Pahana was completely immersed in the song, her hands and feet moving without constraint. For the first time, she felt as if she no longer needed to care about where she was or what she was doing. Was someone there to criticize her? Was there going to be a test? No, she was with a fellow dancer, someone who wouldn't judge her for a little slip up or skip in tempo. In this moment, she was assured that she would be helped, instead of ridiculed. She would be lent a hand, instead of being chastised for all of her mistakes. In this moment, she could be herself, without fear of anything taking that comfort away from her.
She noted how odd the scenery was, how everything seemed to fade from view, but she paid little mind. The light was for her and her partner, a gift from the sky, shining down upon them in admiration. Or, at least, that's what she thought it was doing. Oh, who cared what it meant? She was here, dancing like a pro, and that's all that mattered to her now.

The dance continued on for an unknown amount of time, the both of them seeming to be enjoying themselves greatly, when the look alike girl allowed the dance to come to an end. She gave a happy smile before reaching out to pat the bird on the head, letting him know that he could end this particular song. Once the bird let the last note end she leaned against the same wide tree stump that the bird was sitting on and gave a motion with her hand, seemingly wanting for Pahana to dance now, to show them what she had. It would give the look alike a moment to catch her breath after all.
Turning to look at the bird she thought about it for a moment then nodded to him, wanting for the blue bird to start anew with its singing. Since it was just Pahana dancing this time around the bird chose a slower song, one that would make it a little easier to dance with ease. Since it wasn't as fast or bouncy as some of the songs there was less of a chance of mistakes being made or tripping to be hand. As he sang the girl set to swaying back and forth, seemingly unable to resist the music even when she was supposed to be sitting out.
Naw, this was Pahana's chance to shine and she would behave and allow for that.

Pahana's pace slowed just as the music slowed, her eyes opening. Once again, through out all of her steps, she had forgotten how to keep her eyes open when she danced. However, the thought was pushed aside with the thoughts of fear from before, and she continued her dance. She twirled, hopped, and made a series of ballet-like steps, before allowing herself to spin slowly, her dancing sleeves moving in a tornado like fashion. It was almost as if she were a spinning top illuminated by the spotlight.
It was just her, the stage, and the music. Nothing more, nothing less.

The look alike girl smiled, sitting back a bit, feet kicking happily, seeming as though she was enjoying the show that Pahana was putting on for her. She was dancing, whirling, twirling, and otherwise looking far more confident over the dance that was being done. It was a nice thing, that she seemed to be getting so into the dancing and without any sort of worry about messing up. She was completely into it, enjoying ever step, and the look alike girl couldn't help but to enjoy it as well... until something else caught her attention.
It was a voice, a distant one at the moment, that was calling out Pahana's name. The girl gave the bird a little nudge, encouraging him to sing a bit louder, not wanting for Pahana to get distracted, not before the dance was over at least. The fact that someone was looking for the girl was a bit of a bother to the look alike, she was having fun playing with Pahana, she didn't really want to share her with others if she could help it.
Perhaps they would be lucky and whoever was looking would move on instead of ruining their dance recital. If they did get closer though it might be time to wrap things up.

Pahana heard the voice, but refused to stop dancing to check who might be calling to her. Instead, she stopped spinning, hopped, and leaned outward and toward the voice.
"Who's there?" She called, before jumping right back into the dance. "I'm over here! Follow my voice!"
She figured it was probably her father or her uncle worrying about her, and that everything would be fine if they caught her dancing here. Thus, she continued to dance without paying any further concern.

When Pahana called out to the voice the look alike girl gave a jump, pushing to her feet, and turned to look in the way of the direction of the one who was coming toward them. She couldn't help but to give a bit of a pout, not wanting to give up her new friend, but figured that since they were coming this way she couldn't really keep her any longer, could she? What a shame, she had been having so much fun too! It would seem that it was time to go though, wasn't it? Not as though she wanted to be spotted by any but those that she allowed to see her after all.
The girl gave a nod to the bird that stood alongside her before both of them looked up at the spotlight, the bird giving a trilling whistle. The whistle caused the 'spotlight' to shift before what looked like a rather large, shimmer serpent uncoiled itself from where it was sleeping. It looked down at the look alike girl and the blue bird before it too nodded, and all three of them vanished just as the search party that had been spending the passed day and a half searching for Pahana came onto the scene.
Without the trio of spirits to keep up the illusion the area around Pahana was plunged into darkness.
The group of people look around at Pahana with a variety of looks from panic to curiosity to complete confusion. What had she been doing out here alone for so long? A woman stepped forward, young and small, and wearing a look of worry. "Have you been here this whole time? It must be quite a story to tell if we couldn't find you. You should come with us."
The dancing was done and the music had gone. It seemed like the group of people looking for Pahana hadn't been witness to any of the things that had happened, even when coming so close to look for her until the look alike and her entourage had left the scene.
