"To be honest, That's as much as we got too before...other things happened." She looked away, not even mentioning that she was the one who told Lance about Aria.
"Aria never told us all of what she was involved in Stormy..." Nevada pulled out some more pieces, "but Lance warned us to be careful, especially if we see her....he told me some things about Aria too when we talked..."

Naturally, Stormy wanted to know these things. Naturally, this was when she made her last mistake.
The third tranquilizer dart was larger than the rest and flew directly into her neck. The trainee gave a strangled yelp before crumpling to the ground, knocked out for about ten minutes.
She really didn't like this course.

she waited for Stormy to ask more things when the last dart came at the girl. The poor thing.
In waking for her, she took two more pieces and then reached over to gentle slide her jacket under Stormy's head, petting it while the girl was knocked out.
Her two pieces though, and taking care of Stormy made her almost not feel the dart in her arm.
"Ouch.." She pulled it out and looked at it..."that smarts..."

When Stormy woke up a little later, she was determined to play catch up. Although she couldn't help but whine a bit as she got back up and checked herself for the itchy entrance wounds. That was probably why she got stuck with one again, ugh.
"R-Right! So, um, what were we talking about again. Aria and things?" she prompted, trying to smooth this over as much as possible.

"Talking about what?" She studied the Jenga again, moving more pieces out.
"Did I mention I was there when Lance came back from his promo too, Apparently the way leaders are made it to drop them in Titans."
She was starting to feel the woozy, from another dart hitting skin and looked at the tower.
"Almost done..."

"Could've sworn . . ." But she didn't get the thought out as yet another dart hit her. "Are you serious?" Stormy complained aloud, allowing herself to be angry in public (if only because it was with her bestie).
This was getting almost humiliating.
"W-Wait, what?" Wide eyes turned to Nevada. "They seriously fed him to a titan? Not that I don't think Mr. Lance had a problem beating it, but . . ."

"I've been real fond of talking to Lance lately, went to go check on him after the whole Aria thing, I guess they were very seriously dating...?" She pulled out the last two pieces and hissed in delight. "His office was empty, chair overturned? I went to check it and there he is, covered in blue and stinky goop."
She sighed leaning back, "I asked him what happened, He said Caelius dropped into a titan but he cleaved it in half with his weapon. leader status achieved. Think he was pretty hyped on it."

With great purpose she yanked her fifth piece out and dared the lab techs to shoot her again. Uh huh.
"Nice . . ." But Stormy couldn't help but frown with sympathy. She had a hunch Aria and Lance had been dating, but then thought that it was just her imagination--you know, the kind that said of course the leader and assistant would, like in nice stories. Breaking up was bad enough, but with all that other stuff piled on . . .
"Yikes," she mumbled. "Maybe we should get him something nice for Christmas. Or--" Stormy sat up straighter, looking determined. "Let's be the best Mists we can be! Should we keep going since you, uh, finished?" On the first try to boot . . . jealous.

Yeah life techs, try to shoot Stormy again. When no darts came, Nevada smiled at the younger mist, her shoulders rising and falling.
"Yeah, It was..is a big mess." Nevada felt that whole homewrecker guilt rising again, clearing her throat. "I was thinking of getting him a small gift, but i'm not sure what Lance likes..." She nodded, "and try to stay out of trouble Stormy, that's the best thing we can give him. With mist being under watch and all, he doesn't need anymore trouble." She pushed herself up out of the seat, shaking her head.
"No, I think we're done here. It doesn't seem healthy to be knocked out...and neither of us want that to happen..." or again, but that was left unsaid. "Let's go back to the room, and we can eat candy and color some. That sounds funner then Jenga at least."

Try to stay out of trouble. Nevada wasn't the only one trying to swallow down guilt now. For a moment Stormy was ready to just spill about having told Gale and the punishment therein, but . . . a spike of nervousness made her hold back.
Not yet. Maybe when they were busy with other things so Nevada's attention could be divided.
Giving her a grateful look, Stormy all but launched herself away from Jenga, still smarting from the assorted entry points of the darts. "Sounds like a plan," she chirped, rubbing at her arm. "Hey, Nevada? Thanks."

It's too bad that Nevada was shoving her whole 'I told Lance about Aria, and drove her from the mist division and then almost got Lance killed because he had to be the new leader..........' and had she known that Stormy didn't have her weapon cause of the binding well...It would've been more like 'I told Lance about Aria, and drove her from the mist division and then almost got Lance killed because he had to be the new leader..........and sorry about driving the only person out that could get your weapon back and so sorry Stormy...'
Instead she took Stormy's hand in hers and squeezed. "I should be the one thank you, you know." She cocked her head, yawning a bit. "I love you Stormy." She said simply and led the other girl out of the lab.
Somewhere, some life techs were dabbing their eyes with tissues at this such heart warming sister pair.
