Maybe it was because she was Avacyn instead of Amytis, but her ankle definitely seemed to be hurting a lot more by the time she was settled on the couch and peeling shoes and socks off to tend to it. She took in the apartment, and then her eyes fell on the Xbox by the TV.

"Hey, you game?" She asked, perking up with excitement. "What do you have?"

"Uh, everything." Veer's eyes brightened as he looked from her to the console -- remembering that D&D crack, most certainly, and he got up to show her the collection. He worked at Best Buy now; it meant that his discount was large, and it was even easier to pull off the five-finger discount.

Eventually, he'd pop in Soul Calibur, and they could play long past they'd both gotten tired of it. And if she wanted to, she could even doze on the couch until she felt well enough to wind her way home...
