Jack had manged to relax a bit on the ride over and was a bit stiff from the long car ride. He took the paper from Xander and then paused trying to think of a back story "uhh" He whispered softly trying to think. Obviously he couldn't go as himself, there would be missing person reports or arrest warrens out on him. He closed his eyes and tried to think of a name Hayes was to obvious, He shuddered at the thought of his fathers name, and there was no way he'd pass for an elizabeth.He sighed he needed to stop thinking of his family, it wouldn't be good to use their names. He ran threw a list of random names and words in his head and decided he was taking too long and to just throw two together. Conner Strand. That would work he guessed, it sounded normal, not really memorable of course if he wanted a really common name he could go with John smith or something but then it might sound like a fake name? This was confusing, he'd just stick with the first one.

Now he just needed a back story, He was young so he wasn't sure how he would pass without a a parent. Right Pokemon journeys people did those. He was Uhh from a well to do family in ummm Kanto and had recently graduated pokemon school and was traveling Zatao figuring it would be a quick trip since it only had three towns before he headed home and tried the gym challenge? That was plausible right? It would have to do, he wished Xander had given him more of a heads up so he could work on it.

He took in the info form Xander and processed it quickly. So much for being done with homework. "Uhh I got, Conner Strand, Just graduated pokemon school in Kanto, came to explore Zatao because the region has a lot of different pokemon from all the regions so its more convenient than going to the others individually as a watcher." He said changing the last bit from being a trainer to a watcher.

He took the bag and pulled the camera out to take a quick look at it and how it worked, it would be bad if he didn't know how to work 'his' camera. "Umm we both come from Kanto, so we could be from the same town? or thats a coincidence and I took photos of your pokemon because of they are unusual?"

"A bit, Its got the indigo plateau as its pokemon leauge, and it has that creepy tower town with the dead pokemon." He knew hoenn had something like that but it was a mountain. Wasn't sure if a tower of dead pokemon or a mountain of them was creepier. He couldn't quite remember the name of the town though it was some sort of flower. And there was a gym run by a team rocket guy a long time ago in uhmm Viridian? He wasn't quite sure on his history of the place, just remembered his father complaining how rockets manged to take over gyms all the time and you couldn't trust a gym leader and how it all started with that one gym in Kanto ages ago and then they inffect mettrosa.

That was it, lavender, it was a flower and a color. It seemed Kanto had a theme of naming its city's after colors? It sounded like that was the town Xander came from. He hoped he hadn't accidentally offended him with the creepy tower state meant. He had nothing against ghost pokemon, just ghosts of the dead were a bit creepy to him. But he supposed it was nice to have a place to bury pokemon, just like people were buried. Jack focused hard on the stories Xander told him about his supposed self, repeating the stories over and over in his head until he was pretty sure he had them memorized.

Jack nodded and got out of the car. He was a bit nervous but took a deep breath and tried to just focus on the other life. Kanto, pokemon school lived in cerulean city. Bikes cost way to much. Uncle lived on other side of mountain and was a breeder. He could do this, just wander around for a half hour and take note of the exits and guards it would be easy right?

"Yes, Derek" He responded, trying to keep pace with the older boy as he continued to repeat the info from before. "I'm Conner Strand" He said softly but a bit louder than his normal tone as he showed the security guard his party pass. Receiving it and the greeting he quickly followed 'Derek' into the party.

Jack nodded and followed Xander to the room where the pokemon were being held, discreetly slipping Viper's pokeball into an extra compartment of the camera bag he was given. While they were out of sight of the party goers and in between guards. He was glad to keep her with him, She all ways seemed to have an idea of what to do and she would be useful in an emergency. She was extremely vocal, well as vocal as on could get with body language.
