Eira gave a little smile then, "That sounds nice." The voice of an angel, huh? Now that was something that she could really appreciate as far as recruiting went. Natsu seemed as though he would be the perfect sort of addition to her troupe. Now if only she could get him and his pretty friend to join them she thought to herself, putting on her best smile. She really wasn't someone that gave up easily so she hoped that it would help as far as this particular recruitment went.

She couldn't help but to give a little bounce when Viveka mentioned that Natsu would be interested. Excellent! She gave a little clap of her hands before he said, "I would like to meet up with both of them to discuss it sometime soon." She tilted her head when Viveka said that he wasn't good with crowds, that he clammed up, and she gave a smile, "I am sure we could find something for you to do in which you don't want to talk but let's not worry about that for now, pretty one." She would just be happy to have him around as eye candy. If he weren't taken she'd of happily claimed the pretty boy as her own.

As Viveka turned to look over at Makani, asking him about Natsu and how they met she decided to allow Makani to tell her. He looked as though he needed a moment to recover from their discussion after all. She wasn't a mean lady so she'd give him a moment.

Makani tilted his head to one side, a thoughtful look on his face, enjoying the conversation. Poor Viveka, he sounded so flustered. It was actually kind of cute if you asked him. Leaning in closer to Viveka and murmured, "You're lucky that you have Natsu, she might eat you up otherwise." It was something that would keep the cutie safe from his sister, it seemed as though he was were the sort that Eira rather liked. He'd have to keep that in mind for later, in case they were to run across a man like Viveka who wasn't already taken, one to fix Eira up with since she didn't seem to have any luck of her own up to this point.

Drawing back he said, "A while back the two of us, along with our father Herluin, were traveling back to Sauti to visit with my mother's people. We crossed paths with him, he played with me and Eira while our father hunted, and then shared dinner with us. It was quite a fun afternoon."

A curious look appeared on his face before he asked, "How did you meet him, Viveka?"

Viveka continued to blush at the attention Eira was giving him. Admittedly, it was nice to be recognized by a woman a pretty as her, but it was also a tad embarrassing for him. He wasn't used to having everyone watch him, nevermind pay any attention to him, so the idea of being casted in a troupe was daunting in of itself. All those eyes, all those people, expecting him to be something he wasn't sure he could be, ooooh, it was too much! She was too much!

"I... I'll let him know w-when I head back home!" He exclaimed, clinging to his arm. "Per-perhaps we could exchange contact info! We could f-find each other easier then!"

It was a relief when Makani spoke. He allowed himself to let go of the near death grip on his arm and smile, before trying to picture how the meeting might have went. Natsu liked to play word games and song games, as well as anything that involved swimming and running. He could only imagine what sort of mayhem Natsu had gotten Makani and Eira into during their visit!

"Huh? OH!" He gasped, the focus suddenly shifting back to him again. He blushed, gazed to the side, and giggled. "I met him when I was nine. My grandfather was helping Natsu's grandfather out by training Natsu's older brother, Mycah. We're all sort of family friends and..." He paused, breaking out in a laugh. "I remember showing him my first sculpture, a terrible looking flower I had made five minutes before he had arrived, and he thought he had seen Bergchi herself!"

He giggled for a moment more before wiping his eyes, which had become tear laden from his laughter.

"Needless to say, I was sold!" He chuckled.

Eira listened to what Viveka was saying about Natsu, how they'd met, and she couldn't help but to think that he was a rather romantic sort of person, wasn't he? The sort that got all cute and embarrassed recalling how he'd met his true love, it was something that she was a touch envious of. Why couldn't she find someone like that? The question was instantly answer though when she recalled that she had some rather high standards. Sure, she was all for flirting and teasing but when it came to the one that she might one day settle down with it was going to be a very specific sort of person. Once she found that person she would latch on and never let go no matter what.

"He sounds like a good guy." She said, giving a smile. The sort blinded by his love in fact if his story about the sculpted flower were to be believed. It was cute in a very sugary sweet manner she thought to herself. Not her cup of tea, but at least a story that she liked hearing about.

