Xander worriedly watched as Tigra took the hit then went crashing down. After a heartbeat he was moving over to his fallen pokemon, not worried the snake would accidentally attack him. "You did a good job beautiful." He cooed while kneeling by Tigra's unconscious body. He was quick to recall her into her pokeball after that. He looked over at Jack and have him a slightly pained smile. "You did good for your first battle. Next time you'll have enough time to get to know her attacks and how she is likely to react but it is clear she is definitely a fighter."

Viper flicked her tail as her opponent fell it seemed that she had won. She paused for a moment as Xander came over, and slid her tongue out again, tasting the air and getting used to him for a moment before sliding back over to jack. It took her a bit to get back up the walls of the arena but she manged to get herself settled back on her trainers shoulders soon enough.
Jack was stunned when Tigra fell down and didn't get back up. She wasn't dead was she? Had he accidentally killed Xander's pokemon? "I'm sorry." He said softy, he hadn't expected Viper to attack the way she had. It took him a moment to realize that Viper had made her way back onto his shoulder. "Uh good job" He said awkwardly petting the snake on the head.

"Don't worry about it, it happens." Xander said as he stood up. "She'll be fine once she's healed and had rest."
