"You won't... take chances, will you?" She asked quietly. "More than you have to, I mean? Just in case?" She couldn't talk Tallulah out of fighting if she was going to do it eventually, but she could plead for more caution - oh, she hoped Tallulah wouldn't take that the wrong way. She just wanted her to be safe, she didn't doubt her abilities or anything or...
She swallowed. "Yeah, okay. Um..." She watched Tallulah put the money down, and frowned, mentally doing the math on her toast. She couldn't do anything about it right now, but she would find a way to pay the other girl back for the small meal eventually. Preferably in a way she wouldn't be able to turn down.
Shaking her head, Erika pushed that thought away and offered a smile. "Thanks. Um. I'll see you around, Tallulah?" She asked, tone hesitant and uncertain. She didn't want Tallulah to think she had no intention of seeing her again!
But before she could think too much more on what the older girl might think of her words, she was distracted by the increasing flow of people into the restaurant. Maybe she should take this form back to the school to try and fill it out there...
A handful of laughing college students pushed their way into the store then, and Erika decided that yes, filling this out in her room was a much better option than staying here. It was getting too crowded to be comfortable.