Giving a bit of a grin she said, "I will likely only settle down when the man of my dream shows up and sweeps me off my feet. That or appears to fight a Weywa with his bare hands to impress, I am good either way." She chuckled at the thought, certain that there weren't any men of that caliber about but a girl could dream!

*****

Makani was listening with equally as rapt attention before giving a little sigh, "How nice! The one I had much first crush on, he was a really sweet, kindly merchant that came through the village I lived in. Of course I was far too young for him and sadly I haven't seen him of late, but when I was little I was quite convinced I'd marry him." It was amusing now, of course, the way he thought of Lusala back then. Now though he knew that he was a nice man who had just been being nice to a little kid. A part of him would like to chase him down again some day though.

Lifting his hands up he crossed them over his chest and said, "Maybe I will get lucky while we are traveling with the troupe and find my own Natsu." He gave a bit of a smile at the thought. While he didn't want Natsu exactly he could go for someone as sweet as that. When his sister set to explaining what she wanted in a man he couldn't but to laugh, "A man who could fight a Weywa, huh? A shame that Gyuri isn't quite up to your standards, I think he is probably the only one in our village who might be able to hand one of those things in hand to hand combat."

Viveka nodded at Makani and Eira, agreeing with the comments they had made. Natsu was the best person in the world, there was no one else out there for him, and it made him happy to know that others recognized just how lovely his husband was.

"A Weywa? My goodness!" He exclaimed, startled by Eira's statement. "That's a little harsh, sending someone on such a task just to win affection, what if they got their arm torn off?" He shook his head and tried to keep himself from reprimanding Eira for such a lofty request. Men weren't made of stone, though some could easily pass if they pushed themselves around enough, and it was quite ridiculous to ask them to go on a death mission just so they could win a girl's hand. Or any hand for that matter. He figured any man that would try would either be mentally handicapped or become mentally handicapped after the fact. Simply crazy.

"Mmn? Oh! I'm sorry you haven't seen him in awhile!" He said, turning towards Makani with a sympathetic expression. "What was his name? Maybe Natsu's heard of him and could send a message along with a friend!"
PostPosted: Sun May 11, 2014 5:05 pm

Eira rested her hands on her hips and said, "Come on now, this is my dream man! Of course he'd overcome it with ease because of his skill at battle and pure masculine power!" She chuckled then, "I am more then certain that such a man doesn't exist but it's alright, that is why he is my 'dream man' and not some real man." She highly doubted that there was really a man out there that fit the title that would actually mark him as a 'dream man' but no matter, she could still imagine such a wonderful creature appearing out of her dreams and coming to sweep her off her feet, it was her right as a woman to do so.

Giving a smile she reached out and patted Viveka, "I suppose I could wave the 'fighting a weywa' thing if I could find a pretty boy like you though. A shame you don't have a double." She gave him a little wink before she turned to look over at her brother, sighing a little when it seemed that he was going on about that merchant of his again.

"Makani... you should branch out, try to find someone other then that merchant. He had his chance!" She didn't know him but it was clear she didn't like him. Why would she? The guy had hurt Makani's feelings making it so that she wanted to strangle him... or better yet have Gyuri do if the stupid merchant ever showed his face again!

*****

Makani turned his ear toward his sister, listening to her a moment, then turned back to Viveka once more, "Ahh... yeah, not for quite a while now... Ah! I don't mind though, so long as he's alright somewhere then I am happy, you know?" Even if his sister didn't feel the same. Find someone else, huh? He supposed it was silly to hold onto one's first love for so long.

"I know, I know Eira! The first handsome, muscular man I see, I will throw myself into his arms!" He said, hold up his hands, waving them dramatically. It was one of those sarcastic sorts of declaration that would like cause her to toss him into a snow bank at some point but it was so worth it! If he couldn't joke about his eyes then everyone else would just tip toe around him and act as though he were breakable or something! Not something he wanted to deal with, thanks.

Giving Viveka a grin he said, "Women, am I right?" He joked, quickly ducking behind Viveka when he heard Eira take a step in his direction, laughing all the while.

