WE MUST END TH-" Lysandiel could not announce his full order before Mesraphael said otherwise, his supreme wisdom ruled that "YOU MUST LOCK HIS SOUL WITHIN THE JEWEL. IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP SUCH A FOUL DEMON FROM REVIVING IN HELL. LOCK IT AWAY!!!!". Scentiel chimed in, she said "Perhaps the mortals had the right idea, sealing them keeps them hidden...". Lysandiel nodded and understood the sacrifice they had to make. He knew what his new order would be from this moment onwards. Mesraphael was suddenly at the skull of the tattered demon, and from the demon's chest he took the Black Jewel. It floated from the ruined chest that Adi decimated, and above his palm it was pushed between the three High Angels. Lysandiel did the honours, and shouted "DARKNESS... WILL INDEED FALL!!!!!". His blade fell directly into Lucifial's skull, and with a sonic boom his soul was released, screeching, stretching above them into the darkness. A grey substance that took on his bodily shape, but Mesraphael and Scentiel were already controlling the Black Jewel, and his soul was attracted to it like a magnet. Their hoods stared silently into the Jewel as they channelled their powers into it, commanding it to do their bidding just as Injustira had intended with it's former incarnation - The Omnijewel. And without further ado, his soul was eaten by the Black Jewel, ending the darkness within the room, causing them to remember that once they were indeed in a grand hall. The Jewel sunk from the air and silently touched the ground where Lucifial's body limply lay. The darkness outside prevailed however, and Lysandiel stared out the grand windows in suspicion... something was still wrong. Meanwhile, Ruby had sacrificed what little energy she had left, purifying Lucas' blood and replenishing his taint. He only wished he did not awaken however, for when his eyes opened the first thing he saw was a limp Ruby beside him. Fear in his eyes he pushed himself up, ignoring everything else around him. He shook his head and stared at her lifeless eyes. "Ruby-" he began, barely able to touch her "R-Ru... Say something!" he gasped when he touched her cheek. She was ice cold, her skin was dry, almost like it had cracked under extreme pressure, like she was a china doll. "P-please.. no..." and then he looked over. The battle was over yet darkness remained, and he saw the bodies of the rest of Team Elixer not far.And guilt took over as for the first time in his long life... a tear fell from his cheek and onto his hand. Raising it and observing it from his mumbled speech of denial, he wondered if this was true sorrow... He did not want it... he wished that none of this had ever happened to Ruby. Ever. But before he could mourn any further, he body began to resonate beside him, he called her name in despair but her skin glowed brighter and brighter. He had to cover his eyes, but as soon as the light faded he dared to gaze yet saw nothing. Ruby was gone... the Jewel had taken her with it. (( A New Dawn)) And from the denial... the lies... the secrets... Lucifial's body had began to stand. Without their notice, it was like a spider in the darkness. A tattered, destroyed body, using it's limbs like a bug in one last attempt to decimate them all. And then it would seem that dawn broke through the skies. For outside the window a bright light shun and was painful to watch... and with it was a great warmth. Lysandiel watched with great hope as everything moved slowly like time had ceased. Mesraphael noticed then the body of Lucifial in the back, threatening them all. However, none of them had time to react as the heat became more intense and more painful to the skin of mortals. That was when the glass windows all around the room exploded, and from the grand orb of glass above them descended a monumental fire. The angels were lucky to have had a good heart, for they combined their powers and protected those that stayed close, everyone in the room was then concealed within a golden orb conjured by the angels, even Zuriel forced Adi into joining the other three in creating this barrier. Lucas, in his sorrow, looked through the barrier and at the rising body of Lucifial as it was engulfed in flames and perished into ashes, he saw the room around them become scorched beyond any kind of recognition. And then the flames died away, and the light vanished back into a dullness from outside. The barrier faded, and this time, finally, real rays of light cracked through the sky all over the Lands of Occulas, Magic Earth... had been saved. And finally, a mighty roar, gigantic and beast-like, bellowed across the skies and the sound of monolithic wings flapping in the skies above them could be heard. ((i hop eyou guys like this! More to come after this, suuch as the Angels speaking with Adi and decisions must be made ;D the injured guys will begin to stir as well, oh! i hope you don't mind me doing this with Ruby, Tuna, it fitted well into her next story and gets her away from the scene. from here its all about wrapping everything up i guess... and wondering what on earth that fire was from? hmmmm wink )) ◥ ♞ ◤ When your hand finds the hand it was meant to hold ... Don't let go There's a day when all hearts will be broken, when a shadow will cast out the light, And our eyes cry a million tears: help won’t arrive. I may fall, but not like this: it won't be by your hand!

The sun has set, I close my eyes I pretend everything's alright...Drowning in anger I can't pretend everything's alright...Please don't let me fall forever... There's a hate inside of me like some kind of master! I try to save you but I can't find the answer I'm holding onto you, I'll never let go I need you with me as I enter the shadows

It was over....finally it was completely and utterly over, the realization was both relieving as well as terrifying. Standing there along side the angels...her face turned up to the natural light flowing in from the shattered doom window; warm and inviting. The darkness...the shadows she had crawled into were dispersing; crawling back out relatively unscathed.
"...he's gone...the world is ours..." Adi murmured everything sinking in.
Only then did Adi feel the stinging paints of the claw marks down her body; from right shoulder, across her chest and down to left hip. Ripping through her chain mail in places and cutting through her armor in places. If she hadn't taken on armor the gypsy surely would have been dead. But with the pain, came the realization that though this was all over and though it brought a smile to her lips...others were hurt. Her friends and companions were hurt, dying or in poor, sweet Ruby's case...gone.
Adi had no time to register the shock of her death before having to help shield those that were left.
Left...the realization that there were still more to loose, gazing out from beneath her black hood, unconscious bleeding and wounded, Nyru particularly close to death. The realization alone struck Adi still...how much more loss did she have to bare before it shattered her completely; she wasn't made for this.
"W-What can I do to help...I need to help..." she croaked out desperate for any sort of direction. So desperate to rid the world of a monster, Adi ignored helping and keeping her friends alive. Would Ruby still be alive if she had paid more attention?
Dorian who had hidden in alcove since he had been to far away from the bright shield of gold from the angels was able to shelter himself from the explosion of fire. As curious as it was, they had more interesting things to take care of. Dorian in particular as he stalked out of his hiding spot to look over the group from a cluster of rubble that made a sort of hill within the hall. Zoltan was over his shoulder still unconscious as his once apprentice figured would be the case for a while.
"I was of help and now I take my leave of you all...it was such a 'honor' to work with you all; it truly was 'enlightening'. Oh the things I learned should surely be useful," droned the half bird half man. "I must say gypsy you certainly did turn out victorious...I see why Zoltan was a bit enamored with you in the beginning."
Adi having heard Dorian turned on him swiftly the joy of victory being stamped out by the realization that they still had to deal with him. As he spoke more the true Dorian from before was coming out; manipulative and venomous. The word 'victorious' making her flinch a bit and reminding her of the Prince of Crows.
"Dorian..." she trailed off in warning though she still knew what was coming.
"Rur'Adika Addaharra....Nyru and Claudia pleasure doing business with you, but you wont see the last of me I'm sure," he sneered before taking to the skies.
Adi lurched forward as if to go after him. "Dorian!!" she yelled but he was gone out of the doom and into the distance. "Damnit..." she cursed under her breath; Adi knew this was going to happen Zoltan back in the picture, but realization of it was disturbing.
