Avani felt his noise rub up against his hand. It was so soft and smooth. She couldn't help but push her hand into his nose as he rubbed it against her hand. She then looked thoughtfully as Oblivion spoke, then looked at the sheron. "Doubt that they could learn anything.... The even sleep standing up..." she said. But she turned and smiled brightly at Oblivion and said, "Well, I guess it's a good place to try to start. It's not like they would eat us!"She looked at Oblivion for a moment and then said, "Well, er, could we try soon after the big star show though? I wanna go to Ayr, but Papa said that we can't leave the farm, and that we could enjoy whatever show the skies here would offer." Avani sighed and looked up at the blue sky. One day she would grow up and fly. She would be look over her land and see how wonderful it was. "I would love to go to the big show though. Ismene said it would be perfect there!"She turned and smiled at Oblivion. It was gonna be nice to have a picnic with her parents that night, but she wished she was going to Ayr with the others from around here.

Oblivion wasn't even prepared to argue that sheron were probably the stupidest beasts in all of Magesc, incapable of learning anything. But he couldn't say for sure. If he was going to have to attempt to train anything, he'd rather it be something that wouldn't try and rip him to pieces. Plus, he could always snack on them if they really did something to annoy him. Even if that didn't curry any favors with the little orange-haired girl. His burning crimson gaze slipped over to her, blinking in confusion. A star show? He hadn't heard of anything of the sort... Surely if it was something so big and amazing, he'd have been invited? His presence could only make something like that so much more outstanding. He scoffed as Avani spoke of not being allowed to go. It was just like two-leggers to forbid others from doing as they pleased. His feathered tail dusted against the ground. "I hadn't heard of it..." He admitted. "But it does seem... Interesting, at least. Perhaps I should check it out..." He hadn't been to Ayr before. He spared another glance at the girl. She clearly wanted to go as well. And Levi didn't much believe in not doing what you wanted. "I'm sure I could take you, if you like."

Avani smiled up at him and said, "I would love it!" She then looked to the ground and thought for a moment. "I will have to convince Mama and Papa..." She then looked up at the big....well whatever Oblivion was, and thought of him eating Papa's Sheron. She made a face at the thought of Papa not wanting her to go with him if he knew what had happened to his stock. So Avani began to pace, something she did when her brain went into gear when thinking over a large problem. It just happened the route she took was a circle around Oblivion, though she didn't notice at all. She stopped at one point and picked up a black feather that had come off in the scuffle. She twisted it around, thinking... thinking... He was so black, she thought. So dark he would probably scare Mama into fainting, and Papa into a protective manner, if not furry over the eating of the Sheron... She twitched the feather under her chin and stared off for a moment lost in that line of thought. If only Oblivion was an Orderite, and was just new enough that her parents didn't have time to meet him before she was to leave for the star show.... "I HAVE IT!" she said throwing her arms wide, "I know how to go!" She smiled, "If you can wait till tomorrow, I can convince Mama and Papa that I can go!"She began making plans in her head as how to go about it.

Apple Blossom19 Oblivion would be flattered to know that Avani thinks of him so much. >w< Oblivion tipped his head. She actually wanted to ask for permission when he was solidly offering to take her to do what she wanted? It seemed to defeat the point to him. He'd been certain that they'd head off without another thought, but whatever. She was just a young two-legger. She probably didn't want to be too far from her adult protectors. He sat on the ground and watched her circle him, twisting his head back and forth to keep an eye on her. He blinked and leaned in when she plucked on his his feathers from the ground. Was he shedding? Ugh, gross. He thought he took better care of himself than that. Even the black feather she held was glossy and beautiful, shimmering in the morning sunlight. He sighed at her outburst. He hated waiting. He was ready to adventure now. It was rude to keep someone waiting, after all... Rather than argue, though, he only nodded. The youngster would at least have to let her parents know. Levi wasn't above going against the adult's wishes, but he supposed they could try it her way first. "Very well." He agreed halfheartedly. "I'll wait. But only until tomorrow!"

"Great! And thank you!" she then hugged him real quick (well since he was so big, it was more like she just planted herself on his side and tried to hug him). She stepped back quickly and said, "Meet me here tomorrow after breakfast, and we can start off then!" She then scooped up a rumpled and rather beat up looking Kin, and ran off towards home. She was just reaching home when she wondered if she should have made him promise not to eat anymore of her father's sheron..... ************** Avani woke up early to finish her chores on time, and ate her breakfast as fast as she could while under her mother's eye. Her parents, oblivious to the fact that her new friend "Oblivion " was a Khehora (she had looked up in a book what Oblivion was so she would think of him of something rather than a "big black thing"). She felt a little bad about deceiving her parents, but she really wanted to go. As Seren was her witness, she would never do that again.... at least not as big as this was.... She ran on, holding her backsack straps and hoping it wasn't too much to bring. She had some money saved, and Mama added some sandwiches and a container of sheron milk for the journey. She also added a tin of her sweat cakes that had frosting too. Avani wondered if Oblivion would like to try some. There was also two blankets and her wing covers in case she got cold. Mama was good about remembering those kind of things She approached to the spot where she had left Oblivion and wondered if he was there already or not.....

Apple Blossom19 Okay! So, I'm thinking you can post Avani's reaction to this here, and then I'll take us right into the ORP after that. Sound good? Oblivion had to resist the impulse to twitch away from Avani as her tiny arms spanned across his side. He didn't recall giving her permission to touch him! His lovely, silken feathers were far to valuable to just let any child touch- Oh, well, whatever. It was kind of cute, and it seemed obvious enough that she meant no harm, despite how they'd run into each other. Plus, she seemed so excited about the thought of the upcoming Star Shower that Oblivion could only chuckle. It was a little of a hassle to wait around, but... he supposed he'd have to. It would be rater cruel to disappoint her after he'd agreed to stay. ~~~ Oblivion had departed soon after Avani, finding himself a place in the nearby forest to relax and build a makeshift nest for himself. The day had felt particularly long, and he'd fallen asleep fairly quickly, despite the foreign surroundings. He much preferred to be active at night, being mostly nocturnal as he was, but since Avani had asked to meet him in the morning, he should still have a little energy left... He vaguely wondered when her breakfast time was... He'd departed early, just as the sun breached the horizon, to make sure that he wasn't horribly late to meeting Avani, only to find that she hadn't arrived yet. He amused himself for a bit by tormenting the poor Sheron that were too stupid to avoid him. He found that giving them a powerful nudge with his nose would actually topple them over... He was just tipping his fourth beast when he heard tiny feet running through the grass. he turned to see his young friend hauling toward him, carrying a pack full of supplies. It was a good thing she was so small. Her bag looked heavier than her all on it's own. Still, he purred out an approval when he saw her. "Good morning, little one." He greeted. He decided not to say that he'd been waiting a while. He wanted to get going before the sun traveled too high up in the sky and he became drowsy. He plodded up to her and crouched down, with his belly to the ground. "If you're ready...?"

Avani smiled as she saw Oblivi waiting there. "Good Morning Blivi!" she said brightly. She climbed as carefully as she could up onto him saying as she did so, "Yup! I'm ready!" She adjusted the pack on her shoulders, and said, "Let's Go!"She grabbed onto Oblivi under his feathers and hugged him close as he took off and flew high into the sky. They were on their way.
