Dallol stopped, her arms still stretched out towards Buddingtonite even as her ears rang with the challenge that he had tossed right back at her. "I can fight." She told him flatly and slowly as she held his gaze to ensure that she had his full attention the entire time. "I'm not a helpless little girl who can't even fight her own battles if need be. I have friends who will help me too." She wanted him to be on the same side too. To fight alongside rather than against him. Surely Buddingtonite could see that their goals were aligned. That all that remained was to work out the issues amicably and come to a solution together.
Her mind instantly went blank the moment he turned away then went on to declare that he was severing all ties with her. Before she even realised it, she was already running to throw her arms around him, her own modesty be damned as she pulled him close to her to desperately keep him from leaving. "No... no it's not over. You take all of that back right now! You're still my friend. You just happen to be on the wrong side. I'll find a way to fix that. Just give me some time. Please..." Squeezing her eyes tightly shut, she pressed her face into his back even though that did next to nothing in stopping the tears that spilled from her eyes now.
"Don't go. I'm begging you. Please don't go..."

He scoffed at the notion of her fighting for herself, sneering and adding an extra layer of bitterness to his tone. "Perhaps, but for how long? How long will you be able to fight against the superior force? How long will your friends stay at your side? How long before they seek to take care of their own interests and abandon you? Before they drive a dagger in your back and leave you for the wolves?!"
His mind was racing and he had allowed himself to become too invested, too emotional. He should have reigned himself back and tried to calm down, but it was impossible now, and he was their victim. And the problem was, he was their willing victim. He found himself welcoming the pain and rage he felt, and he also found the idea of turning his bladed boomerang on her to be all too tempting, but he held back. He had to keep distance between them intact, or else, that little voice, that little notion, might win.
Buddingtonite was expecting her to beg or pitch a fit, but he wasn't expecting her to run after him, and the feel of her slamming against his back, her arms wrapped firmly around his waist as though she had morphed into a python... he arose so many conflicting emotions in him, and he wasn't prepared for it. He froze, like one would when confronted with a snake, and became stiff, unwilling and unable to move from this. Something about this, her begging him not to leave, her hugging onto him like this... it rose something in him, and he wasn't sure if he liked it.
"Let. Go." He didn't so much as demand as he did beg, and why was he begging, he didn't know. He asked again, more vigor in his tone, more desperation. "Let. Go. NOW."baby_gwing All is well. We can start wrapping this up anyways!

Buddingtonite was bitter. It made Dallol wonder about the circumstances that led to his joining the Negaverse as well as the company that he kept even as she stood strong against his questions. "For as long as I live. There may be times when I will fall but I will pick myself up and continue to fight so long as I still have a breath left in me." Pausing in between, she took a deep breath, trying to force herself to remain calm in spite of the situation that seemed to be rapidly spiralling out of control.
"I have faith that my friends will support me given our common stand in this war. Anyone who betrays me like that is no friend of mine." Even if all of those whom she considered to be her friend proved themselves eventually to be otherwise, she was determined to fight on alone. That was what she had decided for herself after everything that had happened.
Clinging onto Buddingtonite, she shook her head a few times, refusing to back down one bit even as he demanded that she released him at once. "No! I'm not letting you go no matter what happens." For the very first time in her life perhaps, she found herself at a complete loss as to what she should do in order to resolve this. If she let him go right here right now, they were going to have to fight each other the next time they met and that wasn't something that she wanted to happen at all.
"As soon as I let you go, you're going to leave me and then we'll be forced to fight each other the next time our paths cross. Please don't let that happen Buddingtonite. I can't fight someone whom I regard as a friend like you..."

He thought he had asked her politely to release him, but not only was she keen on refusing his offer to join the ranks of the Negaverse as a comrade, but she refused a simple request like this? It enraged him, he swore he could see nothing but red and the world around him vanished into a hazy mist of crimson. How long would this last? When would he find his way out of this... whatever the hell it was?
He had no answers, and now, for all of his restraint, all of his kind words and gentle handling of Dallol, he was quick to grab for her and try to throw her away, letting out a scream that was certainly nothing short of animalistic and would have terrified children and ladies alike, or the weak of heart in general. "NO, you won't, because someone WILL inevitably take your starseed and I won't have the authority or means to stop them! Don't you get it? Don't you see? Without my protection, you'd be nothing]!"
He wasn't sure how he managed it, but he freed himself from her grip and whirled on her. There was no weapon, no youma, only the shrill of his voice as he continued his verbal assault. "Your faith's misplaced then, because they can't protect you forever! And if you stay on that side, then I can't protect you either! I will -not- be deemed a traitor to the Negaverse or Queen Metallia, and I refuse to die like a witless sheep that you and your 'friends' are. You are all going to die! Don't you get it? Don't you see? I'm your only chance, or was because this is over!"
He heard her cries, but they did nothing to quell is anger. If anything, they only added guilt and that stacked onto his already smothering rage. He couldn't handle anymore! He couldn't, and he sneered, before teleporting away, like the coward he knew and accepted himself to be. "One day, I will save you... whether you want to be saved or not!"

Totally unprepared for the rough handling by Buddingtonite, Dallol found herself suddenly wrenched free from the Captain and tossed aside as though she was a toy that a child had grown tired of. Wincing at the scraping of her palms and knees against the asphalt that, though timely enough to prevent her from falling literally onto her face, were likely bleeding at the moment, the Uranus Page was momentarily shocked into remaining where she was, her ears ringing at the animalistic cry that she wasn't before aware that someone like Buddingtonite could make.
"No... that will not happen. I won't allow it!" Her gaze lifted so that she could look at the older redhead, her hand already stretching out towards him as she tried again to dissuade him from leaving. "No. Don't go. Stay. We can still talk this through. Please!" But it was already too late. One moment Buddingtonite was standing before her, seething with anger at her refusal to join the Negaverse and in the next moment, he was gone, his last words foreboding as if to warn her of the consequences should he eventually have his way.
Lowering her head till her chin touched her chest, she lifted shaky hands to her face, sniffling a few times before she finally broke down entirely. After all that had happened, first with Darren and now with Buddingtonite, she wasn't even sure right now if these were the right things to do.
