Sorry Grogan Deathstroke is busy being awesome and fighting off a bunch of heroes. Though won't lie unless I get more villainous back-up. He going to call it a lost and retreat.

However I do say we open up the place for new recruits however. It should be a first come first serve principle and they need to have a good reason for showing up late. Either from watching news of the fights or getting called in.

We're literally swapping the DQed people for active people.
No real new slots.

My bad, that's what I meant to say. Open up the dq'd swap spots on a first come first serve basis. Once all the swap spots are filled no more can get in.

No.
The spot(s) should simply remain empty till the event has ended. If a side has lost players to fight, then that side should fight on and try to win despite the odds.

I try to remain positive and instead think of Gotham as 80 something + Deathstroke vs 4. lol

Though we do have a White Martian and if Starfire vanishes Vlad Vane should be free again. ^^ So we might have some more even odds.

it's about 80+4 versus Ian and Arturia in Coast.
She's just Human.

We have to last a further 40+ posts this way...

You can do it. Green Lanterns have no fear and just will themselves to ultimate victory lol. Arturia has Excalibur which is like the bane of demons and a badass horse lol. I see you guys whooping a** for 40+ posts.

I say go with it, because imagine the entrances into the fights. You could have one come in and look around all badass like, or someone pulling some genuine comedy while they're coming in.

Or have someone that just won their battle, but is severely injured, get owned with no chance to fight back because of their lack of energy. Not really positive.

I suppose there is the problem with the fact that "fresh" people are coming into an already underway zone. Meaning that they're basically at full health whilst everyone is at half.

People need to sort their s**t out and win then because this event has been going on for a month with people who posted a month ago only just posting now. I understand stuff is important and what not but it takes about 20 minutes to write 500 words. C'mon.

...What if they have to deal with a certain number of underlings first despite the villain/hero they see, making them tire from their own battle prior before facing their opponent, and giving the other the opportunity to rest up and prepare for the fight.

And having new people coming in fresh for battle is similar to how an actual battle or war is fought, wait for a chance to see the enemy weaken and then send in the reserves, send in the grunts first and then send the elite like the Romans did, or hold a defensive stance until you see a break in the enemy formation like Alexander did at the Battle of Gaugamela. You could also see this in The Art of War, or from the Second Punic War when Hannibal took down the largest army mustered by the Roman Senate even though he and his men were exhausted and hungry. In the end it all comes down to Strategy, Tactics, and the will to fight...

Sorry about the rant on that, I've been playing Rome II for a while so my mind's still in the battlefield.

What underlings? There all in the battle and heroes don't have underlings and if underlings are that easy to beat they aren't going to wear you out considering how some people have been facing Gods pretty much.

And this isn't a war, it's an RP. So it has to be somewhat balanced and fair, if someone already in the incursion was looking for that opportunity that would be more fair.

Or you can let villians do mini objectives to summon a crew operated boss. It will keep heroes interested and attract villians.
