Jocelyn was able to let a breath out and relax, she hadn't really noticed that she stiffened with him so close. Though, now that she thought about it, it had happened a couple times before with stallions she found attractive. What a strange occurrence. She had to wonder what caused such things, when she was observing other herds that was something she noticed they all had in common.
When another horse found another attractive unexpected things happened. This would be something she would need to look into, especially since she was somehow being affected by this. Was it something chemical? Was there a scent he... '...I've grown a bit tired of looking at stallions.'
The mare tilted her head lightly as she noticed that he had become very relaxed and lounged about the pool. She suddenly felt on the spot, her blue eyes glanced around to see if many there was someone else there he could be talking too, however there wasn't.
"I-I.. Oh, that's a wonderful thing. Having a herd, even if it's small." She lightly cleared her throat. What was happening to her? Maybe the stream from the spring was getting to be to much for her. Why was she so uneasy about this stallion focusing on her? Sure, she was never the 'center of attention' and she enjoyed working a bit more behind the scenes. But why was this different? Weren't they just talking?
Before she realized it, she stumbled in the water feeling light headed. She needed to get out of the water, he would think she was so weird because of this and not want to talk with her anymore. Why do I care about any of that?
Without looking at Jase again Jocelyn made her way to the side of the pool and weakly tried to get out of the water but it seemed that her hooves kept slipping on the stone and her heart began to race. She had no one to help her. No herd and few friends that were even local... It must be nice to be accepted for who you are, by horses that would always have your back.

"It's nice. Not something I'm used too. I mean, just a few months back it was only my brother and I alone in the wilderness. He's still such a kid-" where was she going? His ears flicked forward and he got up and started making his way back toward her. "Hey, hey, wait up. Do you want out of the pool? Is it too hot?"
It couldn't have been his advance. Could it have been? What had he done?
"If you need out, don't go that way. I'm sure you know but after the hot water from these pools it's a pretty big drop just to walk off into the snow. There's a cave near by heated by the underground river. We need to go there." Was she even listening?

She could hear his voice but for some reason she wasn't able to react to him. This was so strange and it was making her panic even more. Her heart was racing and it was... That's what it was. Fight or Flight and she clearly choose flight. But the issue was she didn't know how to stop it.
her hoof slipped and her knee hit the rock hard and gave her a cut the blood trickling out. The minerals in the water stung the wound as they clean it out. But the shock was enough to make the mare snap back to reality. She needed help and looked to her side she saw Jase standing there with a concerned look on his face. "Help.." She whispered to him.

Whether or not it had been his words which had triggered her panic clearly didn't matter any more. She was ready to run and she wasn't reacting to a word he said. He wanted to keep her from leaving the water and potentially freezing herself, but he was unsure if touching her would be wise just then. It could serve to just panic her more.
He took a step back, "I'm not going to hurt you. I thought you were in to me but you clearly arn't and that's just-" She slipped. He froze.
That one small word was all he needed, he moved back to her side and lowered himself to help her back to her feet, "Lean on me, take it slow. We're going to a warm cave where you can get dried off. Do you understand, Jocelyn?"

Jocelyn breathing had become labored and she nodded lightly to the stallion as she put most of her weight on him. She was moving... What was this feeling that just took over her? The panic attack had mostly subsided but physically she felt paralyzed. Without Jase there to help her she might have stayed in that water until she fainted.
But at the same time, Jase was the cause of this... It was to confusing and after all of this. She owed the stallion big time. He could have just left her there. She owed him an explanation. It was what she did best anyways, right?
After the stallion got her out of the pool he lead her to the caves he mentioned. the air in between was very could and the water that was dripping from her belly had begun to freeze. She could have froze to death had she managed to get out of the water. Her ears wilted as they entered the cave. She was such a weak mare... She knew she was the kind of mare that was to just not be noticed. She watched Herds for so long and came to long to be in one. But she was never able to join any, she never had 'what it took'.
Inside the caves she was able to lean off the stallion, little bits of ice that form cracked and fell to the ground as she herself settled to the ground exhausted. If she didn't look at him, it wouldn't be as hard.
"Jase, I'm sorry about that..." She exhaled softly, if she didn't look at him she couldn't tell if he was staring at her. "That.. I... What.." She stumbled over her words trying to figure out what to say. She wasn't to sure how to even begin.