Viveka stifled his growing laughter as best he could as Makani spoke, and allowed the other man to duck behind him, though hoping that he wouldn't be punched as a result. He shivered, chuckled, and wiped his eyes, before giving Eira an apologetic look.

"S-sorry! I just," He said, another chuckle bursting through. "I just think that even if this man is a 'dream man', you shouldn't be so wrapped up in how the guy looks. Bergchi forbid if he gained weight or got hurt so bad he could no longer keep himself well, what would you think of him then?"

Then, he turned to look to Makani, and gave him a quick pat on the back in approval of his jokes. Women were rather enigmatic, he knew that for sure! He couldn't imagine having an older sister, Rastian was quite enough, if you asked him. If only the Healer would stick around Mez more often and not vanish, then they could catch up and actually start to feel like brothers.

"But, if I may comment, why a muscular man, Makani?" He asked. "I don't understand the appeal of big muscles, I'd rather a loving hand or firm shoulder to lean on than a big mass of muscles."
PostPosted: Sun May 11, 2014 8:10 pm

Eira gave her brother a look, one that while he couldn't see she really hoped he was able to feel. She then turned to look at Viveka, then gave a smile, motioning to herself, "When someone looks like me they aren't going to let any vagrant have a shot. My man will be as good looking as I am, of this I am certain." She said in a matter-of-fact manner. She then crossed her arms under her ample chest and said, "If he happens to gain weight it best be because Bergchi blessed him with the ability to have my babies. I will not have some man lazing about while my troupe and I are working hard!" She'd be damned if she got herself attached to some someone like that!

"As for getting hurt, that is something entirely different." She said, waving a hand. If he got hurt on the job for instance, that she would let slid. Work related injury was far different from gaining weight because one was a lazy blob! One she would deal with were it to happen, the other would cause her to toss a man out on his ear in the snow!

*****

Makani couldn't help but to laugh at his sister's words, finding her to be ever entertaining. He loved her dearly but she could be a bit of a hard a** where some things were concerned. It was interesting though, hearing her speak without all of her normal flirting and fluff. He'd put his money on the fact that Viveka was gay. She had zero reason to flirt with a man who was hooked up with another man since it was likely she wouldn't get anywhere.

"Eh? Oh, I don't know. It just sounded good at the time. Lusala, that is the guy I was talking about before, he wasn't really all that musclar or anything. He's not a warrior or anything though, he's a merchant, so he doesn't need muscles or the ability to battle Weywa with his bare hands." He said, unable to really picture someone that sold things day in and day out doing something like that. It was out of character for Lusala but warrior or not, merchant or not, he was the one that Makani had a crush on. Well, at least a puppy dog crush that was. He wasn't really crushing on him as much now since it had been ages since they last met. Still, he felt that he was at least allowed to think of him fondly.

Giving a smile he said, "I'd say that someone like Gyuri, he works for my sister's troupe, would be a nice example of a mass of muscle that is quite attractive and enjoyable to be around but... yeah, there is no chance with that guy. He's head over heels for the most oblivous man alive." He said, giving another chuckle. Poor, poor Gyuri... and silly Borra he thought to himself.

Viveka forced himself not to give Eira an eye roll in response to her reply, feeling as though that would only further the discussion of what sort of man would be best for her and why. Instead, he smile politely and focused on what Makani was saying.

"Gyuri?" He questioned, his mind going back several months. "I've met someone by that name, my brother and I, in fact. His father traded with my brother while he and I chatted outside..." He paused, blushing. "I felt as if I had been rude to him the whole time, though. ...He was a little intimidating."
PostPosted: Sun May 11, 2014 9:59 pm

Eira gave Viveka a curious look when he spoke of Gyuri before she gave a little laugh, "Intimidating, huh? Good, good! Ah, well not that he was intimidating to you per say, just that he is in general. He is the muscle for our troupe so it's good to hear that he looks the part." She was pleased with this, she wanted him to be able to play the part of security well. Knowing that he had at least been able to intimidate one person made her feel as though she had picked well as far as someone to head up her security went. She wanted nothing more then to find Gyuri and give him a big hug! Though... she was sure if she did he would likely be more confused then anything.

Leaning in she whispered, "I will let you in on a secret, you don't really have to worry too much about him. For the most part he is actually a pretty sweet guy for being as huge as he is." She didn't want just anyone to know that but she felt that Viveka was someone she could trust with this secret. Drawing back she told, "Just don't go telling anyone, alright? We want people to think that he is the scariest security manner out there." She told the pretty boy, certain that he would keep Gyuri's secret. She just felt she should probably tell him, just in case he ran into Gyuri again, she didn't want Viveka running the other way.

*****

Makani gave a little laugh, "She's right you know, he's a pretty good guy. Always following around after Borra like some sort of Raptrix pup following his momma. It's actually pretty cute." Not that he could see it exactly but one had to be blind, deaf, and dumb not to notice the fact that Gyuri was so smitten. Well... that or super oblivious like Borra was but he supposed that Borra was a special case, wasn't he?

"I am sure he isn't upset with your and I can't see him thinking you rude... though if you see him again you should talk to him. He won't say much, he never seems to, but he's good at listening at least." Not to mention that he responded in his own way. It made things a touch difficult for Makani at times, a silent man not talking to a blind guy, but they got along well enough, "Oh! But just don't expect him to notice you if Borra is about, he tends to get all of Gyuri's attention when he's nearby." He cautioned Viveka.

Viveka blinked twice at Eira's reply but quickly found himself grinning. Ah, he was a guard, like Yaholo! That made perfect sense, with his body type and all, he would make an excellent protector!

"Oh, really?" He said, chuckling. "Well, next time I see him I'll know not to be afraid. I had just never seen someone that buff before, even my friend Yaholo, from Jauhar, looks small in comparison, and he's quite carved himself, if you know what I mean."

At the mentioning of Borra, his gaze, again, turned more thoughtful. Why did that name ring a bell? Something about a lute, a Roati... OH!

"I know Borra, too!" He laughed, finding the coincidence humorous. "He showed me a local Roati farm, up the mountain just a while. He has a Roati, right? I want to say he called it... Baroke?"
PostPosted: Sat May 17, 2014 1:56 am

Eira gave a little smile when Viveka seemed to decide that he didn't have to be afraid of Gyuri. That was good, she somehow doubted that the big guy would like the idea of just anyone being afraid of him. While it worked out as far as his job went it would likely make making friends a bit harder if you asked her. As such, with those she wanted in the troupe, she would let them know about Gyuri's true nature... not that it was hard to see after spending extended amounts of time with him, or any time that he was with Borra.

"I am sure he will appreciate that, I bet he will even see you as a friend if you aren't afraid of him." She told Viveka, seeing that as one more reason why the pretty boy should join her. A thought that she decided to keep to herself, not wanting to push the invitation anymore then she already had. She didn't want to chase him off after all.

When talk turned to Borra, as well as his pet, Eira nodded, "Both Borra and his pet are joining our troupe. We are considering seeing if his Raoti can be taught tricks but we aren't quite sure about it yet." It would be helpful as far as the show went.

*****

Makani smiled and added, "He's also a musician from what I gather, I haven't heard him place yet but I bet he's good." He said with a smile, wanting nothing more then to hear his friend play. Given that Borra was a part of the troupe though he doubted that it would be all the difficult to get to hear him in the coming days.

"Yes, Baroke. He's a pretty friendly creature and so soft as well. I'd like a Raoti of my own but I'd rather not have my sweet puppy Rae get jealous or anything." Best to keep her happy since she was his guard dog and seeing eye dog all rolled into one. She kept him safe and happy, made sure he was never completely alone, and as such he probably wouldn't be getting a second pet, not wanting her to get jealous even in the least bit, "Well, even if I can't get one I can play with Borra's raoti when he is around which is nice. Especially since they will be traveling with the troupe and I might be joining them."

Viveka's smile only widened as the conversation went on, and suddenly felt more comfortable about the invitation to join the troupe. He would know so many people that he liked and that he could trust... Surely it wouldn't be that daunting to help out a group of friends? He mulled it over as he listened and grinned.

"Oh, you have a puppy?" He exclaimed. "I've always wanted a Raptrix to help me carry my tools and supplies for when I sculpt big projects. It would save me from slipping up the mountain while I carry them myself. But... I haven't found a breeder yet who would be willing to trade a free sculpture for one of their pups."

He sighed, grabbed at his arm, and looked to the side, his thoughts moving back to joining the troupe, and eventually turned back to Eira with a smile.

"I... Really think that Natsu and I might be able to join your troupe, Eira." He said. "But I'll need to check with Natsu firsy, of course. Can't decide something this big without his consent, you know. Does that sound alright to you?"
PostPosted: Wed Jun 11, 2014 8:14 am

Pidgeons Go Meow X3

Eira gave a shake of her head, "Don't let him fool you, that beast of his is no puppy, not anymore at least. When she was little she was a tiny ball of fluff with downy cover wings. Now she is a monster with a huge set of feathery wings that she isn't allowed to open inside because they tend to knock things over." Eira told Viveka, not wanting for him to get fooled into thinking that Makani still had a puppy following him around since that was far from the case. Giving a bit of a shrug she then added, "She is a good enough pet though, she keeps Makani safe from various things, I will give her that." Even if she wasn't one for pets herself, save for her Sprite which was more like a companion, she saw the uses for them in a way that others might not.

"Hmm, raptrix pups... it's a shame that we don't know anyone with a male, maybe Rae could have a litter, Makani." Not that she could really picture it. How would Rae take care of Makani if she had a litter of pups after all? She wouldn't know what to do with herself, nor would Makani if he were to have to travel from place to place without her. She was quite important to him after all.

"Eh? You think so?" She asked, forgetting all about the talk of puppies when it seemed that Viveka was, perhaps, turning to her side. So he would check with Natsu then? See about joining their group? She couldn't help but to clap her hands together, bouncing in place, as he gave her hope that she would have him on her side. Such wonderful eye candy would do wonders for her troupe! The fact that she just might be able to nab him and Natsu both, it was a glorious day indeed! Giving a nod she said, "It sounds good to me!"

*****

Makani shook his head, "She isn't a beast! She is just... very large! You know that they are tamed to be mounts, something that one can ride about from place to place, of course they have to be big." He said, wanting for Viveka to know that Rae wasn't a giant, rampaging monster by any stretch of the imagination. She was just... big and protective, that was all. Sure, she might appear a bit intimidating but it wasn't like she was a monster. So long as Viveka knew that then Makani would be happy.

"Hm? Pups? I don't know. Maybe some day if she finds a mate that she could be interested in. Until then I see no reason to go about finding her a man." He was sure if she had any interest in pups that she would probably find her own man. For the time being though she tended to be at his side. The only reason she wasn't today was because he was going on a walk with his sibling. Time for them to chat with each other without interruptions... well, until they found Viveka at least. Rae just didn't have to know was all he thought to himself, giving a bit of a smile as he thought how jealous she might be knowing that he was spending so much time with others.

His smile only grew at the joy that seemed to be radiating off of Eira when Viveka spoke of possibly joining the troupe. It seemed that he'd run it by Natsu, huh? After a moment of thought he said, "When you see him, tell him I said 'hello'. I wonder if he remembers me." He was quite curious, their meeting had been some time ago after all.

Viveka beamed at both of them. It felt good to see that his words made them smile, as well as the feeling of the resulting boost of confidence he got from allowing himself to say them. Natsu and he could join this troupe, they would know everyone there, and they would have a wonderful time traveling together. It would be like a big family, he assured himself, a big family of good-natured, like-minded people. He had nothing to fear.

"I'm sure Natsu remembers you!" He exclaimed. "He never forgets someone, even if he only met them once or for a short time. I think he'll be absolutely delighted to see you both!"

He paused, shocked by how loud he had become. But... Had he really just shouted, or was this how people normally get excited? He smiled meekly and glanced down the path behind him. His father was probably waiting for him... He really didn't want to leave.
"I... I should get going." He said, with a sigh. "My father's probably looking for me. I swear I'll get back to you once I get Natsu's answer! Where can I find you?"
